This was my first time trying painless dent repair instead of going to a traditional body shop--and now I wish I'd tried it sooner. I am a "car guy" that likes to keep a car a long time and keep it looking good. I was amazed at how Ryan made a inch long crease in a very convex piece of sheet metal disappear (outside, top edge of a rear quarter panel on my wife's '05 Miata). I was hoping for "much less noticeable" and got "impossible to see where it happened." Did a good job with repairing two dents, no question. However, he was wiping the dirty surface of the paint with a dry cloth. The area of the hood he worked on is not covered in swirl marks and will require machine correction. I have maintained my car with diligence and it's disheartening to have a detailed cause damage while fixing another issue. As a retailer, he should know never to wipe a dirty surface with a dry cloth. He insisted that microfiber won't cause damage but dirt rubbing across the surface is damaging, regardless of the cloth. It's unfortunate that I can't give five stars for the dent removal but a detailed should not be causing additional damage to the paint work. read more

Had taken my husband's 2002 ford explorer sport trac to 4 different body shops for body work on multiple dings on the car, knowing that this was probably not a good financial decision based on the car's resale value. At each body shop I had them quote all issues, asking where I was likely to get the most value. At each place, I asked for their thoughts on the tailgate, which had a center vertical dent as well as a dimple, about the size of a half dollar. Each responded the same exact way: Too expensive to repair, not worth the money. $2k later, I had the car looking much better (thanks N. Dale Mabry Carsmetics) the more serious problems addressed and the car looking almost new. Went on to have the rest of the car detailed by Wax Factor, where John took one look at the tailgate and told me about Ryan and ELITE DENT REPAIR. He said Ryan would take care of it for not a whole lot of $. Intrigued, I called. After sending him the images and providing me a quote of $180, Ryan and his assistant Jamie arrived at my house as planned. They were both friendly, professional and efficient. Ryan seemed very skilled and had a CAN DO attitude, a tell tale sign of a successful business person. About 11/2 hours later, he worked on the dents past the initial major fix (which I probably would have been content with) and continued until HE was satisfied it was the best it could be. He worked neatly and even applied a rubbing compound to the tailgate as a finishing touch. Cost was exactly as quoted, no suggestion at any time that it was under quoted or should cost more. The tailgate looks great, both my husband and I are pleased. Thanks Ryan, would like to think I won't need you again but I will sleep better knowing you're out there. Have no issue with the repair, my step son's car had 3 dents that were fixed in less than an hour. My issue was with the fact that the price of the service changed from what was originally quoted. I had a dent taken out of an Audi S7 two years ago and in comparison the price he quoted was high but he was coming to our house so we were willing to pay more for convenience but when he tacked on an additional 80 dollars, cash of course, it was a very expensive repair and not worth the money at all. My step son sent several pictures and was very specific, telling him in detail about the dents and where they were when he got the quote but all of the sudden the price went up when he got to our house, odd. He also only took cash and refused to give us a receipt after several requests. Why would a business change the quoted price when they had photos and an detailed explanation, only take cash and refuse to give people receipts? What business refuses to give a receipt for their work, just not a good experience all the way around. read more
