I recently needed my patio cover replaced. It is a 3-part patio cover that needed to be torn down and replaced. I reached out to several companies for estimates, with Elite Patio Covers one of them. From the beginning of the process Elite Patio proved to be the best and right choice. Jason came to my house to provide an estimate. I had two other companies do the same - with one company refusing to even give a quote due to the complexity of my installation. Jason followed up the next day with photos, and asking if I had other questions. Elite Patio Covers was the only company that did any follow up with me after coming out to give an estimate. This is what earned them the business - they proved they wanted my business. We negotiated a couple of details on my estimate. Tom and Jason came out to verify some repair work that I had requested, and we scheduled work for the next week. The tear down of my existing patio was quick and efficient. The installation of the new patio cover took 2 days. Overall I was pleased with the crew and the work performed. It took 3 work days to complete. The old patio was torn down on day one with everything cleaned and removed. The installation was two days and Tom the owner actually asked if he could stay a little late the first day of installation, and when he was done the work area was picked up of all debris. I waited a few months to write this review to see how everything stood up to the rain and summer sun, and it has met and exceeded my expectations. Tom was great, the patio cover was built on time and looks awesome. He also built it under a balcony (I didn't want to lose my balcony). I'm a picky guy and I'm sure they were fed up with all of the special requests and questions haha, but Tom and his crew met and exceeded my expectations. We got rain about 1 week after the install and it was water tight. It also keeps my house 5-10 degrees cooler not having the sun beating down on the back windows all afternoon. They did a GREAT Job!! Our neighbor used them first and after looking at their work and the cost we'd called Tom for a quote. We had a 17' x 31' Alumawood cover (slat/solid/slat) with 4 footings put in just before Halloween 2015. They also did the electrical installing a ceiling fan, 4 recessed lights, 2 post lights, 2 covered outlet boxes & 2 covered light switches. With permits & concrete footings it took just about a week to finish, but the installing of the actual cover just took one day. We highly recommend them. read more
