Once I was up and running, I started with this terrible pain running down the left side of my leg. I went to my surgeon; they first took a CT of the knee to be sure I did no damage, then an MRI of my hip to see if I did any damage to the replacement I had in 2006. Nothing. Both in great shape! Our nurse was nice but a we both agree she was a warm body. She thought after being with us for a little while that he was having a different surgery? Red Flags! She cleaned the wrong area for the surgery. He wasn't shaved until the eleventh hour. As we sat and joked around waiting... we overheard a lot of nurses conversation. I heard multiple swears. My husband made a comment about professionalism. He doesn't much comment about those things. His 'hospital' bracelet had a little piece attached to it that would sent me updates, which helped alerting me when he was out of surgery and could receive visitors. I loved this aspect.
