I initially had a frustrating experience with Elite Pro Appliance Repair Services through American Home Shield. My stove stopped heating past 350 degrees, and the technician's diagnosis "that the membrane was damaged from "excessive heat" rather than normal wear and tear" felt unsupported given that I had photographic evidence from my 2021 and 2025 home inspections showing the panel's appearance had never changed. I felt my evidence and concerns were being dismissed. However, I'm updating my review because the owner personally reached out to me to discuss the situation. she listened, took my concerns seriously, and committed to making it right by covering the repair. That kind of accountability and customer care goes a long way. While the initial experience was rocky, the owner's willingness to step in and resolve the issue speaks well of the company's integrity. I appreciate businesses that stand behind their customers when it counts. Hopefully this is a sign of the service others can expect going forward. To add to that, this is the only company with great reviews AHS has in their vendor list. If you get them you are lucky. If they were not one of the verndors, I was going to cancel my home warrenty. I've had nothing but positive experiences in the past with Elite Pro. This time around, completely different experience and the only thing that has changed is I used American Home Shield (AHS) as my home warranty company. The repair on my Kenmore washing machine was denied because the technician (Elite Pro) told AHS that I was constantly overloading the machine. For years now, I don't even generate a full load, so if anything, I have been UNDERLOADING the machine. Long story short, the repair was denied by AHS. This machine is 10 years old so I would think it is probably at the end of its life. The technician was in my house for just minutes, never shared anything with me about what might be wrong. He advised that AHS would get to me with next steps which I assumed meant that AHS would need to order spare parts etc. Instead, AHS denied the claim. I went back and reviewed other reviews of Elite Pro from other folks and found that there are lots of identical reviews! Very, very sad. It saddens me to see a previously good company that is now no longer reputable. I would not recommend Elite Pro. I've known and recommended this company in the past, I've left a msg for the owner, Ray, but am not holding out any hope of getting a call, I hope Ray gets his business under control and gets rid of his dishonest technicians and MOST IMPORTANT, Do NOT continue to work with AHS!! read more

We have an American Home Shield warranty, and have always requested Elite Pro Appliance to come out. Recently we had several visits due to our LG refrigerator's ice maker not working. He simply looked at the machine and then left, which is why I immediately had to chase down AHS for any information--because Danny refused to give any details and did not even wait to locate the model or serial number on the appliance. Your assertion that "the inspection revealed damage consistent with overloading or misuse, which unfortunately falls outside of what the home warranty plan covers" is, therefore, a claim based on a non-existent inspection. This appears to be a convenient way to immediately deny the warranty claim. I am aware that home warranty companies like AHS often only pay a low, flat fee to contractors, regardless of the actual cost of a large repair or replacement. It seems the moment the diagnosis pointed to a major, costly issue, you decided to extract an additional $180 from me by falsely claiming "overloading" to offset the loss you would incur from AHS's low payout. This isn't just poor customer service; it has all the hallmarks of a shady business practice. You were assigned by AHS, charged me a $125 service fee, and then manufactured a false reason for denial simply because the repair was too expensive for your business model. I will be reporting this incident--including the false claims, the ignored call-back requests, the broken Google Voice communication, and the attempted additional charges based on a fraudulent "inspection"--to the Better Business Bureau, and any relevant consumer protection agencies. First off I was provided this company through American Home Shield.. Terrible customer service! The service technician Danny is unreliable and unconcerned with customer service and very difficult to communicate with, very very difficult. And like another customer pointed out in other reviews on Elites Google search, they must be working from their home, talking with the woman on the phone was annoying with water running and a rooster crowing in the background! I would not recommend this business in any way as I was treated rudely on appointment day. Danny opened my refrigerator and told me he can't work on it because the ice around the fan hasn't been defrosted, like I was supposed to know what to do and failed! I can't even move the refrigerator anyway, it's too heavy. I had wanted to discuss my concerns and he wasn't willing to listen and literally just picked up his tools and walked out! Mind you I had to wait approximately 6 weeks for parts to arrive and another 4 days after scheduling an appointment! I really wish I could explain more but it would take days. We have a warranty through Old Home Republic. Our refrigerator ( a large built in) stopped cooling and OHR sent out Valley Appliance. They were horrible, I would give negative stars for them. I fought with OHR and they sent out Elite Pro. They are night and day different than Valley Appliance. Danny came out, he was super professional and today we have a working refrigerator. It took awhile to get the parts but that is no fault of the vendor, the warranty company had to order them. Utilized ahs warranty and was provided this company for fixing my refrigerator as the previous company (ada repair) was unable to fix my issue. Technician came out and said that next steps would be to order parts and they would be back soon. 2 weeks went by and I did not hear anything else, so I called warranty company to get an update. In 2 days I get a notification that this company was unable to diagnose issue and that they asked for it to be transferred back to ada repair (company that was previously unable to fix issue). Per AHS it is they just did not want to do the work. Called electric pro and they did not pick up and did not call me back. Went in with high hopes but very disappointed. read more

I contacted AHS to request service for my washing machine lid and the company they sent out a few years ago is no longer contracted with them. Unfortunately , they sent this company. The guy came out and looked at our machine and took pictures. He told my husband he was going to submit it to AHS. The lid is our problem. The hinge basically collapsed and it is cracking the entire door. The door has gotten worse in the last 2 weeks since I have been trying to deal with this aggravating situation. The machine is fairly new. Well the expert that came out and took pictures failed to submit the claim correctly siting the cracked door which yes is a problem however it would be clear to any novice that the hinge malfunctioned since the hinge innards are exposed and sticking straight up. It is difficult to explain but we have no children here. We are older , and we just open and close our machine to do laundry. It was normal use. I don't believe this company even fixes things. I have tried to reach out to them and left messages and I got some generated text letting me know to communicate with AHS. If my claim with my warranty company is being denied don't I still need my machine repaired? Wouldn't the appliance repair company still be interested in ordering my door and installing it? They have not contacted me directly or answered any of my calls . I don't believe they are or ever were interested in fixing my machine lid and I only wish they let us know this when they saw what our problem was instead of taking the $100 they collect for a service call . Was assigned Elite by Fidelity Home Warranty to fix a broken dryer. They failed to contact me, and even after leaving two messages on their machine on a Friday during their stated opening hours. Only after complaining to Fidelity did they make an appointment, but only for 4 days later. 20 minutes before the appointment, they canceled, proposing to move the date another 6 days. I asked them to make good by sending a technician that day, but they declined. They failed to earn my trust in each engagement and merely wasted valuable time needed to find a responsive repairer to fix the dryer for my family. read more

It was highly rated, so, I decided to go through this company! Totally worth it. Martin is amazing! He arrived on-site promptly and was able to diagnose the issue with the washer/dryer Maytag combo within 10 minutes. Unfortunately, due to the parts required, it was going to be a two week wait. We don't mind though! We're super happy that Elite Pro Appliance was able to figure out what was wrong with our Washer and Dryer units! The scheduling team was super friendly and helpful. Elite is contracted with my home warranty company, American Home Shield. Lucky me, I had my kitchen fridge stop working and within a week my garage fridge also died. I would give Josh, the service tech for both repairs, 5 stars. He's friendly, professional. I would give the actual company and their communication skills 2. They don't answer phones or email promptly but then will just leave a voicemail scheduling a time that they are coming out. And they don't work on weekends. Another communication fail took place when they were coming to fix my second fridge after the parts had finally come in. The office never bothered to tell me to defrost the unit for 24 hours before Josh came out. That caused another inconvenience as I had to reschedule the appointment once again. So to sum it up, yes, everything is working now. Josh is great. The office staff needs to get it together as far as customer service goes. read more

I don't usually write reviews that often but I felt compelled to write this one. Everyone always talks about how horrible the companies sent to do repairs by your home warranty are. And when I needed a repair on my dishwasher and fridge my home warranty offered me a few options to choose from. Some of these had 1 star. Some of them had 1.5 starts. Some of them weren't event listed on yelp. I was surprised when I was given the option for Elite Pro, which had over four stars. So I immediately chose them. And I'm happy I did. I called them at 4 pm and had a tech visit scheduled for the next day at noon! The tech's name is Danny and I hope he'll always be my tech for any future problems. He was polite, punctual, and most importantly knows his stuff. Upon describing the problems with my appliances he was immediately able to diagnose the issues. And HE HAD ALL THE NECESSARY PARTS TO COMPLETE HIS FIXES IN HIS CAR! This included a new motherboard for my dishwasher. There was none of that let me order it and wait two weeks bs that usually happens. Danny also explained everything carefully to me and went above and beyond to make sure I was informed and satisfied. He even gave me great advice to prolong the longevity of my appliances. A true five stars!!! read more

This morning, as a load was beginning in my washer, it emitted a very loud screech when spinning. I immediately shut it off and checked the internet, finding Elite Pro Appliance Repair Services. The serviceman, Danny, was at my home less than 3 hours later, not days or even weeks. After explaining the issue to him, he immediately had some ideas of the problem and got right to work. After talking us thru his examination, he had an idea of a what the problem might be ... from very simple to "not worth fixing". He proceeded with the simple idea. Once completed, he initiated a test run. Although the screech was heard briefly, the washer proceeded its process just fine. However, Danny advised that, although it was working okay, the screech would ultimately return and explained the cause ... and it would "not be worth fixing". I truly appreciated his honesty. He cleaned up after himself, we paid for the service call, he left, and I washed a load of clothes with no screech. We'll wait and see what the future brings and handle it then. Yes, I would absolutely recommend Elite Pro, and especially Danny, for your appliance repairs. I have a home warranty through American Home Shield (AHS) and Elite Pro Appliance Repair Service was assigned to service our Samsung Refrigerator Ice Maker. Elite Pro called to discuss the problem and to schedule an appointment. Martin, the repair technician was familiar with the Ice Maker Freezing problem and stated that he would order the repair parts. The ice maker freezing problem is well known and there is a class action suit pending. Samsung has issued a repair bulletin but will not provide any free repair if the unit is out of warranty. This problem was repaired 18 months ago by another appliance repair Company that AHS assigned but apparently they did not fix it permanently. Once the parts arrived a repair time (window of 3 hours) was scheduled. Martin the service repair technician called and asked if he could arrive earlier than the scheduled time. Upon arrival Martin wore shoe protectors and a Covid 19 face covering. Martin was professional and cleaned up thoroughly after completion of the work. Installation of the repair kit was very quick. Hopefully this is a permanent fix to the problem. read more

Horrible service. After KitchenAid sent them to my home to repair my ice maker the tech told me that I needed a new drain pump. He said that they had them in stock and that his company had repair techs in the area all the time. They would be back in the next few days. Over a month later still no repair or call from them. I finally received a call from them telling that they needed to make an appointment to finally come and fix my ice maker. TOO LATE GUYS!!! Very unreliable and unprofessional.
