Great service! Bought a new stove and it broke down after only three months of usage. Call the manufacturer and scheduled a repairs appointment under warranty. This company came out to do the repairs. It was super easy to get an appointment, they were able to come out within two days. The staff that answer the phones were all very nice and friendly. The technician was very professional and went to work right away to check what was wrong with the stove. He was able to isolate and find the problem right away. He needed a part, so he rescheduled for another visit the next day, and was able to complete the repairs. Very professional very knowledgeable. Great experience. Highly recommend. read more

Came in to disconnect appliances at the last minute. While pleasant enough, unhooking my Bosch dishwasher was not in his wheelhouse. When he left, sink had no hot water (and in a quick call to him, he said it was because dishwasher was disconnected?!?!?). Turns out two legs were broken and a third was bent out of shape. Juan came over this morning, I showed him exactly what was going on with the ice maker and water dispenser. He said he did not want anyone to be angry at him. I told him I just wanted everything to work again after paying for repairs, or if he could not fix it, I would like a refund so I can go purchase another refrigerator. Juan called the guys that worked on it and they showed up shortly thereafter. They took the panel off of the back of the refrigerator and opened the lines and then drained the feed from the R.O. Whatever they did fixed the water dispenser immediately. I am waiting for the ice maker to go thru a few cycles to see if it does not leak anymore. So far so good. Juan answered my questions and did his best to rectify the situation. If the ice maker continues its run of no leaking, we will be happy with the outcome. My reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is there is a tear in my flooring which they did when they moved the refrigerator. Juan is sending someone over to fix that. As I was cleaning out my refrigerator, the lights inside of it dimmed and it died! My husband called Allstate and a technician was at my house within hours on a Saturday. The computer in the refrigerator had died and he didn't have the replacement with him. We arranged a time for him to return early Sunday morning. The repair guy came out. Told him washer flooded the floor. He filled washer up and no leaking. He never moved the washer away from the wall. He said, "No leaks". Good communication skills. So, I said, "Well, then how do you explain the water on floor?" He said, "It MAY be the knob for water settings". He was a bit condescending. I said in order to fix, please call my insurance and tell them your diagnosis. He immediately said, "I don't deal with insurance companies". WOW! Abrupt and then I told him that they asked me to say this to him so I can get it fixed.....I had to walk away. And then he said he would come back with the part next week...I don't want this man in our home anymore. So I asked him, "So, I cannot do laundry or can I?" He said, "Well, just babysit the washer". With a smirk on his face...He never told me his name......This was the Henderson location. read more

had a technician come out to inspect our dryer that wasn't heating up. my wife went out to meet him and give him a run down on the situation. his first move was to pull out the lint screen (which we clean after each use of the dryer) and then told my wife that he had diagnosed the problem, to which he told her he would be charging her $225. my wife assured him that was not the issue, to which he said nevermind it's actually the igniter that needs to be replaced. this was BEFORE he inspected the dryer in any way other than pulling out the lint screen. my wife had to put her foot down and would not accept a diagnosis from him until he at the very least went behind the dryer to do a further inspection. by this point I had fully dressed and gone out to meet him as well. I mentioned there was absolutely no way that the issue was due to a dirty lint screen, as we always empty it out after each load and even used a specific pipe cleaner tool to stick inside and clean out any lint left inside the machine. he then began pulling apart the back of the machine and set up some type of diagnostic meter, to which he determined that the igniter WAS NOT the issue at all like he had initially told my wife it was. instead, it was a thermostat that was fried due to possible lint build up in the vents. he let us know that the thermostat would need to be replaced regardless, but recommended that we clear out the vent ASAP (a service they do not provide) so that we do not fry out anymore thermostats. he then quoted me $180 for the thermostat repair and the inspection, quite a different tune from the $225 he quoted my wife for simply PULLING OUT THE LINT SCREEN and literally not a thing more. since this issue has been bothersome for over a week now, we decided to proceed with the repair anyway. I should also mention that he damaged a coil while replacing the thermostat (he did replace the coil free of charge but did not reinstall it, and told us that whoever comes out to clean the vents can reinstall). he was in and out in all of about 20 minutes or so, and while his service was quick and he provided me with a lot of insight on the issue, he absolutely tried to SCAM my wife upon his initial arrival. had I not been home to step in and be a presence, I don't believe he would've done an honest job. like I mentioned earlier, the only reason we even proceeded with the repair was so that I could finally do some much need laundry, and that he explained in detail to ME (NOT my wife when I was not present) what the real issue was. after today's experience, I would never use Allstate Appliance Repair again or recommend this service to anyone. in fact, I will be telling others to steer clear. it's absolutely unacceptable for a technician to take advantage of customers because they are female, or because they think that they are unknowledgeable and won't know otherwise. not sure what the case was here, but extremely disappointed with this service. read more

I called this company on behalf of the business that I work for. I'd called late Monday afternoon and they came out the very next day. Our technicians were Mike and Mike! They were very professional and courteous. They arrived to fix our dryer and went way above and beyond what was expected, not only trouble shooting the dryer's problems, but cleaning it out completely, including the hoses and attachments. They even went up on our roof to clean out any vents and make sure that the vents were clear and operating properly. All of this and they were in and out within two hours. They were very efficient.
