When our home crested the 10-year mark, the age really started to show on the exterior. The paint was more than losing its luster and in certain areas, peeling off the boards Not to mention the unsightly gaps that appeared between each of board as if from nowhere. We interviewed multiple companies, but Elite was by far the most thorough and reasonably priced. I honestly had no idea what to expect, but when Joel Sackett and his team came out, not only did they caulk (fill the gaps) repaint, and add the new trim color we'd selected, but they repainted (sprayed) all the exterior doors (including garage doors and metal fixtures), as well as repainting the entry way to the home top to bottom. The job overall, is fantastic and the team was absolutely the dream team. Fastidiously neat, respectful, and complete and utter perfectionists when it came to their craft. Awesome work Elite. After contacting 3 different companies for estimates and recommendations, Elite Pro's was the best fit for me at the time. I also liked that they provided a follow up review after a year. The startup was a bit delayed due to the weather(rain) and their spring rush. Once it did start, it didn't take them long at all. I never actually met or saw the workers, I just saw the progress in the evenings when I returned to the home. The project only took a few days. I was satisfied with their work and went with their recommendations for the job. I was pleased with the end result. I can see a fake review from us about Elite Pro Painting. They painted our house last fall, and replaced some wood. At the end when they asked me to rate them between 1-5 I rated them a 5. This is the data I sent them at that time: "A couple comments about the woodwork that was done, and I've included a few photos - see the public album at: https://www.icloud.com/sharedalbum/#B0QGI9HKKE582Z The small pieces on the chimney... are not pretty, and facing the wrong way. Regardless, without caulk or paint they won't work. We will have to get someone else to come out and fix this. I believe there was only one gutter board that was replaced, but you used two boards to replace it (and charged for three at $200 each). Thad a conversation with Aliyah about the fact that the two boards were not even aligned. Wood guys came back out but instead of using one piece of wood tried to fix what they had, and you can see in the photo that fixing it required all those nails just to align the wood. Replacing the one piece is what was expected and would have been much nicer. The bird boxes should be one piece of wood. They are just so small that using more than one piece of wood makes it look like the work was done by a child. I'm sure you realize that the more cuts there are in the wood, the more potential for problems in the future, especially if they don't bother to caulk. We now understand why you don't warranty the woodwork. The (other company) is coming back out to complete the rake boards, with the appropriate flashing that rake boards require. It's too bad you all can't just paint because the painting wasn't too bad. To Dina: Because the foundation of the home is far more important than the paint, I have to give you a 2. 1 really hate to spend good money on a 2." Today, April 22, 2024 I added some photos to the album to show what the painters did to our lawn. Last fall they apparently cleaned out all their painting equipment there...just dumped it on the grass. It was more obvious this spring because even with the amount of rain we've received you can still see the paint on the grass! A couple photos are out of order, but there are two broad photos of the back yard to show (again even with the amount of rain we've received!) exactly where they dumped the paint. Then there are two photos of where the guy dumped the trim paint (white) and a close up of that area to show the paint. The next 3 photos are the close ups from the first two photos in which you can easily see the (light green) paint. And finally, there is a close up of the ivy along our front walk, where for some reason they cut the wood they were replacing. I thought Ivy came back up no matter what, but I can see that it's not going to work with this Ivy. I have no idea what to do with it and it's been like this since November. If I'd have known in advance they were going to dump the left over paint on our lawn and clean their equipment in our yard, I wouldn't have even bothered to rate this company at all. Exterior House Painting - 10/22/21 Overall, things went very, very well. Elite Pro Painting earned a solid four stars. If it weren't for some of the small details, the rating would have been five stars for sure. Regardless, we highly recommend Elite Pro Painting and following were the pros and cons we experienced. PROS First, our sales manager, Joel Sackett, was amazing to work with. He provided exceptional customer service from picking our colors, to walking us through the process, to scheduling the job. Definitely ask for Joel when planning your project. Second, Fermin and the paint crew were prompt, courteous and professional. Most importantly, they moved quickly, stayed safe (no injuries) and took good care of our property. We truly appreciated the care the crew took in not getting paint on the brick, walkways and shingles. Third, highly competitive pricing. We secured several estimates for this project and while not the lowest, Elite Pro was willing to negotiate a price we could both agree with. Fourth, Elite Pro's culture of giving back and supporting the local community was a deciding factor. More companies should be as active in the community as Elite Pro. CONS Windows. While the crew did a great job taping around the windows so as not to get paint on the brick, they did not cover the windows to prevent overspray from getting on the glass. Although it took me an entire weekend to clean the windows, it was nothing that some Goof-off, Windex and elbow grease couldn't handle. I just wish this could have been avoid from the start. Windows. The crew was also inconsistent in re-caulking and painting the caulk around the windows. The nice thing was that this was pointed out during the final walk-through and the crew came back the next day and fixed everything. Hardware. The crew did a great job painting the front and back doors. Rather than paint around the hardware, it would have been nice if they had removed the hardware and then painted the doors. read more

We hired Elite Pro to stain our privacy fence. They did a great job with the pressure washing and prep. They had a nice selection of stains to pick with various options from translucent to more opaque. The price was fair and they acted quickly upon hire. The fence looks really good. I like that they come back in a year to review and check for warranty issues. The two gentlemen that came and did the actual staining left a bit of a mess. Our hose was left off of the reel, in an unraveled pile in the grass. The tape they used to tape off hinges and handles was wadded up and left on the ground. There was other trash and boxes left in our yard. Other than the surprise left behind, we're pleased with their work. read more

I went into this with hugh expectations. It ended up a nightmare. The estimate was fair, and I was very happy with the time frame, but the day arrived for the painters to come and chaos began. The sub-contractor, Benny, promised to finish the en job in one day. I was astonished, because we hired the company to paint our garage, the bedroom and the exterior of our windows. By lunchtime the painters had only scraped the garage...then took a 90 minute lunch break. Benny had asked me--twice--if I wanted the bedroom doors the same color as the walls or the trim. I told him--twice--that I wanted them the same color as the wall, in front of the Elite Pro supervisor. Benny began second guessing every decision I had made about color choices. I do not feel that it is my job to supervise grown people in the jobs, and trusted, foolishly, that Benny would do as I had requested, b when he left at the end of the day I discovered that he had painted the doors THE COLOR OF THE TRIM! Also, our estimate was for painting the actual wood of the windows, but Benny assumed that he was only painting the metal edges of the storm windows. I had to set him straight on that, too. Obviously the painting job was not complete in one day. The next morning,Benny sent one of his non-English-speaking seconds to paint the bedroom doors the correct color, but was going to try to pull the wool over my eyes and paint them with satin paint instead of semi-gloss. I demanded that they be painted with semi-gloss, so he said he would buy the paint. His second removed the storm windows, and scraped an painted the windows, b when my husband went to look at the job, he found some windows had been poorly scraped. He tried to communicate with the painter, but my husband does not speak Spanish, and the painter did not speak English, so it was nearly impossible for him to explain. The supervisor from Elite Pro came by to address our concerns, and took photos of the doors to ensure that Benny would return to repaint them. Benny showed up at about 5 pm, walked into our house WITHOUT KNOCKING, and proceeded to repaint the doors with such an attitude! He was so rude to us. Then, to top a bad two days off, he told me that he would not rehang the storm windows! We had no idea when the window cleaning would take place, and we live in a neighborhood where bored kids like to break things, so we insisted that he rehang them. Heard yesterday that the windows were to be cleaned tomorrow, but that they would not remove the storm windows, and that only the storms would be cleaned. I was furious by then, and told the cleaner just not to come tomorrow. I had paid the invoice just this morning, and so have requested a refund for the window cleaning. Now, just crickets from Elite Pro. Do Not Hire This Company. read more

I was approached by someone while in my yard one day and he offered me a free quote on the exterior of my home. We set an appointment for Friday July 12th at 4pm. Friday at 4 Joel Sackett Showed up to my home. I told him I was wanting a quote for the outside of the home he tells me he will look around and email me a quote. I then ask to see color options and he says " any color is an option , except some colors are not good because they warp in the sun". (Soooo basically not every color is an option) I asked to see colors again and he says he will look around and send me the quote and if I choose to have it done then that's when I would look at colors. I said okay but that seemed odd because most sales people want to make that sale they want to sit down and tell you everything and want you to book that day. He looked around my home for about 1 min. He then got in his company truck and drove away. It is now July 17th and I am still waiting on the quote. Needless to say I was very disappointed for this to be my first time dealing with this company and will be looking for another company to work on my home. read more

We had the exterior of our house painted last year. We were initially happy with the service provided and the quality of the work. The only issue we had was the front door started to bubble within a few weeks. I called and someone came out to repaint a few days later. After awhile, that paint started to bubble again. I decided to wait until the 12 month follow up to have it repaired again. The 12 month was scheduled and unfortunately my schedule required it to be changed twice. Even though I cancelled the second appointment, he came and checked the work without anyone being home. He left paperwork saying that the check was good and there were no issues, so the warranty was complete. There was no mention of the door. Even though I had mentioned it when the appointment was scheduled. I have called and left messages saying that they need to come back and fix the front door, but there is no response. Bottom line is, just hope you don't have any issues because the follow up is poor. read more
