Scammers!!! Lady in the office is so rude and will hang up on you after laughing at you. I rented with them for a year as soon as my lease was up I escaped!! when I moved in the handle to the fridge door was broken. I didn't mind since we had our own fridge. They stored this one in the garage. After moving out they are trying to charge my for it!!! The carpets had holes and smelled like cat urine. Ac broke, heater broke, lights didn't work when I moved in and they NEVER fixed them. Do not trust them!!!! read more

Avoid Elite Property Management at all costs. We had an unpleasant move-out experience in June 2022, being charged almost $500 of cleaning fees after leaving a very very squeaky clean apartment (we're clean freaks: no pets, no smoking, no shoes in the house, no frying, no dust no parties...). Totally disproportionate. They will exagerate any speck of lint or smudge on a window in order to squeeze every penny possible out of your deposit. So, haven't actually rented from here but currently looking. Went in to their office to find out what they had and was welcomed with a nice atmosphere and free pastries. The lady I was talking to was very helpful, even when I kept going up to her every 5 minutes with new questions. She knew about the properties and even helped me eliminate some. She also even called the properties for me to see if they allowed pets when it wasn't listed. So wonderful service to at least find potential rentals. read more

If I could give this 0 stars I would. Everything you are about to read is true, and have all the receipts to show. So I don't even want to see this management team deny this. I rented a property from this place. A 2 bedroom duplex. Signed a 1 year lease. Now I have understood that sometimes maintenance may need to come and do inspections around the house or in the article OUTSIDE. Or an owner may request with notice to see the place. I received a notice on my door stating that a real estate person was going to come in to the dwelling I live. Owner was selling. On the notice it said that if I wasn't going to be home they would give them a key. Found that a little odd. Never had this happen before. I wasn't going to be home, only gave me 24 hours notice so already had plans. Couple weeks go by and another notice is on my door stating that 2 promising buyers were going to do a TOUR of the place I currently occupy!! 2 random strangers I might add! Again the notice stated that if I wasn't going to be home that they would give them one. They also texted me, So I decided to text them to let them know I would be home, so there wasn't any need to give them a key. Again this is all very strange to me as to why they would let 2 random people tour a place I occupy. I let the the property management know that I'd be home and that I currently work from home and will be working during that time. So I wouldn't have much time to interact at all. I had also stated that they need to be wearing a face mask when they come. The property management had stated that they could do a showing at 3:30 and asked if I could let them in after hours at 6:30 pm because they can't give out keys to units after 5:00. I told them I can only do the 3:30 and no more as I work during those times, they continued to be pushy asking me when I work and what time I get off. 3:30 on a Wednesday comes, Im working and doing personal work, and I was expecting a knock on my door for the people to tour my place ( again this is all weird and very much an invasion of privacy) Out of no where 2 people barge in my house!! Only 1 of the people is wearing a mask, so at this point endangering my health. They start going through my place, opening up closet's/ drawers. They are asking me questions about the place as if I was to give them a tour. They bombarded my peace of mind. I felt so un safe after that . I have no peace of mind as long as Elite property management does stuff like this. They gave a horrible excuse for an apology over text. I had nightmares after the fact. This company is so bad, the EPA has cited them for their practices. I would stay far away from them and the properties they represent. They don't care about you - they just want your money. The companies failed to disclose information regarding lead paint and lead-based paint hazards to renters, based on an EPA and U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development joint inspection. Beware of this agency. They seem nice enough from the start, but don't expect to get much of a deposit back. The preferred cleaning agency, Fenner Services, is the owner's sister. They do the inspection and "charge" for cleaning if you don't request an exit walkthrough. There is a huge conflict of interest here on many levels. I cleaned the place thoroughly and was charged for things I had done. As with most renters that had moved out and am settled somewhere else, it is a poor use of my time to battle this, but it is bothersome to be stolen from nonetheless. read more

This business is a complete failure and an embarrassment to even talk about. First of all they required a double discount based on the fact that we were young college students with parents as cosigners. This was a major red flag at first but being that we loved the house and the rent seemed reasonable we decided to proceed. Within the first week of living in the house, we noticed a woman walking around our backyard. We approached this stranger and found out that she was our freaking Landlord! Why would a landlord just walk into your backyard unannounced? The Property management didn't seem to care very much that our privacy was being invaded unfairly. Long story short; we ended up terminating the lease due to the landlords actions and not ours, we were allowed to leave within 30 days with no termination fees after a long struggle and countless hours on the phone with the management company. After the walk through and a month later, the management company finally decided to do their cleaning. When we got our deposit back along with the detailed list of what they had done to clean the place I almost keeled over I was laughing so hard. I mean it wasn't funny on how they literally had "dusted" the whole house along with "sweeping" the garage. This place is joke, the cleaning company actually has the same address as the management company. So the same people who take your deposit in the beginning are the same people who literally do every thing they can to clean the place and waste your money. Bottom line; these people are thieves and take advantage of students. This case is still pending and we're hopping to still receive more of our deposit. I want these people to know that they can't just take advantage of every student that walks through their doors. Not to mention the company is located in a dublex looking home that you have to walk through a gated backyard to a sketchy looking back door which is their dog-piss stained bedroom which they call their office. Terrible business practices, do not rent from this company. They tried to force us to pay a double deposit because 2 of the 4 applicants had 1 year of rental history instead of the required 2, which no one bothered to mention would be an issue before we each paid our $50 nonrefundable application fees. On top of that, they tried to double both the base security deposit AND our pet deposits, claiming that Oregon law requires it all be lumped into one deposit. I know an Oregon licensed property manager who confirms this is a blatant lie, and a very sleazy way to try to get more money out of tenants. After arguing on the phone with them about the deposit they did reduce it to a more reasonable amount. However, upon going to the office to turn in said deposit they handed me a form to sign, which nobody mentioned until it was in front of me, which stated the entire deposit (over 3 grand) would be forfeited if we didn't sign a rental agreement later, which we had also never seen. Extremely shady policy, it should be either partially refundable or split into a smaller "reservation deposit" when the amount is that high. Upon asking for a copy of the rental agreement to take with me for review, I was told that rental agreements are not allowed to leave their office because "other companies might try to steal them". Interesting, considering Oregon law requires a copy be given to tenants after it is signed. So they expected me to sit on the one wooden bench in their cramped office and read through an entire rental agreement, and I probably would have been expected to take their word for anything I didn't fully understand in the legal jargon as well. Fed up with the bs, we walked away, feeling relieved that we only lost $200 and a lot of wasted time to these shady people. read more
