Two days later, it stopped working again. We called him back, he came the next weekend and fixed it again, but couldn't tell us why it happened again, or how to permanently fix the issue. A few days later, it stopped working once more. So we called him again, he came a third time. Again he couldn't tell us why the microwave we've used without issue for almost 3 years was suddenly malfunctioning, and why his fix was not permanent. It's been extremely inconvenient to have to keep rearranging our schedules to work around his, because he 1) refuses to come in the morning, and 2) shows not one ounce of remorse about the fact that he's not doing a good job. If you have to do something three times over, then maybe try something new: consult a colleague, refund the fee. At the very least, admit fault, apologize and work with the customers to find a convenient time that works for both parties. It's currently the third time since he first "fixed" the microwave that it stopped working again, and I'm sitting here exchanging texts with him, begging for him to come before 10am on Saturday. He refuses, calling it "blackmail", and also refuses to refund our money. He's the one blackmailing us, refusing to come before 1pm because of traffic. Not another obligation, not a job, not childcare to figure out. Traffic. Convenience. I would never work with this guy again, it's been such a headache and he has no sense of proper customer service. We're out $350 dollars, and despite his 90 day warranty, he refuses to refund our money. If you can find another repair person, do it.

Reading the great reviews, it's hard to reconcile them with my experience. Maybe this change in…read moreservice quality is recent? Or perhaps my experience is just an outlier? In any case, this was absolutely one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had. Vinnie never turned up on time (promised to come by between 3-5, turned up at 6:30 or later, twice) , no update to say he was going to be late, did not fix the problem and left it in a half baked state. After repeated attempts to contact him I sent a text asking him to give me the part number that needed to be replaced so I would get someone else to finish the job since I had visitors staying with us and needed the DW fixed asap. . At that, he called back to say he was not feeling well (I told him to take care of himself and his family , just tell me the part number!) and insisted that he would complete the repair free of charge and refund money already paid, and if he was not well he would get someone else to come by and finish the job, and promised to call back with an update the next day - no update as of day 2. Waiting to see how this ends. But, as of now, my recommendation is to stay as far away as possible, Servue is not worth the aggravation. Update: he called (after I texted) to make an appointment for next day between 10-12. Next day he called at 11:30 to say he is running late, new ETA around 1. Did not work for me, but, looking at silver linings, at least he called! Saga continues...

The bad is they did not explain how they bill and later told me they bill by a flat rate. They also charged us a ridiculous amount of money for a nothing part. I later found out they marked it up 6x. When I wrote to inquire about the bill, I was given the runaround. Be careful and make sure you understand how much the service will cost before you have them do the work.
