Let me tell you about the salon... absolutely beautiful cleanly space! The staff is just so amazing they make you feel so welcomed upon arrival. They don't make you feel like they are rushing you to get in and get out. All of the nail techs are phenomenal! They all know what they are doing and take pride in their skills! My nail tech is Joyce! She is just hands down my favorite! That's just me being biased though.. I've been a client of hers for a couple years now. I've brought friends in with me that have seen the other techs and there was no complaints. This nail salon is rare to me, in a good way. they will do any style you want and if they can't they will let you know instead of stringing you along and leaving you unsatisfied. My boyfriend's cousin and i went here for a quick SNS manicure today! She had been here a few times, but it was my first experience here. My tech (I forgot her name) did an amazing job! She was very helpful and explained everything as we went. I got an ombre dip and they turned out amazing! We walk in and the man at the front said we have no appointment and it must be down the road. I showed him the text and email I received as confirmation and he said, oh, we don't look online. Uh......... He then proceeded to talk over me and said he would "try" to figure something else. Yeah. No thanks. Unreal. Update: I showed the man the text and emails I received from your company and he agreed they were from you but no one looks at those appointments. Take the option off your website if that's the case. Huh, I must really be missing something here. This was so not the 5-star experience I was expecting based on previous reviews. Perhaps I just don't enjoy getting my nails done as much as the other ladies of Gilbert. We came here on a early weekday afternoon, and it was packed! I counted at least 15 customers in the salon. The manager was very friendly. We picked out our colors during our short wait, and I was pleased they carried lots of Essie and OPI colors. My nail tech was bad. First, she had the water scalding hot in the foot tub. The pedi was on the painful side, and the leg scrub they used in an unmarked bottle seemed kind of sketchy. She was rude about the light color nail polish that I chose (because it required an extra coat?), and she made an insulting remark about my unshaved legs. Sorry, but I come from an infectious diseases background, and I'm not going to risk getting a bacterial or fungal infection from the pedicure tub. The manicure was bad too. She nicked my cuticles in a couple places, and the harsh chemicals used gave me a ton of hangnails the next day. She started filing my nails into a square shape without even asking my preference. The techs also ask for payment before the manicure starts which is awkward. If this trip to Elite Nails served no other purpose, it helped cement in my mind that I don't like strip mall nail salons, and I am better off paying twice as much at an upscale day spa. **update- I had to take this review down to one star after seeing what has happened to my nails after this manicure (see picture). I must be having a reaction to some chemical that they use. My nails are starting to separate from the nail beds. Doesn't look good. I've never had this problem with any previous manicure. read more

This salon is very professional and friendly. It's very clean, spacious and it smells like apple pies inside lol. I got a gel manicure and my nail tech Theresa was very engaging and nice. She was meticulous and took her time cleaning my cuticles. The Polish was then applied with extreme care, but the polish I picked didn't want to go on evenly and she showed no sign of annoyance and patiently asked if I wanted to try another color. She was the one who noticed it before I did which is great because I know she didn't feel good sending me out with uneven coats. We finally found a color close enough to the one I originally picked but a little darker and it worked! She was very lovely to have as a tech, I will definitely be back to see her next time as well. I paid $26 for my gel mani which is a great price compared to other salons I've peeped out. They take card and cash but would rather have the tip in cash! I wanna try a pedi next time! :) read more

I was so disappointed. I paid 50 dollar for my nails to look like crap. It was rushed work. My nails came out crooked not coffin shaped what so ever. I was expecting much more from this place but never will be coming back. As I was explaining my issues to the nail tech they started speaking in their language which obviously made me assume they were talking crap. IF YOU WANT A NAIL DESIGN--GO TO MOON!! Best nail tech EVER. Usually when I enter a salon wanting something with a design, or even slightly complex, I get nervous because I don't like asking for things to be fixed. But once I showed Moon the inspo photo, she made me feel comfortable and made sure she was doing exactly what I asked for. She's a very talented nail tech and a clear perfectionist because she had no issue going back and cleaning up her own designs. 10/10 would recommend--I've gotten so many compliments on my nails. They look straight out of Pinterest! Please go to Moon if you want a pretty nail design--you won't regret it. Looks even better than the original photos I showed her. My update on Elite Day Spa is ... I'll still go there for pedicures. It's the best pedicure I've ever had. Even though my nails look good there, my nail tech keeps slicing my finger open with her brand new file. I got over it the first time, but it kept happening. Tiny deep cuts like that are very painful, and it wouldn't be the biggest deal, except I have to go straight to work where it's very possible for me to get an infection with my profession. So I decided to go to the other part of Elite where they just do nails, a few suites down. The first time was great! So I booked again with the same girl. The second time, she was running late and took me 30 minutes late and did a horrible job. She didn't file off all of the previous color, so with the negative space nail design, you can still see slivers of orange from the previous manicure. My gel polish also chipped and peeled off 2 days later. I tried a third time and I wasn't happy because she didn't bring the gel all the way up to my cuticle, so when I walked out with a fresh manicure, it looked 5 days old. This is especially frustrating because my nails already grow so fast. I'm now getting my nails done with Patricia at Dolce Salon and Spa in Chandler and she asked me how long it's been since I've had my acrylics soaked off and re-applied. No one ever suggested I do that at Elite. The girls just take super glue and apply it under my nail. She said that's because the acrylic and my real nail are separating, and water can get in and cause bacteria/fungus. So...Elite's first thought is to superglue it. I've just come to the conclusion that a really good, attentive, and knowledgeable nail tech is extremely hard to find, and I finally found her (Patricia) at Dolce. read more

After a poor experience in the past, the business owner reached out via yelp and asked me to try again. I came in today and was greeted promptly as I signed into my apt. I chose my color and had the pleasure of having Apple so my gel manicure. She was delightful to talk to and extremely friendly. My manicure turned out good and I was very pleased with the customer service. Smells like incense which was very calming. Clean, well put together. Very happy to try this place again and pegging my first visit as a one off. read more

I went in here today for my first time. I walked in and the lady at the front was very kind and asked me what I wanted today and I told her a full set (acrylics). I signed a covid waiver form and was seated immediately. The salon was very clean and all workers had a mask on which I do appreciate. There was social distancing and masks and it was all together a very comfortable atmosphere. The lady doing my nails was Megan and she was amazing! I showed her a picture of what I was looking for and said she could do a design if she wanted. She took her time to make sure my shape of my nails was perfect and the length I wanted. Let me start by saying I live in Central Phx - I drive to Gilbert to get my nails done by Apple. She makes sure that you have exactly what you're asking for. I had requested stiletto nails the first time I went to this salon and was pleased but not ecstatic. I came back for a fill and was seen by Apple. She immediately knew my nails were not exactly how I wanted them. She said "I'll shape them for you and you will love them". She was right. I have gone back to her only for my fills. I've gone here about 5 or 6 times, and every time it's a hit or miss. When I get dip, it's usually pretty good, but they start coming off in about a week. I just went in to get a full set. I picked neon green, and the work is terrible. She used white as a base coat because apparently the color I picked was too sheer. She put 2 coats on over the white, and left it at that. It was so ugly, and streaky that I had to ask her to fix it. As she fixed it, she proceeded to tell me that I needed to choose a color that wasn't so see through. The color that I chose was not clear or sheer on the plastic nail. You could tell they obviously used a white base coat. The fact that she made it my fault made me very angry. She couldn't accept that she did a VERY poor job. And on top of that, none of my nails are the same length or shape completely. read more

Love this place! I've been going for a year now and haven't found a more consistent, profesional and quality salon like this one. I rarely make appointments and I usually get seen shortly after walking in. The nail selection is so beautiful and there's so much to pick from that I'm usually still looking through all the nails right before it's time to polish lol. At the end they give you a short hand massage with very nice smelling lotion, as well as a hot towel for each hand. Super nice touch. The place is beautiful and my first time here. I walked in early for my appointment and was told to choose my color. When the nail tech was ready she came over and was rushing me into picking my color. When it came to my colors and applying them, I told her I didn't like one of the colors on my nail anymore and she got very upset and started telling me she couldn't remove it because it had already been cured, she continued saying I should of told her beforehand. I advised her I wasn't happy with the color and she refused to remove it and fix it. This place isn't inexpensive so I wanted to get for what I was paying for. I have never had anyone tell me they couldn't fix something I didn't like with my nails. Very poor customer service from Kelly. As a customer who always tips this time I couldn't bring myself to do so. read more

Went to go see AJ today for a full acrylic set with a gel overlay as she was a referral from a good friend. I'm a hairdresser so I'm really hard on my nails, and haven't tried acrylic in YEARS but decided to give it another go since it's so strong/durable, and that look is making a comeback. AJ was wonderful, she was so gentle on my natural nails and shaped the acrylic perfectly! It was not the painful experience I remember back when I was younger!
