Really friendly guy. - Courts: Two dedicated pickleball courts with clear lines and well-maintained surfaces. Facility: Small but thoughtfully kept; regular upkeep is obvious. - Lighting & ventilation: Bright, even lighting and good air circulation make evening play comfortable. - Layout: The other half of the space is sand volleyball courts (hence the name), so you get a lively, active vibe without crowding the pickleball area. - Best for: Great for small outings or team events--ideal when you want a focused space for a group without the chaos of larger complexes. Love this place…read more I've been playing pickleball here for a few months and the courts are great. The owner is very personable and the people that frequent this place are very friendly. There are 2 indoor sand volleyball courts (with the GOOD sand) and 2 indoor pickleball courts with the outdoor court surface. The building inside is well lit and comfortable. Also there's a parking lot! This is a gem to have so close in Columbia city and I hope more people find and use it

We have had conferences with the coaches and have been very active during our kiddos practices and games. We never complained or raised a red flag and worked with the team and the administration - for instance last year when my daughters team did not have a dedicated coach for all of the year- we all just took it in the stride and worked with the coaches appointed- even though the girls have to adjust and learn the style of multiple coaches in one year. We were never ever told that our daughter was not doing well or would not make the team. Infact, we were always told our daughter is doing great. It came as a big surprise to us when she tried out for this year and did not make it. We were so confident that she would make it, that we did not even sign her up for try outs with any other team. Once we came to know she did not make it at East side, we scrambled and tried her for another team- so glad she made it cause she loves to play and this is the only form of exercise she gets. We are really disappointed that she did not make the team. Over the 5 years she had grown with the coach and the team. Her not making it is a bigger reflection on the coaches, the team and the East Side administration. It is a shame that East side, after 5 continuous years with them cannot create a player who can get selected in their own team selections. We are even more disappointed that we were never made aware that our child was not doing well even though we are such active parents- right there in the field for all the practices and the game. We could have ensured she got all the additional support she needed to do better- if she was not doing well. The icing on all of this is that we did not even get a mail explaining anything when we sent a mail expressing our disappointment to the administration. So much for sportsmanship and team spirit and enjoy and grow with the team etc etc!!!

It does not feel like a snooty studio that requires you to wear the latest yoga clothing to fit in. I also noticed that the studio is so clean! It feels much cleaner than other places that I have attended that may have dust or hair on the floor. Every time I go, its spotless which helps me not get distracted. As for the classes, they are physically challenging and restorative. I would highly recommend.

Yoga offers physical and mental benefits that I don't find in other exercises. Dora's studios give me that. When I moved from West Seattle I tried out a number of studios on the Eastside. I found a few that had the mindfulness of yoga but lacked the physical challenge. Others had the physical challenge but lacked the mindfulness. So I continued to travel to West Seattle from the Eastside. It was well worth it. AND now Spira has a studio in Issaquah! I'm so happy that my favorite yoga studio is closer to home!
