I arrived to shop here and purchase 5-6 slabs for my kitchen. The sales people were rude and incredibly unhelpful. I wanted to look at the slabs in person in the back which I've been to before and they now are saying they can't allow me back there. No one buys slabs without looking at the slabs. They just were being lazy and rude. I will take my biz elsewhere but what a waste of time and gas driving here. I will go to one of the many other slab yards to make my purchase. We came in to look at countertops, no one helped us, and my top choices were all out of stock. The reason for the two stars is because we were left on our own without any assistance. When we did decide on one that would work, we couldn't get a quote. My husband is a contractor, but they said they couldn't give us one because another contractor would be doing the installation. The installation contractor asked us to pay for the countertops directly, but I get that there could be a contractor markup so not a huge deal. This is not the reason I gave two stars. However, when we went with the contractor's other recommendation in Riverside, we had a much better experience! We were greeted, escorted around to look at options which were in stock, asked questions to help guide us, and they let us pay for the countertops on the spot. I'm so glad we made the drive to Riverside. read more

Edit: based on the response from the business owner that installation is not part of their service, I'm revising my review. The stone we purchased was quite beautiful and the store has quite a large selection and we would recommended any purchase. Stay away from Elite Stone & Cabinet! I ordered a kitchen countertop through my contractor, and it has been an absolute disaster. Their initial appointment was delayed by 2 weeks, leaving me without a kitchen for that time. The installers were extremely difficult to reach, ignored calls, and showed up whenever they felt like it. When they finally did come, they didn't finish the work. It took another 2 weeks to schedule a second appointment, and even then, they didn't complete the job. They promised to return the following week, but it was a no-show. Another week later, they finally finished, but then I discovered they installed the backsplash incorrectly, covering pre-wired electrical cords. We've been trying to get them back to fix the issue since 9/10, but they've missed 3 appointments, leaving me stuck at home from work. Now it's been 2 months, and the problem is still unresolved. Take your business elsewhere! I will be filing a complaint with the BBB. read more

I am extremely disappointed in the customer service that we received at ES. After long hours turning into weeks of numerous consultations, they coincidentally decided to switch our consultation prices on the day I came into pay for my full kitchen remodel. JADA was our sales representative--she was very helpful throughout the entire process, being quick to respond to each question I had via text message. I consulted with JADA at least 3 different times for an estimate, and got several price quotes--all of which ranged in between $12K - $15k. During our sit-downs, I discussed what my husband & I wanted, which were: a full backsplash, quartz countertops, new cabinets, and some standard accessories. Planning the remodel for our kitchen was so easy & stress free, but it wasn't until I came in to finalize everything. Today, I came with my husband to pay for the cabinets. We picked out a slab for our countertops; but when it came to the payment process, they last-minute asked for an extra $5K for full backsplash on top of the $14K we were just about to pay. How can they be off $5K on an estimate? I could understand $500; however, their excuse was because "I" changed the original plan. My husband was so upset because he had to take time off work, wasting 2 hours here. We also talked to TERRY about our estimate, and asked why it was so off. Throughout the times I came in, TERRY would be the one who would always approve & finalize each estimate JADA provided for me. So how is it that out of the 3 different times, they never caught this mistake? I understand that there might have been a big error. It wasn't until JADA tried to place her mistake on me, when I began to get upset. Making false accusations like "You wanted a mosaic backsplash" or that "we didn't discuss full backsplash at all" when we did is where I have to draw the line. JADA & TERRY were supposed to be the professionals at their job, catching these errors. Every time I received a new estimate, I would ask JADA if it included FULL backsplash, NOT mosaic. I have physical proof of her writing on my estimates, saying FULL BACKSPLASH. After her manager TERRY got involved, they didn't own up to their mistakes at all. JADA quickly refunded our down payment for the cabinets, and did not say a word. I'm not a difficult person, but a very understanding person when it comes to situations like these; however, they didn't even try to save this sale! Or more importantly, relationship with their customers. They could have easily tried to resolve the issue & try saying anything like "Sorry for the miscommunication." "Sorry we got the estimate off by $5K." "Sorry we wasted your time. I know you took time off on your busy schedule to be here with your 2 children." "Sorry we disappointed you, but if you change your mind, please let us know." "Let me know if there's anything we can do." "We are sincerely sorry" What was sooooo disappointing was we were super excited to get our kitchen remodel, and to do business with them today. It's sad to admit this, but if you can't even own up to a mistake on estimate, what happens if there was mistake or error during the remodel of our kitchen? Would they try to pin the mistake on the home owners? I suggest it would be best if you find better and more professional business elsewhere. I recommend going to 405 Cabinets in Fountain Valley, and speak to John. He is an honest, upfront, and true businessman. He will be sure to take care of you, saving you the trouble & weeks of wasted time. read more

Their floor has a nice set up . But it's too bad there So unprofessional, I spoke to two different people .. both giving different information so obviously some shady business going on. I came in with my contractor to pick out a slab, the one I wanted is out of stock until November. I was told we could pay first to reserve our slabs since they were already at the port and should be unloaded next month. So we went ahead and made reserved four slabs with our contractor. TWO hours later .. TWO ... literally TWO... I called my contractor and told him let's buy elsewhere because November is just too long. So contractor calls me back and says they will charge a restocking fee of 25%! Restocking fee ?! First of all they're not even in stock !!!! So I call them and the girl that answers the phone says oh no we don't have a restocking fee. Of course I am very upset call my contractor assuming he's playing funny business. He's very understanding and says he will call again and call me back. Well I went ahead and took initiative to make the call and Miguel answers. I ask about the restocking fee and he says he's it's 25% charge and the girl didn't know what she was talking about. So train your employees ! Please ! And educate your buyers about your policies !! So now what they heck am I going to do ? Definitely reporting them to the better business bureau for charge in a restocking fee on an item out of stock . How shady . read more

TERRIBLE! STAY AWAY! Their sales representative "JADA" has absolutely no clue what she is doing and needs to be taught how to professionally communicate with customers. She incorrectly measured the project by 2 slabs and left us with 2 mismatching countertop edges that they never fixed. Looks terrible! The day of the install the fabricators realized that 'JADA" mismeasured the job and left me no other choice but to buy 2 additional slabs if I wanted the job finished. How does a so-called professional mismeasure a countertop by 2 whole slabs? I gave them multiple chances to fix the mismatching countertop edges but still nothing. read more

Reasonable price for the stone, they don't have a large selection. I like that it was simple, and convenient.

We was recommend by Francisco come to Elite Stone, and he said just go there choose the color and pay for the invoice, and he will come to pick up and do the job for us. When we come there, both of them the male and female sit on the counter never say Hello. It take us 15 minutes to choose the color, my husband call the man, to ask the questions, he ignore, my husband call one more time, he comes we show him what we want and ask him how much for each piece, he said it is not for public, he can not tell us the price, we told him we knew it, we just come to choose the color and pay for it and Francisco come to pick up the order and we ask did you know Francisco, he said yes, but you have to call him, we call Francisco several time but no answer. Then my husband decide to call our general contractor to ask him if he had account with Elite, he said no, but I can open the account, and we can buy and let Francisco pick up (my husband talk with speaker phone on). So the man heard that, and he said NO this had to be Francisco, because Francisco recommend you here. We said our contractor just open the account so we can pay and Francisco pickup the stone and do the job. He said NO. And he also said they accept cash only but not from us have to be Francisco have to pay. We left the place and Francisco call us, We tell him what happen at Elite Stone, and he call Elite Stone and call us back, he said they want cash only and he going to pay cash. In the receipt Francisco give for us they charge Sale Tax???? What the heck is it, they sale for contractor only and pay cash!! DONT SAY YOU WEREN'T WARNED if your remodel goes wrong! The worst part wasn't the $5000 additional costs bait and switch they tried to pull off, it was the despicable business professionalism and malpractice Terry the manager on our way out, pair that with the expensive incompetence from the designer Jada that warranted a notice to all. What a waste of several weeks of our time. Bait and switch. I do not appreciate surprises at the time of payment, after given an estimate in writing. These shysters tried to slide the invoice over that was $5,000 more than what we discussed for weeks, right at the point of payment. We have what was typed on the estimate, and also hand written by our designer. They came out and took photos and did all the measurements the first day. From day one we wanted a full backsplash, it's on their estimates, and hand written as well by the designer, full backsplash with the quartz counters. After figuring dates to line up with other construction going on in the house, I take the day off to go make the deposit payment (which is everything up front minus $1000 btw), and after being there for 45 mins, and after I'm making payments on the cabinets, I spot the invoice that's at $9200+, versus the $4500 estimate they provided as we discussed. Then they start saying I might need to hire a cheaper contractor if I didn't like that price, right as their presenting it for payment. Wtf? What happened to all the happy up selling talks about how great their in house crew was? I ask what is going on, and Jada goes to the back room. Out comes some guy Terry who runs the place . Never seen this man before. And he comes out and says it's my fault for changing what we wanted. Huh? What was your name again and who the heck are you? I asked him what was he referencing when he said "our fault we changed"? His reply was that we wanted mosaic. Now I'm thinking this is some joke. I hate mosaic say what? It's on the estimates --full backsplash.! We shopped at 405 cabinets and stone prior to Elite , had the same exact request-- full backsplash. On a side note, we showed 405 the estimate from Elite, and well right off the bat the guy at 405 said there's something wrong with this. It's off. Any way back to Terry. For the manager to come out and accuse us of being at fault, when we have never spoke to him before, was beyond offensive. Then Jada flat out lies, and says the estimates were never with full backsplash! Ha! It's in YOUR writing. I told Terry he could've been a professional, a man, and apologized for any miscommunication and try to come to a solution. It was so weird how he came out and attacked us. IMAGINE IF SOMETHING WENT WRONG WITH THE REMODEL...Terrys practice is to blame the customer for their mistakes. They handed us our refunds and were basically like see ya! Me and my husband were looking for granite countertops for our kitchen, so one of our friends recommended this place for us and this is actually a brand new warehouse they have another warehouse in Pomona. Nice area, I really love their showroom, it's very nice and big. They have a huge warehouse which basically you can get what you need the same day w/o waiting for days or weeks like other stores. Staffs are very friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable, especially the owner Terry!!!! Very satisfied with their service, they will ask you for every detail of what exactly that you need and even drew a basic layout for you and explains how many measurements you need to get so you won't have to pay extra money for pieces that you don't need which ended up they helped us saved a quite good amount of money!!!! We're definitely gonna come back to this place again if we ever need anything for our house and for sure will recommend them to anyone who need home remodeling materials!!! read more
