Ok so we are renovating our home. Have spent endless hours perusing various home reno sites online for inspiration. We found tile that we liked for three bathrooms and started the search for locations to purchase the tile. Well, daunting cannot even begin to describe the task of driving all over town, seeking our desired tile. We visited almost every tile store in town, we live in LA but could not find what we were looking for (man, traffic sure is a b*tch at all hours of the day). So, we decided to visit "tile/stone row" on S. State College Blvd., in Anaheim. Should definitely have done this from the getgo but we didn't want to deal with the traffic on the way over there. Well, we went early on a Saturday morning and voilá, we found our tile in a few tile stores. Prices were different at each store. But the widest selection and definitely the best prices were found at this store. Sam Vasquez was absolutely awesome. He is knowledgeable and gave us the best pricing. We will be returning for kitchen and laundry room tile very soon. Oh, AND, they have a great selection of wood flooring too. We had already purchased our flooring elsewhere for a great price and we found the exact same flooring here at a similar price. We highly recommend Strictly Stones for your flooring needs. My experience with strictly stone wasn't good. I was changing our second bathroom countertop. They were nice when I went in to purchase the countertop material. But every thing after was a struggle. I had to call so many times to get status and follow ups. They fail to contact me when the countertop slab arrived. And making a delivery and install appointment was so difficult and stressful. I ended up hiring someone else to do the pick up and install. It was obvious they were not happy that I didn't go with them for the install. When I went to pick up the counter top slab, one of the person that brought out the slab was talking to the other person in Spanish not to help us load the slab into our truck, not realizing that I knew Spanish. I will not be going here for the rest of my home remodeling projects. read more

Bought several slabs from here on my contractors recommendation. We paid for all of them up front. Unfortunately our contractor became ill and we had to wait to pick up the slabs . Once we picked up we noticed one was missing. First they said they lost it and then they said the sold it to cover storage fees and if we wanted a new one we had to pay full price . No thanks I won't be back and neither will the dozen of contractors I work with on commercial and residential projects throughout OC. read more

Came here to look for some tile to use as a backsplash for my new home. I had been to 3 other places and found nothing. Was helped out by Christian who was so nice, knowledgeable and helpful. He walked me through the whole store and took his time to find me the perfect choices. He knew which tile paired with what colors and knew where to steer me. After about 20 minutes I was armed with samples to bring home to compare. A plus is they let you borrow samples to take home to see it in your lighting and house. I honestly dont know how this place sells anything. They have good potential they offer a lot of materials but the service or lack of is horrible. Walked around lost and no one helped me. And when I passed to the front there was just one man with another customer helping and a bunch of people behind him in a group gossiping, laughing and making jokes amongst them but never offered help to no customer. Very unprofessional to not even acknowledge people that are trying to buy. Two different days I went and both days same thing. I walked out and went next door instead. I got a bid from these guys for a shower remodel and they literally nickel and dime your for everything. Hot moping wasn't included in his main quote of $4200 among other things... who doesn't hot mop when you get a shower remodel?! Everyone else I got a quote from, that and other things were included in the main price. Their price was too all over the place and too much for me. Writing this review to remind me to never use them in the future. UPDATE: They called me 2x after I wrote this review telling me that they're professionals, and he called me "essay" before he hung up. For transparency this is the quote I got copy and pasted ,"120 sqft shower with either Tile or Stone floated, set and sealed "if stone",, $4200 (they said this was just for the labor). if decorative liner across $20lf. If hot mop shower floor $375. No plumbing, No electrical, No Glass door..if this estimate is within your budget come see us.... First off the product is product. You buy because of the people. Danny was great at the initial purchase: friendly and responsive. It was when I needed to get more tile, quickly (in about a week at the end of the project) there was a... delay. Sparing details, I called and requested. No response, I made a follow up call about a 5-7 days later and left a voice mail. About 7-8 weeks later with no response I got a call from Danny flatly saying I need to come in and pick the tile up. It's been there a week (over 6 weeks from when it was requested). To his credit, he sounded surprised I wasn't notified. Huh. Stopping buy to get said tile - now as spare - gone was the smile and positive interaction. FYI, here, I was surprised to find out that I could only pick up the tile when the sales person helping you is available. Not any of the other - three - sales people. So be sure they are there. In summary: If you know what tile you like and for an okay price, at least check this place out. If you only do a single, initial purchase, talk to the same gentleman I did. For the new flooring project I am using a different supplier. read more

I must apologize for having waited so long to post a review. Six years ago we did a massive renovation on our home. We purchased granite, travertine, and two beautiful murals from Strictly Stones. Thomaz was there every step of the way helping us pick everything out all the way to helping coordinate the pick up. Two years ago we visited Thomaz at Strictly Stones again for a bathroom remodel. LOOK NO FURTHER!! After stone-overload while going in and out of too many St. College stores, we found Strictly Stones and we'll NEVER go anywhere else again!! Don't go by the posted prices in their showroom, but ask a salesperson. (I don't know why they post higher prices but they do.) We almost left when the greatest and most caring sales guy ever found us. Tomascz (pronounced Tomaaz sort of) is not only loveable and fun but he listens to your wants, needs, budget and preferences so well. He knows every single tile and stone in the stores and he really cares that you're happy and satisfied. He quickly got us more of each stone/tile when re ran short and had them waiting for us! Tomascz is amazing. (I kinda want to adopt him and my husband wants to hire him for his company!) Because of Tomascz, the GREAT prices, super fast availability and the high level of customer service, we ended up buying tile for 3 showers and a fireplace! We're incredibly thrilled with the deal we got and especially the high quality of the stone. We chose some from the closeout room and some from the showroom. Seriously, the showroom prices were better than the closeout section sometimes!! Art (Arturo Navarro) is the best. He's patient, knowledgeable, quick to respond, and helps me and my mom get the best prices. We're remodeling our entire house and bought all of our tile and granite here. Another place quoted us $7-8/ a sq foot for travertine tile. We got a more beautiful version from him for $5! We saved almost $3k on this alone. He also gave us a great discount on granite slabs. From tiles to mosaics, he's our go-to person. Been Shopping there over the past 20 years...They have a good selection, and are friendly, yet have got a few orders mixed up. I ordered Andrean Cream Tumbled Marble and they delivered Andrean Cream at will call (which was a cheaper product by a few $$/Sf. at the time). My tile guy didn't notice and installed it before I got home to see it. When I let them know they acknowlwged their mistake as it was a waste/shame to see they installed the wrong color tile...yet never refunded the $/price difference and only told they will make it up to me "Next Time"... read more

These people are the biggest crooks and the most dishonest people with a lack of integrity that I have ever encountered. They charged me $1,697 to put 3 slabs of marble on hold, 10 days later I went in person and canceled the order, I was told they would reverse the charges. The marble was never delivered nor attempted to be delivered it has now been ONE YEAR and I am still fighting to get my money back for a canceled order of merchandise I still have never received. They come across as nice and friendly, but will lie and rob you blind, WATCH OUT! I bought marble on July 2, 2012 and was promised by Danny the salesman that whatever was mismatched or defective I could return. Eight days later I rented a truck ($300) and returned 270 square feet of mismatched and damaged marble and was supposed to get back $1,957, they refunded only $88.74 and promised the balance would be refunded later. I still haven't received any more of this refund. Fraudulent business practices, lying salesman, and dishonest owner . The first purchase of marble had mismatched and damaged pieces leaving me with not enough to complete my floor, I was convinced by the salesperson, Danny to buy more marble than needed (2 more times) to ensure I will have plenty to cover my floor to account for any mismatched pieces and told to wait and bring all mismatched pieces back at the same time and promised a refund at that time. This time I paid $360 for a truck rental to take all the mismatched marble back and was told I was never promised that. I still have 1,381 square feet of damaged and mismatched marble that I am still incurring expenses on in storage fees etc. read more

We had an instance were we had purchased material, only to discover that we were significantly short - and it was no longer being produced.
