The drivers need to be educated more. I was driving up South Gate and I was almost hit by a driver. There was maybe, at most, 3 feet between me and the car in front of me and they proceeded to get over and almost hit my car. Do better people, I know it's round up and construction is going on but this is unacceptable. You're expected to drive people around safely and that was not safe at all. The driver is always friendly and quick to arrive for pick-ups. The car is exceptionally clean and smells nice. Had a good run while using elite taxi but now after I asked what time they close I was answered twelve midnight and am not able to get anyone to answer the phone! I'm off of work and this is the dozenth time I had called for a ride home. I'm soaking wet and I have taxi tickets which give me rides for two bucks. I really hope they didn't get used to me calling around the same times for taxi tickets and two bucks if so somebody should open a more suitable and friendly taxi cab service. In all my years of customer service playing the part to satisfy your customers was the golden rule and the goal and task at hand. I feel I dont really get it here and their more about favortizm then any kind of business at all. My daughter was flying back home to Texas today. I had called the day before and asked that a taxi be at the bus stop and it was set up. Well, it snowed last night and the Kayak from La Grande to Pendleton was late to La Grande, and late into Pendleton. I called and cancelled the pre-set time, and tried to set another time, of which I was told, "Just call when you need us, we aren't that busy." I called five minutes before our drop off stop and was told it would five to ten minutes, it was 15 minutes. My daughter got to the airport and missed her flight. NOT HAPPY with Elite Taxi! She had to pay $400 more out of pocket to reschedule flights and won't be home until tomorrow. Not acceptable service. read more

I was offering free rides during round up week, not accepting donations. Simply trying to prevent drunk driving and keep people safe, when an elite taxi driver began to harass me. He took pictures of me, my vehicle, my license, and said to me "You could be a rapist!" He said I was breaking the law by being a designated driver, when in reality he was just angry that I was taking business away and doing it at no cost. Goes to show that elite taxi fares more about making a buck than they do keeping people safe. I have seen the way these drivers drive and it is unbelievable. ive seen them speed through school zones, run red lights, but people off, smoke and text while driving. absolutely disgusting behavior. read more

I will NEVER use this company again in life!! I called the cab company. I was told it would be 25 mins. After 45 mins I called back and a woman said 5 more mins. 20 mins later I called back because a cab pulled in to the business next to me. I thought maybe they pulled in to the wrong parking lot. Then the car pulled off and left me there!! I was told they were only dropping off another customer and "we will get to you when we can because we have a lot of "in town" calls and you're going farther than downtown". I was in town and only going 10 miles!!! After sitting outside in the heat for over an hour, someone finally told me they had Uber there now. They don't have set prices. They say they do but they don't. I came to Pendleton plenty of times. I've asked to be taken to Stanfield and their prices keep going higher. First it's 30 then it's 40 then it's 50.. in just 3 months. They don't have a real meter. I had this lady drive me all around town and she had only charged me 10. This is definitely robbery. They need their prices listed not just say whatever comes outta their asses. Also hella rude they want you to give them the money before take off. First off there is no damn rule about that!!! On multiple occasions being two exactly, I witnessed an elite taxi driver run a stop sign without even trying to brake and almost T-bones me. We called Thursday night and had a driver named Mike he was great. Friday we called again and asked for Mike, the driver who showed up honked 1 time when I opened the door he was already pulling off. We called back a half hour and were told the driver came and no came out. there are 2 levels to this motel. No 1 could have ran down the steps before this driver ran off. I am a senior citizen and may not move very fast but I don't need to be told to" Get off my fat ass" they are so rude. I will never call them again. How ever Mike you are GREAT. I work at a local fast food restaurant and one of our regulars is a deaf and mute man. This man wrote to me on a piece of paper asking if I could call him a taxi, so I did. The first time I called they said that they would arrive in 20 minutes but come 1 hour, no one came. So, I called a second time and when I did the person on the phone was extremely rude and demanding and estimated that the arrival time would be 10 minutes and ended up being 30. Its 2019, this company has a contract with the city to be the only cab company. That being said, they do nothing to keep up with modern times. You must call and arrange a ride. It was fine, car smelled like smoke, a little dingy and it took about 25-30 minutes to arrive. No meter, they only take cash and no rates are posted. Verify the price when you call. Driver was a friendly young lady. You should consider Uber or Lyft programs for the area. read more

We called for a cab, after an hour of waiting at the casino (when the guy on the phone said it would be 20 minutes)... we still hadn't heard ANYTHING from our cab driver or the company. This taxi company is far from Elite. Things in Pendleton are not going to improve as they have an exclusive contract with the city. It should be clear they can't keep up but they have no reason whatsoever to do better. More than once they've done their double fare rides, taking us totally out of anywhere we wanted to go to drop or pick up someone else but still charge full fare. The driver was on his phone which wasn't hands free most of the last ride. I asked and he said they have a waiver due to business. Sorry driver, may want to check on that because you really don't. If I am in a vehicle I don't want to pay you to do something I am vehemently opposed too. The drivers are usually polite, old cars but clean but if they want an exclusive contract they need to catch up. The town needs some competition.
