Went for my appointment which took 3 months to get, only to be told it was moved to another day. So only choice was to wait 30 minutes for tech to get back from lunch as I had a 1:00 appointment to see if they could work me in. Tech's approved working me in and Ellie then checked me in she was very professional and friendly. Jennifer the tech who did my test was also very friendly and professional. I have been seeing Dr. Jekot for 20 years. She has been providing mammograms, ultrasounds, MRIs/CT scans, and whatever I needed to treat cancer in both breasts. I have been coming to this location for my annual mammogram for at least 10 years, probably more. It is a very clean facility and all of the staff is most professional. The check-in process is quick, allowing you to sign the documents electronically and you can request a hard copy of the forms if you would like one. They will scan your ID and your insurance card. The waiting area chairs are well spaced out to allow for social distancing. Within a few minutes of completing the check-in process I was shown to the dressing area. You select a locker that has a key in it to place your clothing/purse, etc. and you lock up your valuables and keep the key with you on the bracelet. There are clean gowns in the changing rooms. One reviewer stated that you can't be over a size 6. This is untrue! The gowns are more like a poncho with no arms so anyone can fit in these comfortable blue cotton poncho/gowns. My technician today, I think her name was Jennifer, was very pleasant and professional explaining what images were going to be taken, etc. and how to stand and where to place my hand/arm on the machine. She tells you to hold your breath while the machine is taking the image, then ok to breathe. I think I was in/out with the entire process in less than 20-25 minutes! And I received my results via email the very next morning! I highly recommend Jekot Imaging for your annual mammograms! read more

Overall, this is probably a wonderful place to have mammograms, etc. However, it's very frustrating when the words that come out of the doctors mouth do not match the paper and the report that they send later. I have tried to call four or five times and all I can get a hold of is the scheduling place. I finally got a hold of a lady today that actually opened up my records and started reading them to me. I asked her if she was a doctor and she said no. I asked for the doctor to call me. All I need is about three minutes because this is a very very stressful situation and I would like to have three minutes of the very valuable doctors time. Just now, I received an email stating that they will mail my results to me. Worthless worthless worthless!!!! I have the electronic version. I guess I'm not important enough to actually receive a phone call. read more

After being in the high risk program, they dropped the ball and I went for over a year without having any kind of testing done. I was supposed to have testing done every six months and now I have stage one breast cancer. I will have to be doing months of chemotherapy and radiation after having had a lump ectomy. I am absolutely disgusted that this happened and could've been prevented. I do not recommend this place at all even though I have been going here for 15 years. I now see through a different lens after I was treated poorly by Elizabeth Jeckot herself, who yelled at me that I needed to leave my anger in the other room, when I expressed my dismay about not being taken seriously in the high-risk breast cancer program. read more

Do not go here if you are larger than a size 6. Their coverups are all one size and you will end up sitting in a public waiting room with other people with your boobs and belly hanging out, not to mention being forced to walk around the facility like that. I asked for a plus size cover up and I got the perplexed look and some half hearted searching. They finally handed me a gown that was smaller than the one I had on. The staff DID NOT care and also told me that there was no one there in charge and no one to complain to. Shame on you Elizabeth Jerkot for treating women so badly and publicly shaming them. This place also hasn't been updated in a long time. Bad 90s decor and sad looking. read more

I've never given a review before but felt so strongly that I wanted to come on here and share my experience. I had a bit of an issue with a mammogram and another place did my mammography sending me for an ultrasound because I had two lumps. As you can imagine, you get just a little nervous about things like that. Well I chose to go to Dr. Jedot because I had heard of other people that really liked her. She made a special point to call and tell me about the things that she had reviewed after they sent all my records to her. She went above and beyond and went out and got my records from 17 years ago. When I came in she was so kind and wonderful. She explained to me that those lumps had been there 17 years ago in my other mammograms that she had looked at. She let me know there was no call to have a biopsy and put my mind at ease. It is such a wonderful feeling to find a doctor that you trust. From this point forward I will go nowhere but Dr. Jedot for my mammography or any other issues. She has experienced breast cancer in her life and she is so personable and I can't say enough about what a great person she is and I have no doubt wonderful doctor. If you are in search of a doctor that you feel comfortable with and you can trust please call her and go and see for yourself. Her entire staff is very professional and her office is run wonderfully. I have such peace of mind now knowing that I have found a great doctor. read more

Great experience. Let's face it - this is not something you look forward to. The staff - front and back office - were very professional. Follow up was rapid and communications were clear. On my follow up visit I met with Dr. Jekot who was friendly, sympathetic, and reassuring. My first appointment was messed up by scheduling. The clinic staff fitted me in without a fuss, which I appreciated since I was already a little anxious. I also heard them on the phone making the scheduling supervisor aware of the issue. Stuff happens, I like that they dealt with it and followed up to try to make sure it didn't happen again. I have not been good about my annual. No judgement, just encouragement from Dr. Jekot and her staff which I again appreciate. Definitely will use the Jekot Breast Imaging Center for my annual check up next year. read more

Jennifer the Tech was great -- a huge improvement over the witch with a capital "B" last year. Everybody was pleasant this time. I was so frustrated by the never-ending phone calls and emails telling me to make an appointment when I already had an appointment that I had made up my mind to switch to another imaging place, even though I had been with Jecot for many years. BS&W was hounding me to make an appointment but they didn't have any appointments for two months! I still may switch. I don't need to be harassed with emails and phone calls when I've already made an appointment. read more

This is a scary place to be for a follow up, but it didn't have to be. Everyone is so helpful and patient and positive. I also got the loveliest reminder letter for my next follow up from Dr. Jekot, a cancer survivor herself. My results were immediate too. No scary waiting time. I visited this center for an annual mammogram. It was my first so I honestly don't have anything to compare. The staff was very friendly and courteous. They took me back for my appointment on time. My technician knew it was my first time and she explained everything thoroughly and professionally. I was referred to Dr. Jekot by my regular OBGYN after experiencing breast pain on and off for a few months. It can be daunting to go to specialist when it comes to cancer but my experience could not have been better. I am in the hospitality industry and know customer service when I see it. The entire staff was knowledgeable and made me feel comfortable, even at 4:30 in the afternoon. Before, during and after the sonogram, Dr. Jekot ensured me that I was in good hands. She immediately made me feel like I was family! Again, all of this personal attention even at the end of the day! I have been seeing dr Jekot for four years after a lump was found at a routine mammogram in a different radiology facility. Having a mother and sister who both have had breast cancer, I was nervous to say the least. My MRI determined no cancer, but certainly something to watch. It was also determined that the previous facility had missed the lump in prior scans! I now see dr Jekot once every six months rotating mammograms and MRIs, and am still cancer free thank goodness. After EVERY visit I receive a personal "all's clear" phone call from Elizabeth, followed by a lengthy letter of findings and recommendations. She has personal experience, a highly trained eye, knowledge of genetics, a fantastic staff, and an incredible personal touch. If money is an issue asking up front is advised wherever you go, but you won't find a better radiologist than dr Jekot! She's worth every penny!!!!! read more

I will recommend Dr. Jekot to every woman I know! Two of my trusted, long-time doctors (OB & Breast Surgeon) tell me they consider her "the best" in her field. Dr. Jekot did my diagnostic sonogram herself. She was so professional, caring, and actually spent time with me talking afterward re: what might be causing my benign symptoms. I love Dr. Jekot and her office. She's a fantastic doctor. HOWEVER, thanks to her affiliation with Baylor, her business practices have changed and THESE I do not love. I was referred by my doctor for a mammogram and sonogram. I have had them before in Dr. Jekot's office and thought nothing of it. The last time they tried to make an appointment for me (I say tried because I didn't go thru with it), they told me on the phone when they made the appointment that it cost me about $100. This time, no one said anything about cost when I made the appointment so I, again, thought nothing of it. Imagine, then, my surprise when I received a bill for over $700! It's pretty obvious that her office KNEW it wouldn't be covered by my deductible because Baylor did not one, not two but THREE credit checks --the first the day they called me to make an appointment,and the third the day OF my appointment! Apparently they think if you have good credit and they don't tell you in advance, you'll just quietly pay. My primary care doctor is aware of this and is no longer making referrals to her office because of these kinds of surprises (apparently I wasn't the first). I have sent letters to Baylor and to Dr. Jekot's office. Jekot's office just defers to Baylor and Baylor insists I pay. I am referring the matter to the Texas Attorney General's office, which while that may not do any good, will at least make me feel better while I refuse to pay the bill. Like I said, Dr. Jekot is a great doctor but be warned --especially if you've gone to her previously -- it's going to cost you a LOT more now and they won't tell you that before the fact! read more

I love Dr Jekot; however, since she joined Baylor, beware of billing issues. I moved and her Baylor billing dept couldn't get my address right. This resulted in having 'dead' bills being sent to a very old address. Instead of calling me about my balance of $25, they reported me to a collection agency. On top of that, this impacted my credit report, lowering my credit rating! And - ready for it - this happened twice over 4 years. After the second time, I picked up my records and switched doctors. Calling the Baylor billing dept is useless - impossible to get hold of anyone and when I finally did, they hung up on me numerous times. Re: Dr Jekot - she called me personally about this issue - she is a lovely person and a great doctor, but unfortunately, Baylor billing is terrible, awful. Dr. Jekot was referred by my breast surgeon after my mastectomy for my follow up mammograms. Her kindness and professionalism is over the moon! She is so personal, and as a survivor herself, very symphathetic to what I was going through. It's been 6 years! It is a very comfortably place from the moment you walk in and are greeted by the front desk staff and the technologists that perform your mammograms are sooo nice.I have gone here for years for my mammograms, I had never met Jekot until two years ago when I failed my mammogram. I returned for an ultrasound which she personally does, so that you have results immediately. I recently failed another mammogram and had an ultrasound with her, of which resulted in the need to schedule a needle biopsy. Kim explained everything in detail before and made sure I was knowledgeable about the procedure and steps to take for the best possible post procedure care. I was nervous about the procedure, but on arrival Stacy explained everything in detail and Dr. Jekot speaks with you in detail before the procedure. Their bedside manner and skill during the procedure was exceptional and surprisingly pain free. Amazing for everything I had heard about a needle biopsy. Pathology results are expected in 1 business day, 2 maximum. I received a call from Dr. Jekot at 10:30 the next day to explain my results (benign) and to see how I was doing. Dr. Jekot and her staff are amazing! Absolutely the most exceptional medical experience I have ever received, I would never go anywhere else. read more
