To our son, he is "Mr. Sean," and "he is really good at cutting hair"! At the time of writing, a kid's cut, including a wash, costs $3 more than Kidsnips, and while they may not have the flashy TVs or toys that other child-focused haircut locations offer, Mr. Sean is extremely patient and quick with our son, which is a huge plus, and he is also very detail-oriented- we love our son's hair at the end. For adults, Sean does a great cut too, and is always very detailed with his styling. Logistics: - There is a seating/waiting area that my son sits and can read books at while I get my haircut (we bring our own books). It is typically on the quieter side which is nice for those looking for a quieter environment. - They are appointment-only, made by phone call. Sean's days off are Wednesdays and Sundays. Saturdays tend to book quickly, so try and call about 2 weeks in advance if you are looking for a weekend date. - We usually show a picture of a previous cut as a photo reference. Highlights: - Mr. Sean is respectful, willing to listen to to our son, and was also ok with him running around and exploring while I was getting my haircut (which is a huge plus for an already anxiety-ridden mom [a.k.a. me]; envision a toddler running around in circles and asking a ton of questions about the haircut). - There is a "treat jar" for kids with an assortment of sweets for a job well done :) (My son's primary focus of our visit)

Brianne was very friendly and has great customer service skills - she was very detail oriented and cut my hair exactly as I requested. From when I stepped into the store and paid, it took about 30 minutes. Very quick, easy, and efficient. Love it. All for $36 + tip, a grand total of $41.40 which isn't horrible, but if you're on a budget, you can probably can get a cheaper haircut. This store rents out booths to the stylists, so definitely make sure to book your appointment before you go. Probably a very low chance that you'd find one sitting around waiting for a customer.

Just the natural lighting gives the salon an entirely different feel! The colorists are extremely friendly, and greet me by my name. They talk to me. I don't feel like an inconvenience who has walked in the door who has interrupted a gossip session. I have had two colorists, and each has done a lovely job with my color. She charged me the full blonde session (balayage) fee plus $50 toner although I only had the partial balayage and it was okay for me. But to my surprise, when I was paying, she charged me another $90 for the extra products which she said 3 bowls of extra dye because my hair is so thick...what? I went to some hair salons & I was never charged for that plus my hair is not that thick! I was so disappointed of her. She charged me $421 (including my $79 deposit) less the root touch up coz I decided not to have it anymore. I felt like I was taken advantage. Will never go back! ***Response to the owner: You didn't discuss about the extra product that is $90! You only told me when I was about to pay. Yes, I decided not to have the root touch up anymore and was hoping I will pay less but I ended up paying more because of your extra charge. The partial custom blonde session you charged me $202 + $79 deposit = $281. I know toner is included in the price. The extra product you clearly said because my hair is so thick. My gray hair were still visible and to the point that I went to the other salon to have it root touched up coz it looks bad...that was my bad coz I decided not to get it but hoping root smudge will help. Anyway, my main complaint is the $90 extra product which you clearly told me was for the "3 bowls" of products which I understood for the extra color. Over all, I was not satisfied of your service.
