I love everything about this place. My go to spot to try a new beer or two and grab a few bottles to take home.

This is a nice place to kick back and drink a few beers every now and then. Everyone is nice and I can usually find a beer to drink. I used to go there quite a bit, but now the prices are a little outrageous, and I keep my distance unless I need to have something they are offering. For anything that isn't an annual offering, they will squeeze you for every ounce. You will find more reasonable prices at Mckay's, Green Frog, Copper Hog, Kulshan, and Boundary Bay. If you are going to buy a bottle of anything rare or anything that is an annual release, stay away. There are cheaper places around town. Just ask anyone that works there :) read more

You can't beat the selection they have at Elizabeth Station. Every time I go in I can't decide what I want, but the staff seems happy to help me out. What can I say...if you are a beer lover, this is the place for you. Hands down the best and largest selection of brew that I have found in Bellingham so far. Lots of choices on tap and tons of selections of bottled beer - some stuff which is hard to find in other places. The nachos are seriously good, too. Love that there's a little market in there with candy, snacks, cheeses and more. And a cereal bar! Very cool. Also have a few cool shirts for sale (not just their branded but Fremont gear etc) Place is not real large and gets crowded fast especially after work or on the weekends. They've managed to make a place to go have a beer that makes you want to come back again and again. This place is great for stopping in, bumping into people you know, getting recommendations from the staff, who somehow all appear to be really friendly and knowledgeable, and just hanging out. There's a bunch of places you can grab a beer, but this place is cooler. They'll also fill your growlers, and all tap beers pints are the same price, (at least as of the last time I was there). read more

Oh how I love Elizabeth Station. Everything about this place embodies the spirit and culture of Bellingham. From the local watering hole, community feel, to the massive selection of canned and bottled craft beer, cider and wine, to the many rotating local taps, this place is one of a kind! My wife and I moved out of town for a year and every time we came back to Bellingham for a visit we made it a priority to stop here and order a drink. Prices are excellent on drinks, they have panini and sandwich options during lunch time and a great option of candy and snack foods. Seating is great and they have a fun outside patio for those rare Bellingham sunny summer evenings. They also have rotating food trucks that park right outside their shop so if you're feeling a little hangry during your drink go out and grab some delicious local Bellingham cuisine! This place kinda has it all...great beers on tap always that rotate, Sour Beer Mondays (where a sour beer is on tab or two every Monday), cereal bar, very pet friendly, some good simple good, and also a store. Fun place, really nice staff. I just grabbed and ran, but looks like it's *very* popular. I liked the little seating area in the back--good for the introverts. I'm not a beer drinker, but they have a pretty great cider collection, though missing quite a few key local and Canadian players that maybe are just too hard to import (I volunteer to smuggle it for you (jk!)) My one kvetch-- not everyone who drinks cider is doing it to avoid gluten. Don't lump us in with those folks and their issues back in the corner. Cider is an artform all of its own, like beer, and there is amazing variety, craft, history, and even a decent local showing. Celebrate it and throw that gluten free crap away. :p read more

A great little brewpub/ bottle shop that opened up in an old minimart spot near downtown Bellingham. I moved to Seattle before it opened but always stop by when I'm in the 'ham. Multiple coolers of microbrews, imports, wine, bargain priced beer and cider, hot and packaged snacks and a walk in fridge with kegs and packs for sale, with a selection that rivals the biggest Seattle stores. Lots of different styles on tap, with coffee and a section for kids and dogs to hang out. Coffee and cereal are also available. A must visit. read more

Elizabeth station is awesome. They have a huge selection of beer and cider. For wine they have a ton of things you can normally only find in restaurant. They have a gummy candy bar which I ate way too much of and really good looking nachos. Lots of beers are on draft and easy to sample. The ambience is great and super fun. They even have bike themed tables out front. read more

I like the atmosphere here, for me it's social, yet laid back. I like coming here from time to time on weekdays and before 6pm! It's pretty cool that they have personal mugs for people who who frequently go there ( makes it feel like a modern day cheers). I bring my 5 year old while I enjoy a beer or two! read more

I can't believe it took me so long to discover this place! From the outside, you'd expect an upscale local mini-mart. Inside is, HANDS DOWN, the best selection of beer in town and probably between here and Seattle. A wall of singles and tall boys from around the world and local micro breweries. Literally hundreds of varieties. Knowledgable staff to guide you through it. My only complaint is that it needs to be called something like "Elizabeth Station Specialty Beers" because I had no idea what it was until I stopped in to buy a pepsi and walked out with a Hop Juice from Left Coast and a Brasserie de Rochefort from Germany. Great place to grab a beer, but watch out on crazy nights. If you're there for the fun, it's a great time. If you are there to get "in and out" with a cool purchase. Skip! I want to give Elizabeth Station five stars because it is amazing, but they are lacking one product that could launch them into Northwest Coast fame (at least, in my books)...espresso-based drinks! They have everything else I love in the world: rotating craft beers on tap, a cereal bar, a broad range of candy, and one of the largest canned and bottled craft beer selections in the Pacific Northwest. However, they only serve filtered coffee, which is a bummer. Before I was lucky enough to explore Elizabeth Station myself, a friend from Bellingham had difficulty describing the store to me: "It's essentially a convenience store, except the proprietor has dedicated 80% of his inventory to delicious, rare beers and meads from the West Coast. Like, you have to look hard for things like milk and bread because there is so much friggin' beer everywhere." He did an okay job of describing it, but it is hard to understand how exceptional this place is until you experience it for yourself. Best beer selection in the B-ham. Tap beer rotation makes it possible to try a new beer every day. Nachos and chicken chili are very good. I have been to Elizabeth Station multiple times because I always want to give their unpleasant customer service a second, third, fourth chance. This will be the last time I give them my business. One particular employee has been consistently rude, inconsiderate and condescending to me every time I am there. When I ask for suggestions or a small sample in a polite and positive manner, he scoffs and acts as if I am not worth his time. This same employee also approached and belittled me because I was unaware of a rule regarding beverages in cans. Instead of offering to help in a friendly manner, he told me his hands were full and I need to handle it myself. I am extremely sad that I went out for a night to relax after a hard week and left ES feeling disregarded and angry. Get over your pretentious, biased perspective on beer and the customers who can enjoy it. read more

Awesome!!! There is so many beers, wines and ciders to choose from its so cool I didn't know there was so many. They have some on tap you can grab a seat and have a drink there friendly and helpful with any ?s. You can buy individual which is nice so you can try different brands/flavors I love that so I'm not getting a ton of one and then I don't like it possibly. They have food and support a lot of other local businesses and sell there products which I think is really cool and shows that there a good business that they will bring in others products and not make it all about them there willing to share and support others in town I highly respect that! If you haven't been I suggest checking this place out you will love it! If you have been I suggest going back and if you have been and are unsure I think you should give it another chance they are and do a great business! read more

The beer selection at Elizabeth Station is something that everyone must experience for themselves. Fantastic neighborhood place.

Ordered a 1/2 ham and cheese Panini and a cup of soup. I was late for a meeting so i took it to go. They ended up charging me for a full sandwich. The Panini was OK nothing special. They used sliced white bread instead of a better and traditional Ciabbata or similar. I was surprised when i opened the soup container and it was less than a 1/4 full. I called them and told them i was surprised at the small portion considering I spent $12 on a sandwich, cup of soup and a small bag of chips. I was told they only have one size of container and that's the amount of a "cup" . I actually poured the soup into a measuring cup and it was less than 5 oz.. NOT GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY! read more

A group of us went to Elizabeth Station for an after office work party. We had the new private wine room which was beautiful and set apart from the rest of the place, but still accessable. Some of the food was already set out when we arrived, an amazing cheese tray, fresh fruit, crostini and dips and lots of WINE which was poured by a very nice and professional wine rep. As we dug into the munchies, Gus brought out wonderful barbequed short ribs, crostini and sandwiches, at just the right times. The environment was fun, the people and wait staff friendly, and the beer selection was out of this world! Gus and all the staff went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and taken care of. We all had a great time and would definately return, either as a group or individually! Elizabeth Station is a Bellingham hot spot not to be missed! read more
