I love this place. It's about a block from my house, which is dangerous for my finances, it's so tempting to go all the time! The selection of beer and cider here is huge. It's fun just to look through all the different kinds! They have fridges with bottles and cans, and beer on tap too. They also have a nice wine and mead section in the back. They cater to all budgets, you can get anything from a $1.50 can to an upscale bottle. They always have a food truck here. So far I've only ordered the fries topped with chicken tenders, ranch and cheese. Yes it is as delicious and decadent as it sounds! Every night of the week this place is crowded, I like it though, it puts out a fun, welcoming vibe. Love this place they had the newest food truck in bellingham called Big Trouble Truck and we had been wanting to go try it as well as enjoy a drink..we ordered our food and came in it was quite busy but they were great at being fast in helping the customers zoom through the line..i had a Rose and the hubs had an IPA we got seats in the play area they have for kids which was great since we had our kiddos with us they were thoroughly entertained with the books and puzzles..i like how cozy this place is and how great the staff is we will make this our hang out to ride our bikes to! read more

Elizabeth Station stands alone. Hands down. How? To start, it's in a category all of it's own. Wall to wall selection of beers, wines, ciders, beverages big and small- popular cult classics to obscure "war starting" small batch companies. (I start the war personally with anyone who runs off with my Snowdrift Cider. Try me. I dare you.) The Station hosts huge beer nights, seasonal tastings, special release casks and even singing at times. There are huge tables for eating from their rad cereal bar, their nachos, chips or making new friends while sipping on a brew! Wine drinkers or small glass starters beware- they don't care your if your ounce-age is smaller than a regular glass...you only get three drinks. And they'll split a bottle into multiple drinks if it's too big. SO DRINK OFF TAP AND TAKE HOME THE FRIDGE GOODIES WITH YA, MATE! On that note, they have 14+ taps and specials always rotating. They're happy to let you taste and try until something hits you. Definitely high on the service element too- they'll help you search, google or rummage through their stock to find your perfect bev. With the addition of their new Cidre room (cider and wine ON TAP TOO), there is a little more space and for sure better gluten free drink options. Been meaning to hit the Elizabeth Station for a while. Was happy we finally had a chance to do so! We arrived on a Friday evening around 5 PM and it was pretty packed. The beer selection on tap is excellent, and they had wine, which made the wife happy! We were underwhelmed by the food. The descriptions on the menu just didn't match what actually made it to table. The Plants Platter ($10) had some dried (fried) kale, broccoli and sweet potato spirals. The description - 'roasted, fried & fresh seasonal vegetables served with an herbed cashew cream.' Best part of that was the herbed cashew cream. We ordered the sweet potato spirals separately, so it would have been nice to know that the primary item being served on the Plants Platter was something we already ordered! The pork larb lettuce cups tasted great, with a mix of peanuts, cucumbers, basil and mint. But they probably used 1 Butter lettuce leaf for all three cups?!? Ended up using a fork, as the 1/3 of a lettuce leaf proved to be inadequate as a serving vessel. The beer coolers are impressive, as were the cider and wine options. And the service was great; people were friendly and attentive. They do offer crowlers (32 oz cans of beer they can right in front of you), but they charge $2 for the can. I don't think I've ever gotten a crowler of canned beer before in which they wanted to charge for the can. Why not just bake that into the price? Overall, I'd go back for the beer cooler selection alone. But I would probably just order from a local food truck if one is parked nearby. read more

It was really exciting to find so many single cans of cider to take home and try- it eliminates the chance of buying a 6 pack only to realize you don't like it much! In addition to single cans, they also sell 22 oz bottles and 6 packs, depending on the drink. I was happy to find single cans of my favorite cider here that I can't find elsewhere in Bellingham! They also have beers and ciders on tap if you'd like to stay a while. They sell growlers in two sizes if you fall in love with your drink and want to take some home. These guys have had such a great reputation for so long that it feels like I have been meaning to get here for probably longer than they have actually been open. It's surprising to see a few great beers here that we really don't even get in Seattle--beers that probably have to come through Seattle on the truck before they land on these Bellingham shelves. They're clearly running a first-class operation, so it's easy to see why they'd land here. You park in the lot and you think you're heading in to the flower shop. Those are the first windows you see on your way to the door. ES is tucked in on the long side of the building, with more space inside than they have maybe even finished planning yet. You walk through a small group of picnic tables, then you see a long wall of coolers facing a deep, wide bar. The taplist is on a big easel out in room where you can see it, rather than craning your neck to look up at the wall. Brewery, style, ABV, all that info is right there. It's a good lineup, with nice selections and nice variety across 16 (I think) taps. The coolers are organized more geographically than stylistically--all the California beers, all the Oregon beers, and so on, but even that system may not be universally applied to every single shelf (which is fine; they're almost all interesting beers). There's a wine and cider room in back, and long rows of candy in between everything. You can cover a lot of cravings here. The whole place has kind of a faux-Tuscan '80s feel to it, with arched doorways and tan sponge-painted walls. You don't even really notice unless you look; the lighting is nice, ceilings are high, and nothing is ever cramped. They're really doing well with all the space they have in here. All the photos I've seen of it make it look chopped up and odd, but when you walk in, it feels welcoming and you could easily hang out for hours. We all walked out with multiple interesting bottles, and we each had a decent beer from the taps too. Can't wait to come back. read more

The "Liz" was my go-to before and during the pandemic. It is walking distance from my house. Their stock of beverages is diverse. They have kombucha, beer, wine and ciders, lots of munchies, and occasionally cooked food from their kitchen. Elizabeth Station is a cool place, it's been on my list for a while. I met my sister her for a late summer beer. The place was almost deserted around 5 on a Saturday. There are tons of choices at Elizabeth Station, I had a hard time choosing. I prefer a light beer and thought I had chosen a beer that would work for me, but it just didn't. It had a really weird aftertaste that I just couldn't shake. I returned to the bar and asked if they could recommend a light beer for me. They were kind and patient and provided me a much better beer. We ordered some nachos. They came quickly and were surprisingly good. The table we share was a long table of slab wood, it was beautiful and nicely done. I was glad to see more folks show up toward the end of our visit. Elizabeth Station has large selection of retail beer as well, the cases are lined with coolers and many many kinds of beer. They also have lots of snacks and treats to choose from. They're arranged by region and brewery which is my preferred sorting as I'm more often searching for a brewery rather than a beer style. Selection is great with nearly 1000 beers and ciders to choose from. Now, their beer selection doesn't have a deep selection of whales or chase beers, bit it'll definitely fill your cellar. Elizabeth Station also has 20 taps with beer and cider. It's a good selection with varied styles and they do taster flights. Great if you want to try different beers, but they are a little pricey. Overall, Elizabeth station is a great place to stop if you're passing through Bellingham. read more

Last night was my first visit to Elizabeth Station, what a great place, I really enjoyed it, they had a great selection of beer on tap, as well as a huge selection of beer, ciders and other drinks bottled in the cooler. Certainly the best selection of beer in Bellingham. One nice service they offer, if you purchase one of the larger bottled beers or ciders from the cooler, they pour it into a glass, then they cap what is left with a stopper so that it doesn't go flat while you drink the first glass. Great place to dog watch from the picnic tables outside and to enjoy amazing pizza and a wide selection of beers and ciders. The pepperoni pizza is excellent, with a very tasty crust. The selection here would earn five stars on its own; I love being able to try new things and it's all well-priced, however it's so frustrating as a couple of 30-somethings with no desire to procreate to constantly be forced into proximity of small children. ESPECIALLY when that establishment is essentially a bar. Way too many bars and breweries are "kid friendly" these days, and I really don't feel like trying to enjoy my beer while your irritating children are crying/screaming/running around like wolves. I just moved from across town to within biking distance of this joint. I normally don't go out much, but decided to give Elizabeth Station a try, and have now found my new hangout. There's bike parking out front, but I'm thinking they might need to increase that for summer days, as it was packed on the Monday night I first stopped by. Their beer selection in the coolers (for consumption on the property or a "build your own six pack" adventure) is like nothing I've ever seen. The chalkboard with the daily beers on tap is a little intimidating at first (and HUGE to fit all the taps!), but the staff knows their stuff and you can't go wrong with that many choices. Plus I hear they will let you sample a bit before you make your choice, but I'm not 100% on that one as I just pick a beer and take the plunge. I'll definitely be back. A lot. read more

I'm not exaggerating when I say this is one of my favorite places in the entire country. Pizza and beer together in perfect harmony. It's my two favorite things on the planet packaged in to one glorious location. My partner and I travel full time in an RV and we were in Bellingham for 3 weeks. I knew as soon as I walked in there that this place was special. We ended up going to Elizabeth Station at least five times. The beer selection is one of the best I've seen in my travels, and we were lucky enough to be there during Oktoberfest/Fresh Hop season, so they were stocked on all the goods. I took advantage of both to-go packs and their tap selection. Every time we went the staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and gave great recommendations. The pizza...good lord the pizza. No bottle shop should have pizza this good. Like, how? Perfect crust, really saucy, and crazy fresh toppings. I'm tearing up writing this review knowing that I have no idea when I will be back in Bellingham to enjoy all this again. BUT I can guarantee we will be back just to enjoy this piece of heaven on earth again. read more
