I loved the color I picked out but I repeatedly said something about the size and fitting of the tips she was using and that it wasn't fully flat on my nail but disregarded it. I also mentioned how thick some sides of my nails were and once again disregarded it. If they are going to raise prices I hope they make sure quality becomes better as well and listen when a customer has a concern. It's not too big of a deal but it was still a nuisance due to unleveled and bumpy edges of my nails. She also did not clean the excess nail polish that was on my skin ‍. I came in because I had a really rough week and wanted to treat myself to something relaxing. Unfortunately my visit here just ended up being an extension of that rough week. 1) the man that painted my toes missed a lot of nail and painted a lot of skin. The polish job was clumpy and he didn't bother to adequately touch up any of the paint surrounding the nail. The massage was really weak and short (despite the fact I was charged extra for it- ?). My toenails look like they were painted by a kid instead of by a professional that I paid. 2) my finger nails came out nicely, but unfortunately instead of using a brush with polish remover, the person just used their finger nail to get rid of the nail polish on the skin of my fingertips... so now I have blue fingertips.. 3) while my polish was drying, the water basin for the person next to me getting a pedicure started to overfill.. instead of draining it or disposing of the water politely, the nail tech took a bowl and scooped the dirty water from her basin and then reached under my legs to dispose of the water in my basin... look I get that I was done and just waiting for my polish to dry but I was still sitting there in the chair and I think it that it was just a really rude move. 4) they weren't upfront about extra charges. They were playing a movie on tv that was not in English nor did it have any subtitles (is the tv for the workers or for the customers?...). The point of sale stand was cluttered with a bunch of stuff (including an old Burger King bag and peanuts shells) instead of being a place to pay. Awful vibes. I left with more anxiety than I came in with. I was really hoping for a pleasant experience but it was really.. just not good. Leaving two stars instead of one because the woman that painted my nails did an ok job. That being said, I probably won't be back P.S sorry for the weird feet pics. read more

This place has received recognition awards by Yelp. We just dropped in and got our nails done today. Thanks paid $25 dollars for a manicure and my daughter had her acrylic nails removed for $10. The nail technician took her time removing nail polish, treating my hands and applying the new color I wanted. No rush, very attentive to detail. My daughter had her nails damaged from the place that she went to for the acrylics, so the technician took the time to check her nails, treat them and give my daughter advice on how to help them heal. The environment was very relaxed and there was soothing music playing in the background. Prices are reasonable and I will definitely be back. I know my daughter wants to take a friend there who also suffered nail damage when she got acrylics at another place. Come check it out! read more

This place was pretty good. Other Yelp reviews talked about the inexpensive pedicures so I went to check it out. I went right when they opened on Saturday. There was no wait. That was nice. They kind of just stood there until I told them what I wanted. But I guess for a $15 pedicure I shouldn't expect the red carpet. Anyway, it's $15; for the basic. But I wanted the calling scrub and let massage so that was $25. Which is closer to the norm. I got a French tip. It came out pretty decent. She asked if I wanted pink on it too. I said yes but when she put it on it was a lot darker than I thought so I changed my mind. She seemed a little upset that I changed my mind, but she fixed it. In the end it seemed like your average decent nail salon. Not sure I would come back. Not that they weren't good. But I'm always on the hunt for diamonds in the rough. read more

The normal ladies weren't available due to a family emergency. I was disappointed with the manicure itself as it was polished unevenly and the nails weren't shaped to the same length. The gentleman who helped me was extremely nice and kept great conversation the entire time. He did offer to redo my nails when I said I was unhappy which I think is excellent customer service. This place was extremely popular as he had to turn away business because he was over booked. The pedicure chairs also looked very comfy. I've been coming to Ella's for almost two years now and I've never had a problem. They are always accommodating to me and my friends. There's four-five of that go at a time and they get us all done with in a reasonable time. We all love our nails after we are done. Pedicure was pretty good massage was ok. My full set is pretty good. I've never done stiletto shaped so for my first go round they are pretty good. If I could leave 0 stars, I would. Totally unprofessional and lacking basic nail tech skills. I was told the set I wanted done would be impossible to do. It was simply a long-length ombre nail with gold flakes, and it seems the only shape this salon thinks exists is a short puppy shape. I went to Ella's salon for the first time today with my friend Jess. We headed out pretty late, so most places gave us an attitude about wanting a full set and a pedicure, and one salon that I'd been trying to call since 3 pm to make an appointment straight up told me that they don't check their phones. So I called Ella's hoping to the nail gods that they'd take us in for our much needed mani pedis and they were so friendly and so happy to take us! We arrived at the salon and were greeted by the friendly nail artists who wasted no time getting us all set up. We made lovely conversation and they were so gentle and actually cared about what they were doing. Most salons ignore you and just talk to each other, this salon was different and made you feel right at home. We talked about our kids, places in town to eat, I even helped them set up their waiting list for the newly opened Cracker Barrel. I felt nothing but peace and good vibes! I will DEFINITELY be returning. I got the $20 pedicure which was AMAZING and so needed, and the dip powder manicure with gel tips and top coat. They both look so so good and I am so happy with the results! Don't waste your time on other salons who are either too rough, don't do a good job or don't bother with basic friendliness. I will definitely be back to Ella's salon, where they care about you, care about the job that they do, care for their business and are so so kind and friendly. read more
