This place is the worst - dark, dingy, and unprofessional. I honestly question if it's even sanitary. Late policy is 9 minutes. Walked in on minute 9. After I had already alerted the store that I was running late. Sierra "would not come out of her room or answer her door" What? Then it was at her discretion to take me. I was within policy. THEN was told front desk checked me in 1 minute after.....but Sierra "Would not come out of her room?" Also, is it on me when the front desks clicks check in? Is it possible the front desk waited that minute to make it past policy? No idea. It's unfortunate I had really liked this place. The ads they use with Lo Bosworth to promote this chain are a joke. I never got the lotions and potions she describes when getting a wax. The same room I always get is not the cleanest. That paper they put on the table to protect you from others germs is barely wide enough for the smallest of people. Stop cheaping out on products and sanitary measures as you collect a small fortune for a wax. The people at this location are not the friendliest. Oh and if you hand the techs a cash tip the one snatches it right out of your hand. Definitely NOT going back. I've been a faithful client for years. I have a wax pass for several body parts! Since I'm in PA for work-I was a bit nervous when making my appointment with someone new. My esthetician this morning was Caroline! She was thorough, kind, and has a great skill set! She has a great vibe about her! I would definitely book an appointment with her next time. This is the WORST center around. It is awful and worth taking the drive down to the McCandless location. I've been a lifetime customer and the Cranberry location has the rudest customer service. They cancelled my appointment because I was 4-5 minutes late and they didn't give a courtesy call or anything. Then, didn't take me DURING MY APPOINTMENT TIME and told me I could come back 2 hours later?! Must better to drive to another location read more

I have been to other EWC locations in the past, but today was my first time visiting the Cranberry location. The location is very clean and the staff is professional and welcoming. Well I would have recommended this place for a waxing but not now!! Been a customer for a year. My hair is thinner downstairs. So I don't have to go as often. I tried a few other places this summer and decided to go back. Such a wrong decision. I liked the way the waxed turned out before better than the other places. However, Tara didn't listen to me when I told her the wax was extremely Hot. Like it was uncomfortable. She continues to proceed. And like it was really hurting. I just thought damn maybe it's cause I'm on my period and my nerves could be more sensitive. She told me that I was getting a lot of ingrowns and I was like oh that doesn't sound good. Which was a lie. I have no ingrown at all.. you burned me and took my skin off. Caused sores and openings. Well she proceed to my anus and it was really Hot. Hotter than what went on my vagina. Well she said she has touch ups to do but when I got home I saw that I wasnt smooth at all like the times before. I hurt really badly. Took pictures and my skin was all red and starting to bubble. I was leaving for the weekend for vacation. Well by Friday night, it was uncomfortable to go to the bathroom at all. I was crying from pain. My anus got it the worst. The sores and blisters are ridiculous. Had to wait until I got home to go to the ER to find out they burned me. So now I have to deal with burns before my beach vacation next week. Let only deal with medical bills and meds. Worst experience ever. And they didn't seem like they wanted to give me back my money. They didn't even apologize for what happened!! But They did refund me for the wax and her tip too cause I am not happy at all. I am still not happy. Need to do better and actually listen to your clients when I said multiple times "That's too hot... Yes, that's uncomfortable" Praying that I do not have scaring from these burns or anything else happens cuz of this. read more

I went here for the first time today. I had avoided getting my eyebrows done for the longest time bc people often thin them too much.. this time that did not happen! I was asked how I wanted my brows to look & she (I believe her name is Nicole) shaped them perfectly while keeping them thick!
