Being in San Diego and ordering over the phone Charlotte was able to pick out numerous colors that matched exactly what I was looking for! I'm not a huge fan of make up and wear little to none. Mascara is one of the few products I wear on a daily basis. This mascara makes my eyes pop. I have naturally long eye lashes and this makes them look 10x better. It was clean and professional. The reason for 3 stars is my $55 deep neck and shoulder massage lasted 21 minutes instead of 30. It was also supposed to be deep to relieve stubborn and chronic tension area. On top of that, if you want firm pressure, it's $10 more. What a hidden gem! I had a massage with Natalia and facial with Elena. The spa was clean and cozy with nice touches like coffee and tea while I waited and a chic robe. Natalia was a great masseuse and offered me lavender aromatherapy which I loved. Elena was very responsive to my request for a gentle facial and had suggestions to reduce redness. I was given a gift certificate to Renaissance as a gift last year. And I admit that I almost waited until it expired! The spa does seem to win a lot of local "awards". But I wonder about that..... It's located on the second floor in an older office building in Cranberry just off Route 19. The staff is very friendly. I was led to a "dressing room", actually a small bathroom with lockers and robes. The "relaxation" room has a fake fireplace that wasn't working and four parson chairs scattered about. Not very relaxing. Plus you could hear the staff giggling in the nearby break room. My massage by Cindy was nice. However, the aromatherapy oils were a little overwhelming. Plus, the "spa" music waifed in and out. But it was "out" most of the time. Maybe if the music played steadily, I would not have had to listen to the toe nail clipping going on in the next room. Kind of repulsive. My whirlpool pedicure was marred by the loud noise that my chair's tray table when I turned on the chair's massage. Also, I picked out a beige colored polish but I somehow ended up with peach on my toes. I have had better pedicures at the nail salon in the local Walmart store. My manicure was okay, but not really all that professionally done. And I had to make sure that I got my beige polish that I have picked out. The facilities seems to be very clean. The prices here are low, a lot less than other spas that I have been to. I would say that you get what you pay for. read more

I ordered the Obagi Clenziderm MD from Charlotte at Renaissance Day spa. I've tried so many different face wash products and none really seemed to be effective. I have been using Proactiv for years but it just never really worked. I was introduced to Obagi by Charlotte and she shipped it to me in a couple days. I read up a lot on this product before using it and I saw great things, but I did read that your skin needs to adjust to it for 1-2 weeks and that your skin may burn the first couple weeks. The first night I used it my face was a little red, but I could already tell that my skin felt smoother/ more tight and a clearer complexion. I've been using it every night for a few months now and I really like it. It is by the far the best face wash product I have ever used. Charlotte was so caring and very knowledgeable on this product and even checked in with me to see how I liked it. I will be ordering another set from her when I run out in the next couple of weeks. The spa is clean and the rooms are nice. However the only reason I spent 80 dollars on A pregnancy massage, was so that I could lay in the special contraption that allows me to lay on my stomach! I have heard from others that this was a real treat to finally be able to have your back massage properly. When I got into the massage room, The therapist told me that I would be doing a side laying pregnancy massage. She said I don't think you would be comfortable laying on your stomach with the special prop. I told her that that was the only reason that I booked at the salon, so she then spent 10 minutes looking for it, only to come back and say that it must be in another room. So the massage was fine, except for the fact that I requested on my sheet that I would like moderate to heavy pressure. The pressure was light at best, and often felt like the amount of pressure one would use to put on body lotion. The real kicker was that during this full body massage, she completely skipped my arms and hands. I left feeling like I had something missing. When I went to check out, the therapist never greeted me or said thank you for coming. Instead, I waited over five minutes standing at reception for someone to come and check me out. I will not be back to this establishment, because I feel that you can get a much higher quality massage for less money in the area. read more

I didn't receive the scalp massage and when I told the receptionist she apologized and offered to go get the girl who did it but I couldn't wait because I had a babysitter for a little bit.
