Small size strawberry/banana smoothie that was delicious and helped me quench my thirst, as well.

Food, service, and ambiance was excellent, and I left as a satisfied customer. No complaints.

Alright, I had a great start to Sunday with a very refreshing beet juice and a light, cool kale…read morejuice. Both get a 10/10. I modified the BLT by removing the bacon and adding grilled chicken; that's a 10/10 as well. Let me just say, with the goat cheese, it was taken to a whole new level, and as you can see with the eggs Benedict no bacon on that, the grilled chicken will definitely be coming back for another 10/10. I was very surprised by this spot. The staff, of course, was busy with the after-church crowd, but they did a great job seating us. I really enjoyed the open space, and it was very well lit with natural light and good lighting in the building.

This place was so good that we went twice and the second time we brought our family! The restaurant…read moregives kind of modern farm kitchen vibes which nice. While here I tried the shrimp and grits, 3 meat omelet, and the chicken and waffle sliders. Hands down the shrimp and grits may be the best I've ever had. I appreciated that the sauce was not oily and they give a good amount of shrimp and conecuh sausage (this specific sausage is the key) for the amount of grits they give you. This may be the best shrimp and grits I've ever had so if you don't know what to order, you can't go wrong with this choice. The 3 meat omelet was bomb as well with plenty of meat inside the omelet with a choice of side. Lastly, the chicken and waffle sliders were also really good. The chicken is crispy and the hot honey sauce it comes with naturally motivates you to dip the chicken into the syrup (thank me later if this didn't cross your mind until now). I can't forget the sweet tea is very sweet and when you ask for a side of lemons, they actually cut a lemon up for you which I appreciate from a sanitary standpoint. In case you were also wondering, they offer military discounts and they will sing happy birthday if you ask (no free dessert but they do have some really good beignets to purchase). The beignets are really soft and go great with the ganauche. The only downside for this restaurant is the service is a bit slow. Both days it took quite a bit of time to be greeted by a server and sometimes they take a while to come by your table. This is a minor fix but if this can be rectified this is easily a 5 star brunch place that the city needed. I recommend this restaurant to anyone considering coming to it and I look forward to coming back to eat here (my mom still talks about the shrimp and grits lol).

I will start off with my server India...she was a fantastic waitress. She was knowledgeable about…read morethe menu, and that she didn't, she was willing to find out for me with no hesitation. I had the Lobster Spinach Queso, it was very flavorful. Was looking for more of a crunch to the chips, but otherwise very flavorful. I had the Chilean Sea Bass, w/ seasonal ancient grains and vegetables. The Chilean Sea Bass was also very flavorful, different than what I'm use to but delicious nonetheless. I believe the seasonal ancient grains and vegetables would have been better paired with some type of gravy or sauce. I also had (the best part of my meal) the 5 Layer Lemon Cake, with the blueberry topping...soooo good! The ambiance was light and celebratory! Kudos again to India! Shoutout also to her manager Chris!

In fact none of it is. My date's steak although wrapped in bacon, was extremely salty. I had the Shrimp & Grits .. and man The andouille sausage was AMAZING. Shrimp was a bit tough. But the grits? The worse plate of grits I've ever had in my life. It was utter mush, which is okay if that's how you cook it but it's supposed to be cheese grits and I didn't taste anything cheese about it. No seasoning. Grease around the edges. I literally got a little nauseous looking at it after a while because I thought of how that would upset my stomach. No offense but if you're going to claim to be this fine dining restaurant, at least put out the quality in food.. Other than that the setting and environment was pretty chill. And also cold but that's okay, it is super hot outside. We will not be returning.

Jazzy's Eats and Treats is a great place to have brunch, given breakfast and brunch is all this…read morerestaurant serves and that is all they have on the menu. This focus should and does translate into good results, but it is a work in progress. I came here with two friends and we were in agreement this is a great place for breakfast and brunch, but also in agreement their coffee and tea game could be stepped up. There are no real hot tea choices and the coffee is a bit on the weak side. There is also no iced tap water, only bottled water to pour over ice. They only charge a buck for the water, but it is a consideration. I ordered the shrimp and grits with a side of bacon, which I highly recommend. The grits have a creamy consistency aided with lots of cheese and butter, the latter of which is great for flavor, but could be restrained a bit. You are not here to count the calories. There are a decent number of shrimp atop, with proper Cajun seasoning befitting the eponymously named and New Orleans styled Jazz restaurant. The side of bacon, which came out in a caramelized semicrisp state, complimented the shrimp and added its own savory flavor to put it over the top for me. Jazzy's New Orleans underpinning was consistent in its flavor profile across all our dishes. The Cajun seasoning was evident in the Salmon Croquettes and the Fish and Grits my friends ordered. Everything received positive reviews, save for the pancakes one of my friends ordered on the side, which were considered mildly positive, and the Croquettes, which were a bit too heavily seasoned with the increased sodium content. Prices are reasonable and, after all is said and done, each person will come to about thirty bucks, including the tip, which is automatically charged at fifteen percent. Service was good, but this automatic gratuity charge is a practice I do not like and is reflected in my review rating, but do not let that dissuade you from coming here. 3.5 stars!
