They all take great care for their patients, and they do all that they can to reduce stress and allay fears that involve dental work. The staff is uniformly friendly and casual, and they all appear to like each other! My most recent experience was a sudden need for a new tooth - I had pizza over the weekend and a molar cracked apart when I chewed a piece of it. You'd think a cheese pizza would be a safe food! Luckily it wasn't too painful, but I was distressed by the result and I called the doctor's office. They got me that very Monday and solved the immediate problem with a temporary crown, and I will be going back in two weeks for the permanent crown. Getting a crown by itself can be stressful, and having to do it without much time to consider the experience made it more stressful to me, but I knew I'd be in good hands, and indeed I was! read more

I've been a patient with Dr. Ellie for 8+ years and she is the best. Not only is all of her staff awesome but they ensure that you feel great. Dr. Ellie ensures that every procedure is done amazing, takes care of the patients and always goes above and beyond. In my time as a patient I've had zero issues, not once. Today I had a root canal done and it hurt zero - it was actually very cool and Dr Ellie was telling me all about it which I found very interesting. I have recommended her office to all of my friends and they all visit her when needed and love the work she does. Even during times of COVID, they are prepared to the extreme ensuring both patients and staff are safe. I wouldn't trust my teeth to anyone else...ever. WOULD NOT recommend Dr. Ellie!! Watch out for her office to send you to collections without hesitation or the courtesy of reaching out to their patients to inform them of any billing problems. Would not talk to me. Would not reverse the collection even though it was their mistake! Oh lets talk about how Dr. Ellie put me through agony and torture by putting someone else's crown in my mouth!! So sending me to collections was their answer? Nice job Dr. Ellie! read more

Five years ago, before I moved this city, I had complicate dental issues, and the solutions other dentists provided were at least three operations. She did it in one. She is talkative and singing all the time, which some people may not like, but I enjoy it. That makes me relax and comfortable. read more

Early-to-Mid 2014: If I can summarize my learning: If a dentist incessantly sings songs and talks during the procedure, that's a big signal for you to run, right there! Simple dental cleaning - when nothing had bothered me - ended up in two fillings on teeth #2 and #3, sharp pain afterwards for days. Antibiotics prescribed after 5 days of this crazy pain. Because the pain still persisted, the doc did a root canal on tooth #3 (with a story about "smart and moving bacteria"). Now more pain, more antibiotics and more pain killers. The doc stated that the pain was from coming from tooth #2 and eventually did a root canal on tooth #2. Due to heavy discharge from the nose and the excruciating pain in the sinus in next couple of days, which, in doc's unequivocal expression of opinion, had nothing to do with the root canal ("it was flu"), I then saw an ENT doctor. Having reviewed the X-rays, the ENT doc politely recommended to change the dentist, and instead of a general dentist, now go see an endodontist. The endodontist who I then visited looked at the X-rays and agreed that the symptoms were related to the root canal, and recommended antibiotics and later steroids, to contain the continuing inflammation before redoing the root canal. Eventually, he had to redo both root canals, and since this has not helped (see the why below), the tooth #3 and then tooth #3 both had to be extracted. To our mutual astonishment, one the removed teeth had a big piece of gutta-percha sticking out from the side of its root by about 10 mm. The rubber material had gone well into the sinus and caused all the dizziness and tear production. When shown a picture of the removed tooth with the gutta-percha sticking out, Dr. Tarabaei commented by saying only that "It happens". May be it happens, but not with both teeth done a few days apart? I sincerely recommend you see an experienced endodontist for any root canal, not a general dentist. Actually, when we looked at the teeth after they were extracted, they both looked pretty normal - with just with a small drilled hole in the root. I therefore doubt a root canal was even necessary... read more

While I saw Dr Ellie, I thought she was great. Then my insurance changed, and I needed a new dentist. With my new dentist there have been SEVERAL fillings done by Dr. Ellie, and have to be taken out and redone. I really really wish I had gone to a competent dentist the first time, instead of having to go through getting a filling twice, and paying for it twice! I am incredibly angry with the work Dr. Ellie did to my mouth. If I had a time machine, this is definitely one of the things I would go back and fix. read more

Ok, here's the poop: Dr. Ellie is a pretty good dentist, but her front office staff is the pits. As a new Regence Platinum patient I expected them to understand my dental insurance plan and all it's billing nuances, specifically what's covered and when. So I go in and get the obligatory x-rays and gum numbering, but no there's more - we can fix that smile of yours by fixing those two chipped front teeth AND HERE'S WHAT IT'S GONNA COST AFTER YOUR INSURANCE PAYS ITS PART. Well no one called to confirm that the procedure called a "restoration" was covered for the first year, so a few months later after Regence refused to pay a penny, I was presented a bill for the whole amount. Don't get me wrong, the work was excellent, but had I know (i.e. not shown an "estimate") that my insurance wasn't going to cover it I SIMPLY WOULD HAVE WAITED THE YEAR UNTIL IT WAS. read more
