In a few words, I had a phenomenal experience at Spektor Dental from start to finish! I recently visited Spektor Dental as a new patient, and I had a wonderful experience there. The office itself is very large and spacious, but it's the incredible staff that truly makes the difference. From the moment my two young girls (ages 4 and almost 6) and I arrived, we were welcomed with warm greetings from Britt Ann, the Front Desk Manager. The team instantly made my girls comfortable, which is key for any parent, especially at a dental office. If my girls are comfortable, than I am comfortable! Dr. Go was our dentist. Once we were in the exam room, Dr. Go and a couple assistants came in to help and chat/help with the girls. ALl of them were fantastic at explaining everything clearly to me, but also explaining what they would do to my girls and built a good foundation of trust from the get go. My kids weren't scared or nervous at all. They probably didn't even realize they were at the dentist! The following day, I came back to get my dental cleaning (it's that time of year for all of us to get our teeth checked). And again, the level of care was nothing short of exceptional. Many staff members went out of their way to stop in and say hello, even if I wasn't their specific patient. Dr. Go was my dentist as well. And to no surprise, she was very patient with me, and explained every step of the process to me very clearly, and outlined what areas I should focus on brushing on better at home. I felt completely at ease throughout my entire visit. If I had to say there was one thing the office could work on, I would suggest having better signage out on the main room as it was hard to find the entry off of the street my first time getting there (the office is in the back of an office complex). But once inside, the 'going to the dentist' experience far exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend Spektor Dental, and Dr. Go! read more

Dr Wendy was recommended to me from a well known and well regarded retired Bellevue cosmetic dentist. I'm so glad I took his advice. Dr Wendy redid my bridge and veneers as they were over 20 years old. I also had Kor whitening which worked really well. I am so happy with the results and my new smile! Everyone in her office is really nice and competent. Most of her staff have been there for many, many years which says a lot. The lab used to make the veneers etc is in the same building so the coordination is seamless. Dr Wendy is a perfectionist. She wants everything just right. Decided to go ahead with my cleaning appointment even with an ongoing pandemic. Didn't want to cancel since they had been closed for two months. Was impressed with the process-had no concerns for my safety. However, I was charged $73.00 for PPE and a fluoride treatment. Called my childhood dentist and they are not charging anything for PPE, and because of my caps and veneers I did NOT need fluoride. Shame on Spektor Dental, and me for paying. read more

I went here once for a routine cleaning and my dentist was nice. Then I kept getting voicemails that they needed my correct address. Each time I received a voicemail, I would call back and leave a message with my correct address. This happened maybe 3 times. Finally, after getting Brittany (their front desk) on the phone, she was able to send me a bill for something. A routine cleaning is covered by my insurance and this bill said nothing about what it was for, and also included fines for them not having my correct address. I just paid it so I wouldn't have to deal with Brittany any more. I still have no idea why I had a charge on a simple cleaning. I will not go back and would not recommend them to anyone. read more

Dr. Molly and Keely @ Spektor Dental are a power duo! I'm so glad I found this dental office. I moved to Washington from California 3 years ago and was in search of a new dentist after seeing the same dentist in California for 20 years. After doing some online research, I found that Spektor dental accepted my dental insurance, so I thought I would give them a shot. So glad I did - after my first visit, I convinced my husband to check them out as well. We live in Black Diamond, so we're not especially close to Bellevue, but the drive is worth it. Every time I schedule a cleaning, I request Keely as my hygienist and Dr. Molly as the dentist. My teeth can be quite sensitive, and Keely is as gentle as can be. Both Keely and Dr. Molly are super personable and we can pick up a conversation from my last cleaning 6 months prior. The front desk staff is also very accommodating and flexible. I've run into Seattle to Bellevue traffic on my way to the dentist more than once, and they have always been understanding. read more

I started going to Spektor Dental about 8 years ago while I was dealing with front teeth veneer concerns and had a lot of anxiety about my veneers coming off or breaking. I was immediately comforted by the top-notch care and unmatched professionalism in their office. Every single person I've seen and worked with at this office is beyond INCREDIBLE. From regular cleanings to gum grafts, kor whitening and new veneers, I have always been treated like a VIP patient and have received hands down the BEST care. Abandoned Patient and Waste of Money & Time. This review serves to warn prospective and current patients of unprofessionalism and dishonesty displayed by Dr. Molly McIntosh at Spektor Dental. Ultimately, this cost me over 2 years and thousands of dollars. Dr. Molly McIntosh came up with a Treatment Plan specifically for me. This included dental and orthodontia, with Dr. Molly regularly involved in the process and supposedly meeting with Orthodontists to monitor. After over 2 years and thousands of dollars spent, Dr. McIntosh, in no uncertain terms, told me that she is uncomfortable continuing my plan (the same plan that she created) and that I should find another dentist. I was ABANDONED out of the blue. It should be noted that I am not a special case. After meeting with several leading Dentists in the area and settling on a new one, they ALL felt they could fix and complete my treatment plan. One Dentist even admitted to preconceived questions/uncertainties about Spektor Dental's methods. I would give ZERO stars if I could. If you are a current patient, or are looking for a new Dentist - I would strongly urge you to consider other options. If you are Spektor Dental, please don't even both with some generic/canned/template response to this; you had ample opportunity. read more

I was referred to Dr Pelli (Shaked) for crown lengthening. Dr. Pelli was great! She is professional, friendly and caring and made sure I have no pain during the surgery. The surgery went well. Dr. Pelli called me few times to make sure I was doing well. The assistant, Nicole, was so nice and helpful and the front desk were friendly. I've been to a lot of dentists over the years and quite simply none compare to Spektor Dental. It's pretty clear that Dr. Wendy cares about here patients and strives to give the best possible care. The office is upscale, but not stuffy or overbearing. The staff is super friendly and easy going. I've really never seen anything like it. No wonder Dr. Wendy gets such good reviews. As for me I told Dr. Wendy about 4 or 5 years ago that I wanted a "movie star" smile. She did not rush the process and suggested a series of steps over time to get the best results. It started with orthodontics to straighten my bottom teeth, whitening, replacing some old metal fillings, a crown, and eventually some veneers. The process was complete last month and the result is simply perfect and beyond what I expected. Very cool. read more

I love my Dentist. As a girl who had braces TWICE(Kids, wear your retainer), countless cavities as a child, and family with a history of weak teeth I was completely set up to be terrified of going to the dentist for the rest of my life. My step dad recommend the Spektor office and I am forever in his debt due to the fact that I look forward to my bi-yearly appointments! They staff consists of literal angels. They are beyond kind and quick to get the teeth cleaning torture over. The office is ahead of the curve with their technology and tools creating a less painless process. When Wendy walks in the experience goes from sunshine and rainbows to sunshine, rainbows AND unicorns. That's right folks, I'm still talking about a dentist's office. I first went to see Dr. Wendy Spektor in 1992. While she has done a couple caps for me most visits were for routine checkups and cleanings. Then last month she redid my 4 top front teeth with veneers. I have to say she did a great job! Far better and easier than I expected and they look perfectly natural, just like they were mine all along. If you're looking for the best dentist in Seattle you just found her. A friend recommended Dr. Libbi at Spektor Dental, Bellevue - and I was simply 'blown away' by the extraordinary care I received. I had a tooth emergency having bitten down hard on a very hard food item. After 4 days of hoping the sensitivity and the fact that my tooth was loose would go away, I called Spektor Dental. This office is a class act! 5 stars all the way. I'm not a fan of the arts of dentistry but if you are looking for a superior dentist by far Spector has exceeded my expectations. I had a pretty good dental issue and I have dealt with some less than great dental offices in the past but Spector make it extremely friendly, very calming, the most thorough exam I've ever had in the history of going to dentists. I can tell why they have such a good rating. There is no smoke and mirrors. Everyone here is super nice and goes out of there way to make you feel comfortable. Molly McIntosh and her dental assistant as well as the person who did all the x-rays and photos were exceptional. I've only had two visits and have a couple more scheduled but I was impressed. I've often been in pain after a dentist visit and I'm not saying that every time will be painless for everyone but I can tell the work that these people do is highly skilled and well organized. I was so comfortable I actually fell asleep a few times while they were working on my mouth and I'm usually very tense when it comes to dental work. Seriously a class act! It might be a little more spendy then what I was initially looking at but wow what a difference in quality of work. Exceptional dentist office!! read more

Office was nice and the staff was excellent. What I wasn't informed of was that Dr Spektor is not in network in with any insurance company so the patient (me) is responsible for the difference. I have never paid a dime for cleanings. When I scheduled the appointment I was told they took my insurance and I assumed that meant it would be fully covered. $125 later and I am not happy. The bulk of the fee is x-rays which I didn't feel I needed but was talked into getting. Be careful of this place because u will get a BIG bill.... read more

I've been going to see Dr. Wendy since I was in high school, and that makes for over 20 years by now (where has the time gone???). I'm fairly lucky, I think, with good teeth that don't need much more than the regular cleaning and the occasional bit of extra work. But my husband is another case, and despite his constant preventative care, his teeth are soft & crumbly, and have needed a lot of help over the years. And the other day we were talking, and the comment was made that he probably wouldn't HAVE any teeth left at this point (ie, be stuck with dentures) if it hadn't been for Dr. Wendy's work. Which is what is motivating me to share our experience here. After all, Yelp's not just for restaurant reviews, right? Anyway, here's what we appreciate about the care that Dr. Wendy has provided to both of us over the past two decades: *Very comfortable customer environment/experience. Hey, major dental work is NOT fun - a customer friendly office helps you to relax. *Knowledgeable & competent employees. Employees who listen to you throughout your appointment to make sure you are never uncomfortable, and that everything is done right for you. *Clear explanations of what our options are, the various price points, the pros & cons, and what the procedure involves. Not such a big deal for cleaning; a very big deal when you're doing reconstructive work on your teeth! *Working with us to be able to afford / get financing for the major dental work we've needed, even though at periods we have been uninsured (Dr. Wendy has access to special financing programs for this). *Comprehensive services - it's not just about cleaning your teeth; it's about your overall oral health (for example, an exam doesn't just look for cavities, but also for other health issues - such as cancers - that could be connected with your mouth/face). *Last, but most definitely not least: HIGH QUALITY CARE. Dr. Wendy is at the top of her field, and isn't afraid to consult with/bring in other specialists as well if your situation requires it. She also makes sure her office is equipped with the latest equipment & technology, so you get the best care possible. Well, I could go on & on, but I think those are the main points that really stand out to us. Oh (I guess I will go on a little more), Dr. Wendy also respects our decisions. For example, when my husband opted not to go for the more thorough reconstructive work (price point was higher than we could take on), she did her very best using bonds to create a temporary fix. The projected 'lifetime' for this temp fix was 2-3 years. Well, it's been four now, and the work is still holding up good as new. Very happy about this! And finally, I have to mention that our loyalty to Dr. Wendy and her staff isn't just because of the consistently excellent service we've received over the years. It's also a reflection of the fact that Dr. Wendy treats her patients not simply as customers, but as friends. She remembers us as individuals, and never fails to ask about how things are going with ABC or XYZ - whatever it was that was on our minds 6 months before at our previous check-up. Okay, done for real this time. :) To sum up, I'd say if you're looking for a dentist who provides top-notch service in a great environment and who cares not just about your teeth, but about you, too, then Dr. Wendy would be a good dentist for you. Going to the dentist is something, like most people, I don't look forward to. At Spektor Dental, the experience was like no other, you are greeted by a very cheerful staff and the beverage of your choice. The staff guides you into your own private room where they do the most thorough exam and pictures I have ever had, they spend a lot of time getting to know you and your teeth. Dr. Libbi was amazing, she asked a lot of questions, listened to my concerns and never made me feel rushed. I have now found a place I feel comfortable and don't dread going. Full disclosure - I have known and worked with Dr. Wendy Spektor and Spektor Dental for 15 years as I write her newsletter. That said, I make a point to keep work and personal separate with all my clients. But after seeing and admiring her dental work for so long--and watching my own deteriorate--I asked to see her as a patient. This is out of network for me and I paid dearly to have a perio evaluation with Dr. Michael Spektor, and gumline bonding and a porcelain crown with Dr. Wendy. I have had many gum surgeries in the past for recession. I am truly very happy with my own local dentist close to home. I just wanted the very best solution for me, and no one had presented gumline bonding to me as an option before. The results were everything I'd hoped for, and worth the price. I've seen both Dr. Spektors -- Michael and Wendy, for cosmetic and cleaning and the results are always something I am happy with and feel confident about. They are both incredibly professional, caring, thorough and their staff is friendly and makes you feel comfortable and safe. I've been going to see Dr. Wendy Spektor for 17 years and despite 5 years of living on the east coast, I make sure to make at least two trips a year to Seattle, if that's what it'll take for me to not have to switch dentists. With the most updated technology, great magazines, any channel on TV and the highest-quality staff, Dr. Spektor's office makes going to the dentist enjoyable. The entire office knows almost all patients by name. Ive been going to Dr Spektor for a couple of years now. Her and her staff have always made me feel comfortable and appreciated. I didn't go to the dentist for 4 years while in college and they took me in with pretty bad teeth and never once did I feel uncomfortable. Now, years later, I got a Crown done and what a wonderful job they did. I barely felt a thing during and between the temp crown. And the permanent didn't hurt a bit either.
