I got really good help from one of the folks near the service desk. I showed him the part, and he took his time to find one that looked like a match. The employees are very knowledgeable and friendly about it. (As opposed to the other place where I felt like I was being talked down to.) I was looking for a specialty product, that they didn't have, but they did have a suggestion for a viable alternative that I'll consider. As long as I was there, I wandered the aisles and I was impressed with the wide selection of tools and accessories. I drooled over tools I wish I had a use for and saw things I didn't even know were made. Brand name power tools as well as more economically priced equipment for the casual user. On the top end, they have a CNC router table (if you have to ask, you'll never use it, anyway) for an amazingly low price of $6,000.00 although the router is not included. I have no use for it but I do marvel at the technology. Really, if I were a serious woodworker, this would be my go-to place for tools, exotic woods, accessories, and advice. It's inconveniently located in a strip shopping center on the southwest corner of Greenfield Avenue and Sunny Slope, on the New Berlin side of Greenfield, but worth the effort to get there.

First, I went to Village Ace in Glendale and luckily they were familiar with the handle. They gave me some parts, but after a couple return visits, they knew I was probably in over my head. Brandon suggested I take it all to Mike D at the Meinecke store. Thank you Brandon! Mike D is awesome! He knew the history of that particular faucet. He took it all apart, showing and naming all the pieces. He found what I missing, greased it all up, and put it all back together. He also gave me instructions for putting it back in the wall. We do not know much about plants so my husband ask the girl at the checkout where we could find them. After pointing us in the right direction, we returned with one of each. As we were paying, the girl at the checkout, Ellie, was very excited about the spider plant we chose. We told her it was a gift. Sadly we don't have green thumbs. She was so sweet and told us how spider plants are great natural humidifiers. She also showed us how to check when they need water. All things we didn't know and made us want to buy a few spider plants for ourselves. She was so happy and helpful. I don't usually leave reviews.
