    Pup x the sunset!

Evening walk with all the views. I've always loved dining here. Now we walk here too with Baci. Always empty. Always with views. And all the boats. One of the prettier, less busy marinas here. Unlike where we live, south lake union, it's also quiet. You can grab a dinner at Maggie's bluff! Walk around. Watch the low tides/ downtown Seattle skyline. Sit and watch the sunset. Walk around to the private beach. Even have a small dog park here but we haven't gone into it. It's on the smaller side. All gravels. Looks fun but baci like grass, water and all the fish/ birds in the water. Best for quiet evening walks. Short 1 mile walk but you can loop it! Free parking up to 3 hours.

Well maintained marina on Puget Sound. While they have gate codes, there does always seem to be people coming and going for boat maintenance, cleaning etc. I've always felt safe though and staff walks the docks by daily to check on things. They have amenities like laundry on-site. No public transit options but they do have a short walking path around the marina. You can walk down ricks to get to the rocky beach (more beach at low tide). Only two options close by for dining (Maggie Bluffs is the casual option), but you can get delivery from many other close by places. There is a marina store at the end of the fuel dock that has basic essentials (plus ice cream bar and sandwiches!)

Beautiful Marina! Was suppose to take a boating class here, but due to covid only one student at a time, so I got to explore the area a bit. There's a visitors parking lot that's free and an area for permit parking only. Looks like there's laundry and restrooms you can use. Two restaurants and a little shop available. The restaurant has outdoor seating so you can watch the views while eating. Also some benches and tables along the Marina for resting if you wanted to take a walk/jog. Lots of room for social distancing and pretty peaceful and quiet atmosphere overall.

Downtown Sailing Series, every Thursday during summer! Dock D, FTW!!!

We love Elliott Bay Marina!!! During the summer months, we are here every Thursday night to sail in the Downtown Sailing Series. We are one of 70 or so sailboats that gather around the Elliott Bay Marina breakwater for one of the most popular boating events on Puget Sound. It truly is a fun, and awesome, sailboat regatta! A tightly packed group of boats jockey for position, an air horn sounds and colorful sails unfurl, propelling a parade of vessels along the Seattle waterfront as spectators watch from the Edgewater Hotel, Waterfront Grill and the SAM Olympic Sculpture Park. The after-party is equally as awesome. Every week, the staff of Elliott Bay Marina grills up food for 400+, and provides a couple kegs of beer and cases of wine. As the sun sets, hundreds of people sprawl out on the lawn and mingle along the marina's main walkway. It's during these beautiful, summer evenings spent sailing out of Elliott Bay Marina that I fall in love with Seattle every.damn.time! Thank you, Elliott Bay Marina!

This place is gorgeous! (If you can find it...the exit off the bridge is easy to miss, and once you get off, it looks like you're at a dead end). It is well maintained, gorgeous views, just an awesome space in the city. We came to go sailing on a cousin's boat and had a nice time here.

We recently booked Hot Tub Boats with our friends for a triple date day out, and we had a blaaasssttt! I was the only one of us out of six who had done it, so it was so fun getting to introduce them to Hot Tub Boats. Upon arrival they asked if it was anybody's first time, and as mentioned it was, so they gave us a 10% discount and free epsom salt soak which was so nice of them and totally unexpected. They got us back into the locker room quickly to pack up all of our stuff and get ready to head to the boats. After a quick safety demo we were out! It's so fun to bring along some snacks, refreshing beverages, and hang out on the lake on a nice day with friends. It was so cool seeing several sea planes landing and taking off! My only complaint is that two hours on the boat goes waaaay too fast. But that just gives me an excuse to book again. :) 10/10 do recommend checking them out if you haven't, it's the perfect day out!

The water temperature was just right, and the rose petals and Epsom salt add-on completely elevated the vibe felt luxurious, relaxing, and intentional in all the best ways. You can really tell care was put into creating an experience, not just a service. Ashley was amazing so gracious, accommodating, and welcoming, even though our entire group arrived late (which we really appreciated!). She made us feel taken care of from the moment we arrived and throughout the entire experience. 10/10 across the board--we would absolutely recommend this to anyone looking for something unique, relaxing, and special. We'll definitely be back!

We ended up really enjoying the tour and would highly recommend to visitors. This would especially be a great thing to add to your itinerary if you're only in the city for a short time, as you get to see a lot of landmarks in a short time. You also get to hear about the city's history and key industries. The ride overall is pretty smooth, and my husband, who gets motion sickness, was totally fine. The boat when docked can experience a little more motion, however, so your mileage may vary. We also found it easy to get seats with good views, and the guides were easy to hear anywhere on the boat. The crew were friendly and engaging, and Angelo and the other staff were very kind to us when my husband and I mentioned we were celebrating our anniversary.

The check-in and onboarding process was super easy. The ship promptly left dock at designated time. The top deck had open view. The second level had enclosed area with glass window views. Also both ends were open to guests as well. From start to end, the staff member did an amazing job of narrating many aspects of the views from the deck. A lot of it was about the downtown Seattle buildings, Space Needle, buildings and parks by the shore, the sea ports and many other cool facts along the way. I throughly enjoyed the hour long tour. The weather was also fantastic to take stunning pictures of the downtown, the mountains and the port. They also had a bar in second level where they served alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages, pop corn and some small snacks. Prices were decent for it being a tourist activity. We liked both popcorn and the strawberry lemonade.

My husband is a huge Sleepless in Seattle fan and the highlight of the evening was passing the floating house. The food was amazing. Everything was farm to fork fresh and prepared by a chef onboard. I highly recommend the crab cakes and homemade bourbon ice-cream. The pace of the evening was lovely, it didn't feel rushed or lagging. You could tell Mark worked hard to make sure that our experience from the moment we stepped aboard was seamless. He thought of everything, even providing a cozy blanket when the wind became a little chilly towards the end of the night. I cannot recommend Enchantress Cruises enough! This sailing was 2 hours long and the stays within Elliott Bay. Sailing Seattle has a fleet of 3 yachts. We were on a their largest vessel, S/V Obsession. This ocean racing yacht was designed by Sparkman & Stephens and was built for training US America's Cup teams. This yacht can accommodate up to 48 passengers and has a total length of 70ft. We boarded from Pier 56 and settled in for the 2 hour narrated journey. Boarding was seamless. The yacht has some non-slip surfaces and grab handles to help with balance and traction. Seats are first come first serve. After a brief safety demonstration on life vests, we set off on our sunset sail. This experience was further enhanced by their BYOB rule. We were allowed to bring our own snacks, wine, and beer. Our sailing path weaved in and out of ferry lanes and we completed some sharp turns, really showcasing the agility of the yacht. We pulled in after sunset providing everyone a beautiful nighttime view of downtown Seattle and waterfront. Service was fantastic. The crew was friendly and efficient. My biggest recommendation when doing the sunset cruise is to layer up (sweater/jacket) or even bring a nice blanket.
