My wife wanted a gold chain so she could wear a diamond pendant of my mother's engagement ring diamond. Megan did exactly what I wanted any jewelry store to do, put my wife on a pedestal and treat her like gold. She helped find a chain, cleaned the diamond pendant. Checked my wife's wedding ring for loose diamonds and cleaned it. We are looking forward to coming back and have her check her marquis Emerald ring also. I was thinking it's been 30 years since I have been in a jewelry store where the customer felt special. Then the frames on the wall said it all. We recently bought a ring in an estate sale. I had emailed Zundel's asking if they would be able to…read morereset the stone for me. Mr. Bill Zundell quickly replied (within a day) saying it shouldn't be an issue. About four weeks later the ring came in, I took it to their store and told them I wanted a thin gold band. I am not overly familiar with jewelry, but they quickly took me to show me examples, recommended four prongs (instead of six - to show off the stone), had my ticket written up and price estimate all done in less than 10 minutes. To me, this was a perfect experience. I knew what I wanted, just needed a little bit of guidance, and didn't want any sales pitches for a more expensive band. My ring was ready within 2 weeks and it couldn't be more perfect. We also thought the price to remove the stone and reset it, including the price of the setting was VERY reasonable. Now that we've upgraded my engagement ring, I'll need a new wedding band. We'll definitely be getting it at Zundel's.
