Having not been here since 2012, I need to scour the reviews to find where we could get the best take out seafood especially Maryland Crabs. Lo and behold, just steps away from our Courtyard Marriott is the Crab Stop. It's before season so many places are still closed but the Owner answered when I called, had a great sense of humor, and happily took my order for a designated pick up time. We arrived 10 minutes early and they had just completed the order, packed it up, and we were out the door in minutes. This is a Father/Son establishment. Dave (?) the Father is 85 and his son Tom (?) run this fine eatery. It's built for take out and there is no disappointment. We ordered 6 large crabs, 1# of Lump Crab and 2 ears of corn. Within minutes our table was covered with crab, crab shells, Old Bay, and we savored every minute of the delicious fresh sweet crab meat. No filler, fresh Crab, Eastern Shore style and delicious. The medium crabs were very good. Some establishments would be seeking them as Large. They were seasoned and steamed perfectly. Heavy and sweet. The sides; Corn on the Cob, steamed in the Husk was very good and the Hush Puppies were a perfect pairing. My apologies for lack of pictures, we ate most everything before I started taking pictures. Rob and Rose were very attentive. They told us their story and shared a scrap book of their off season home in New Mexico. They were in the process of training and orienting their summer staff while we enjoyed our meal. The attention to detail, customer first, quality service and passion for excellent food was on full display. The dining is beach rustic and perfect. There's a good amount of parking and it's easy to find them right along coastal highway. What initially seemed like a disappointment today turned into a wonderful discovery of a new favorite.
