We bought fresh fish and scallops a couple weeks ago for dinner. We were very pleased with the quality of the product and will definitely be returning for fresh fish. The prices are a little more expensive than a couple others, but the quality of the fish is very good. A couple years ago we bought oysters and did not have a very good experience, we were not pleased with the "freshness". We weren't going to return because of it, but we're glad we did, the fish quality is a completely different experience! Highly recommended! read more

Best crabs I've every had and I've had many. Their mediums are large back in MD. I was torn with keeping this a secret or providing a review so they can get more business. We found this place several years ago when our regular joint for crabs steamed to go closed up. It's now our go to place for our annual crab feast at the beach. We've never had an issue calling to make a reservation to pick up crabs day of or one day in advance - even on a holiday weekend. The owners are honest when they can't get us extra larges and once when they weren't quite big enough, threw in a few extra. The boys working in the crab hut should be commended to deal with the heat from the crabs in the heat of summertime. As for the fish - never tried it but it looked super fresh (esp the halibut...yummy). Pricing is standard for crabs. Always good service. We'll be back - see you there! read more

New owners this season. I was nervous. This place is my "go to" during the summer (I live here during the summer). I'm spoiled rotten with fresh fish back home and this place is the only one I use down here. They are super friendly and accommodating. Fish selection is fresh. Soft shell crabs were abundant. Crab cakes are the best I've ever had including my snotty seafood market at home. But here is the best news.... one of the new owners (Cat, the wife) is a baker! Oh my, is she good. I made it a point to sample all she had this summer and my kids even ordered me a custom cake for my bday! Delicious! I think my favorite was the chocolate cream pie but it's hard to pick. Over Father's Day weekend we thought we would celebrate on Saturday, ordered 3 dozen #1's price wasn't bad, we ordered early and had a 4:30 pick up, got home the crabs were not hot at all, only a 3 mile ride. several of the crabs were very poor in meat quality and abundance, what we call in Southern Maryland " whiteys" cause they had just shed, but even WORSE then that the remainder of the crabs were reheated and mushy, some were so mushy that they were probably dead when cooked, Danger, danger bad crabs, will never go there again ever. read more

The employees were helpful giving directions over the phone, very friendly in person and the crabs were the right size and great quality. I would definitely go back next time I'm in Bethany. Very pricey for okay seafood; lots of shell and inedible parts of the crab in my crabcake, not much flavor either. Seafood soup wasn't terrific either, kinda watery broth with a lot of potatoes. The jumbo shrimp were fine but very expensive and they charge extra to steam.
