These people are fairly priced, they do excellent work that you can count on. Call ahead always. Because they are so busy! Also while visiting there, you will notice that this is a 100+ year old building, that was a stable in the early 1900's. The brick walls still have the partitions that show where each stall was. Malcolm told me to expect him the next day- he was right on time and told me what I needed. When he came back to repair, he was patient with me when I (my husband) mistakenly got the wrong part. He set up while I ran to the auto parts store to amend my (his) mistake. I came back, he got to work, and was finished within a couple of hours. He was patient, hard-working, fairly priced, and timely. I highly recommend his service. *He did tell me that he is working full time now and only doing this part-time, so be patient if calling him after 3pm. It's worth it.

No complaints. They did great work. I had a Pep Boys oil change coupon so I took my car in today to get that and the inspection done. Took lots of trips so my cars brakes and tie rods quality didn't pass this year. Not islands imports fault, I'm sure they were passing last year. Big quote from Pep Boys. I called Island Imports to ask about their hourly rate since Pep Boys was rather high. Pep boys stated they would allow me to bring in parts to put in, so I was just shopping for an hourly rate and seeing where I could find ways to save. When I told whoever answered the phone at Island Imports this, they started screaming at me that they were not a reputable business and shops aren't allowed to do that. I didn't know that, but I am just trying to figure it all out. I interrupted her in the middle of what she was saying to state that pep boys told me differently, but that I was simply just trying to understand their hourly rates. The conversation devolved from there, I was near tears trying to get words out, and she was still telling me how rude I am for interrupting and implying her shop would ever put on parts I brought in myself. I was just trying to ask what their rate was to understand general costs. It was the most uncomfortable conversation I have ever had with a business and it ended her eventually explaining rates are dependent on a number of factors, and more or less stated that they didn't want my business and I should stay with Pep boys. DO NOT bring your car to Altas Auto Works. I was having an issue with a squeaking noise coming from…read moremy front driver area. Told them to check my strut. Dropped my car off for a diagnostic test ( that cost $157) only for them to tell me that they couldn't diagnose the issue because it rained earlier in the day and driving the car was the ONLY way for them to determine the issue. Told them if they could not diagnose the issue that I would pick my car up. When I come to pick my car up they still charge me 157.00 for a diagnostic test for a different issue that I didn't ask to be tested. Never asked to for my engine and brakes to be checked. Either they don't know what they are doing or couldn't figure it out. I don't believe rain should stop you from doing a job especially if you are going to charge me for work you didn't do. I understand not test driving a car in the rain, but if it has not rained in 5-6 hours there shouldn't be an excuse. How can you be an auto shop and not be able to physically inspect a car to determine the issue? Would not recommend going here.

While my wife, our 8-month-old daughter, and I were traveling from Atlanta to a wedding in Leesburg, Virginia, our car broke down in Richmond. We dropped it off at Leete on a Friday afternoon, and I explained to the mechanics that we desperately needed the car repaired so we could drive back to Atlanta after the wedding weekend. They quoted me $1,000 for the job and promised they would do their absolute best to get us back on the road. The very next day, the mechanic kept me updated with text messages throughout the afternoon and evening. To make a long story short, he stayed and worked on our car until 11:00 PM on a Saturday night! Once it was finished, he let me pay the bill over the phone, which actually turned out to be cheaper than the original quote. He safely hid the keys for us so we could drive our rental car back from Leesburg, swap vehicles, and make it safely home to Atlanta without a single issue.Without the team at Leete, we would have been stranded in Richmond, missing work, and stuck paying for extra hotel nights. I cannot thank them enough. What mechanic stays at a shop until 11:00 PM working on a stranded family's car while constantly keeping them updated? They have earned my highest recommendation!
