Within minutes of calling, the rep at AAA reached out to the NYS DOT and they sent Big Tows. The goal was to take my car off the highway and AAA would take it from there, but instead, they drove my car to Monsey and charged me $233.82. To make a long story short, we tried using Zeille and that didn't work. The driver ultimately dropped my car off and drove me to the ATM machine, in which I gave him $240.00 in cash and in return, he was supposed to give me a receipt for the "allegedly reimbursement". After several text messages, no receipt. Untrustworthy, unethical, dishonest and forever looking for a quick buck. Since this breakdown took place at 1:38 in the morning, they take on a predator role as they rely on the fact that you are in need of help. Not good people and screwing people over is not a good business model.
