On a Sunday I was looking to get one of my tires plugged before I went away for the weekend. I had noticed a screw in there a few days ago. A few places I passed were closed but I saw this one. I pulled in and within 3 minutes it was plugged. The guy there was very straight forward and nice. Busy and straight to the point, but also nice. No B.S. I was not attempted to get talked into buying a new tire or more expensive repair. It was $5, which is what it should be. Brought my car here for a flat fix they informed me nothing was wrong with it and charged me I left and not even 10 Minutes later flat again and wouldn't refund my money after I had to be the one to find the leak in the time I brought it to a tire shop for gods sake!!! read more

It was close to 2pm on Sunday and I passed by 3 different tire shops I knew about and they were all closed. Tried my luck with yelp and found MA Tires and boy am I lucky I did! Luis was very friendly and straight forward. He didn't try to get me to buy new tires or overcharge me. I fixed the tire I came in for and checked all the others as well. while in the bronx on sunday i was on boston rd and had to get a decent spare tire for my nephews honda accord whos doing some traveling while on his college break and i have used this tire shop over the years for tire repairs and spares . i like that they dont try to give me some bulls#it sells pitch and the main guy who runs the shop knows me from my prior visits and i have recommended a few folks as well. they have all the machines and supplies to fix your tires and a good variety of tires as well . i was able to find a almost new tire for 60 bucks and while i was here i had my tires checked which included a basic feel inspection and tire pressure check on all 4 which needed little to no added air. i even got extra spare for my nephew as i haggled a bit with the guy and was able to get the 2nd tire for 50 bucks. so remember check your tires on a semi regular basis and make sure to have a decent spare just in case . read more

***BEWARE*** This place is right by my house and my tire kept getting low so i went here instead of my regular guy further up on Boston Road. They checked the tire i kept loosing air at and said my tire was bad even tho they were not even a year old. They sold me a used tire for $70 and the next day Sunday my tire was low again. I went back to them on Tuesday and asked for my tire back and they claimed it was picked up already although a huge stack of tires sat on the side. I explained that i still had the problem and that i went back to my usual guy who only took my tire off and instantly knew that all that was needed was for my rim to get cleaned out with a metal brush and grinder and the problem was solve for $15.00. So these people clearly do not know how to do their jobs properly or just took an opportunity to get a knew tire on stock and re sell and old tire. No sorry, no nothing. I told him thanks for nothing and i will post so others know.... So if your tire ever has a slow leak keep in mind that you may just need your rim cleaned out..... smh. ***BEWARE*** In life honesty is the best policy. read more

I stopped by here after a discouraging day trying to find a matching set of 4 used tires. There was no phone number to call but I went hoping they'd have what I was looking for. I got lucky! Not only was I met by a friendly smile and quick assistance, but they had exactly what I was looking for. And the price was great! The workers are quick and in the extreme cold yesterday 18 degrees, I wouldn't have expected it. I was done in 30 minutes. I will definitely try this place again in the future! read more
