Our group(six people) booked the reservation online and the outdoor seating is very pretty for the current weather. It is sunny and with a slight breeze which is perfect! I would highly recommend to visit here during the Spring time. There are also wine flights and bubbly wine flight selection as well. -1* services seemed busy and it's harder to get attention for the bill or tea refill. We also were given 2 teapot among 6 people for afternoon tea, so the tea goes by fast and needed frequent water refill.

My family and I really enjoyed our time here! They recommended reserving ahead of time (which I think helps them prep the food) And it was nice they had a vegetarian option for the tea sandwiches (the buratta was my fav) We shared 3 pots of tea with Earl grey being the favorite. We stayed snacking the whole time and only had a couple items left and the end we were satisfactorily full. Of course the ambiance was amazing! It was not very crowded for a Sunday afternoon and we were blessed with perfect weather

Afternoon tea review: For the atmosphere, it can't be beat. Nice shaded area. I was surprised to see ostriches on site. We had to request to move because could smell the fresh nature from ostriches area. The server greeted us warmly and advised us to finish the chicken salad sandwiches and salmon sandwiches first so the meat eating bees and flies don't bug us. We had to rushed eating the sandwiches but they didn't leave us alone. It was the most annoying thing. Service was not attentive. Made us sound weird for requesting butter and paper napkins. Only napkins were available, but butter. One pot of tea allowed to share at a time. The small pot gone by very quickly for 3 of us. Our hands had to non stop waving for server's attention and the flies bugging. Overall we could not enjoy the atmosphere at all. Food was just average. My appetite was low by looking at the Walmart-type of desserts.

This place is so magical! What a beautiful place hidden gem ! The service was incredible and views are amazing . Yummy bites and tea !

I always pass through Sunol after work and decided to explore the town and came across this vineyard. I decided to make reservations with my friends and am so glad I did! We did the Sommelier experience with Chris and we had such a good time. He was knowledgeable and very friendly. Their wine was enjoyable and the vineyard was fun to tour. Chris gave us the tour of the vineyard and the landscape of the venue was so beautiful. Our friends are planning to book another tasting here in a few months since we had an unforgettable experience! Don't forget to take pictures with the ostriches. Be areful because they do bite!

I visited Elliston Vineyards for afternoon tea with a friend, and it was such an adorable spot! The weather was perfect, and the outdoor setting was beautiful. We were greeted and seated quickly, with a cute teapot, cups, and plates ready. Our server recommended a seasonal black tea from China or Tibet, which was light and pleasant. The tier of savory bites and desserts was delicious, though just like other reviews, I expected more than one teapot/flavor like at other tea spots. We were given a glass of cider that tasted like wine! And also some yummy tres leches. A downside was the number of flies and bees, which made it hard to finish our desserts. The staff gave us a to-go box for them but the bees landed in them before we could pack. We ended up walking around the venue, which is absolutely gorgeous - they were even setting up a wedding. Overall, it's a lovely venue with amazing staff--just wish there were more tea & food options for the price and fewer insects.

I am so mad that it took me this long to find Elliston vineyards! The afternoon tea service truly was amazing! Our host was so awesome and I wish I could remember his name but he was an older gentleman and we really appreciated how much info he provided. They did alert us that there was a wedding happening when we arrived which would have cut into our reservation. But rather than rushing us out, they moved us to another smaller area after everyone left so we could stay and finish our tea. We were one of the later reservations and weren't notified about the wedding before we arrived so we really appreciated that they were still trying to ensure that we had a good time especially after driving so far. He brought us out something to sample that he said was really popular as an apology for the overlap on time and we all immediately bought a bottle. I think it's really cool that they are also a hotel or air bnb so I am looking forward to returning soon for an overnight!

I did my research and looked at their website and reviews and still decided to reserve regular tasting for 2 for 12noon on a Sunday. Weather was perfect and so was everything from food, service to ambiance. there were some flies buzzing around our food but I didn't want to use the bug repellent spray I had prepared in advance for fear that it would contaminate our food. I didn't see any flies when we were seated and just figured we wouldn't need it but as soon as the food came out the flies started gathering. For future visits I would recommend bug repellent spray before the drinks and food arrive to your table.

I can't believe it's been 4 years since I've visited this place. A lot has changed. The grounds are still beautiful, tons of places to sit and lounge, comfy lounge chairs. The pond and flowers blooming everywhere were so lovely. Being here felt like a scene from somewhere far away, in an English countryside. The ostriches were fun to see once again, so nice they have them here. That's a treat on its own. We enjoyed the flight, they very good and refreshing, and the escargot and cheese plate were great. Also, shout out to the man who waited and served us that day was the friendliest. Definitely need to come here more often! See you soon Elliston!

We have been able to try various tasting menus and as a group we really like their peacock zin, cuvee dray, and the sparkling. Recently we tried the wine train experience which worked out quite well since it was actually pretty sunny after a rainy November week. As we were celebrating some birthdays they decorated a chalkboard sign with our names and welcomed us with some sparkling. The guide warned us that there would be plenty of pours and some snacks at our final stop, so we grabbed a pack of crackers and some meat to tide us over. The train is really cute with barrel seats. However, be warned that it is quite a bumpy ride, so you may want to finish what's in your glass before it starts. It can also get pretty warm in the train, as we ended up not needing our jackets. We got to taste some of the grapes off the vines and many photo shoot opportunities as our guide told us some fun history tidbits. We ended at the water tower where there was more wine and a snack plate waiting for us. The decor in the water tower was really cute and festive for fall. The minimum for the train is 8 paid spots and the maximum is 14. The trolley could definitely comfortably fit that many. Their merch is really cute, and someone almost always find something to go home with. One last note, we love their French onion dip as well and look forward to having that each visit.

From the breathtaking architecture and lush vineyards to the impeccable service, every detail felt truly magical - it was beyond anything we could have imagined. My husband and I were searching for a venue that captured that rustic Italian/Spanish villa charm - we loved the idea of a wine country wedding, but many Napa/Sonoma venues were completely out of budget. Then we found Casa and it was everything we hoped for and more. We decided to DIY almost all of our décor (so much so that we arrived with a U-Haul!), and I was nervous about how everything would come together. But the staff at Casa Real completely exceeded our expectations. They were incredibly organized, patient, and accommodating, which took so much stress off of us. Despite hiring external day-of coordinators, our on-site coordinator, Jenny, was a standout. She was warm, proactive, and genuinely invested in making our wedding perfect. Every interaction with her felt like we were in great hands. The entire Casa Real team was also very flexible and professional when working with our external vendors -- everyone from our live painter to our photo booth, rental company, and DJ felt supported by the venue staff. One of my favorite moments was during cocktail hour: we barely had time to grab bites ourselves, but our servers made sure we were taken care of. An absolute dream for all of you winos out there. I came across this event on the Alameda County Fair website. I had planned to attend the fair, but couldn't figure out which date that I wanted to go. But once I saw this event, I knew that I just had to go and check it out because it just sounded too good to be true! I paid $45 for the event which included admission into the fair. Parking was not included, and I prepaid for parking online which costed $10. This event was actually held on the field right in the middle of the horse races! I was given a wrist band that included in and out privileges, but I ended up staying there the whole time since I got there about an hour and a half after it started. The event was held between 2 and 5 pm, but I rolled in "fashionably late" (ahem!) at 3:30pm. I actually feel like this was a great time to go because the lines weren't excessively long, and I might have passed out from all of the wine if I would have kept drinking. There were over 40 different wineries pouring their most popular and award winning wines! There were many local wineries as well as a few that I had recently visited while wine tasting in Mendocino county! Way too many to name, but there was so much variety! The pourers were mostly volunteers, so many of them didn't know too much about the wineries and the background of the wines. However, this event wasn't meant to be intimate as there were so many different wineries that were showcasing their wines. There were many shaded tables and chairs around where people could sit. They also had a big wager tent where people could sip while betting on the horse races! I did not participate in the betting this time around, but I would like to do it next year for sure. I must have tried over 50 different wines that day! A word of advice to anyone who is thinking about coming out: drink lots of water and pace yourself! I believe that they had a water stand available in the wagering tent, but I just brought my own. Unfortunately, I didn't follow my own advice and didn't pace myself. I'll let you figure out how the night ended... In any event, the Sip, Savor, & Wager was really fun! I met lots of people, mingled around, and tried many different wines that I had never tried before. There were also a few food trucks around for those who didn't get a chance to eat. This was the first time that this event was held in conjunction with the Alameda County Fair and I think it was an excellent turn out! Being able to get a closeup view of the horse races was icing on the cake. I definitely plan to attend the event next year if they decide to have it again!

I liked how they came out and served them and they kept on coming, I ate so much I was worried I was going to be to full for dinner. The bacon wrapped something, I think dates? And the fried chick peas, sandwiches, ceviche, everything was so good with our drinks! They then opened up the ballroom for us to take our seats, it was a sot down served meal and I chose the fish option. It came with a salad first that was huge and bread and then dinner was served efficiently, food was good! The bathrooms are located behind the stage but overall it's a big ballroom, for lots of space and activities like the Photo Booth and other vendors. Sound was good, decorations and staff were awesome, they also have a bridal room with a bathroom nearby for the wedding party and their stuff. I really enjoyed this venue as a guest, pictures were also really nice! Also well air conditioned on a hot day.

We had a full Hindu wedding ceremony and reception at the Palm Event Center and had an excellent…read moreexperience overall! We reserved our date quite in advance but had a lot of support in the planning. We first worked with Nicole during the initial planning process, and then things were handed off to our coordinator Makenna. She was excellent to work with when we had questions and changes as we got closer to our date. Palm was also very flexible with us viewing the venue with family in advance and scheduling a rehearsal the week of. Our coordinator Makenna was sick last minute so we worked with Melissa on the day of the wedding. Despite coming in last minute, she took great care of us and everything went smoothly! The ceremony package with wedding coordinator was a great value for how smoothly everything went. We definitely recommend working with preferred vendors whenever possible to make things even easier, as they have good relations with the venue and paperwork is easier. We are so glad we got married here and can't wait to visit the winery again in the future! Thanks so much to Makenna and Melissa for making our special day so memorable!
