First time coming here and I had a wonderful time. Super cute,, welcoming and the food was delicious. All the employees were so kind; they really made a wonderful first impression. I definitely would come back.

Mother's Day treat! They opened a little late and then the groups waited a bit to be seated. Nice service. The place is cute and nostalgic. Special menu today. Spiced peach tea, the spice definitely overpowered the peach. Started out with the most delicious strawberry scone that was so soft on the inside and flakey in the outside. Cooked perfectly and served with strawberry and whipped creams. This was the absolute best part of the meal. Champagne with juice was tasty. Tiered tray had strawberry cucumber tea sandwiches, Brie and honey butter pastry bites, egg salad pastry cups, chicken salad sandwiches on croissants, and Fran bread! Everything was savory and wonderful. $68 a sitting and you get one of each item per person. A little on the high side compared to other spots. Dessert included sugar cookies, chocolate mouse raspberry cups, and tea cakes. A sweet ending for sure. Thank you!

My first experience having a three-course high tea! I visited Tyme For Tea & Co for a friend's birthday and was pleasantly surprised by how beautifully decorated the inside was. We started with Pumpkin Spice and Chai tea. Out of the two, most of us preferred the Chai. The Pumpkin Spice tea tasted more like cinnamon than anything else. We also tried the "Cauldron Witches Blood" sparkling cider, made with berry syrup. It was good, but definitely on the sweeter side. For the small bites, my favorite was the Turkey Jack Slider. It was simple but packed with flavor from the Dijon mustard. The turkey and pepper jack cheese on the soft slider buns were delicious, and the portions overall left me extremely full and content. My only complaint was the service. It felt a bit lacking, as the servers filled only half our group's water and drinks, leaving the other side without refills.

Everything was so good!! Tyme for Tea is located in Niles Fremont. There are plenty of free parking whether it's street parking or at the plaza parking lot across the street. I was able to book my reservation for afternoon tea via email where I provided my name, date and time, and how many people and I got a confirmation pretty fast! Staff were super nice, we were greeted immediately. We were the second group to arrive so we were able to pick our seating. But it was pretty much empty on a Saturday at 11am. I think one other person came after us. They immediately brought out two teas for us to try. I can't remember what the blends were, but I remember one having kiwi and the other one having cinnamon. The kiwi one was my favorite out of the two. The scones came out first and I absolutely loved it. It was made fresh. And the cream and apricot cream thing was delicious! This definitely had to be one of my top four things I ate here. Then we picked our teas which were spiced apple, spiced peach, and the strawberry one. The spiced peach was the one that I chose and I loved it until I tried the strawberry one. I am a simple girl and I typically drink jasmine tea but I thought I would expand my horizon by drinking fruit teas and the strawberry one was such a surprise. It very much had a strawberry taste, and it was naturally sweet without having to add any sugar. This had to be my favorite tea out of the five that I tried. Our tier came out and on the top we had cucumber sandwiches, the middle we had some sort of spinach pastry and something with mushrooms in it. The bottom tier had some sort of cheese bread and I believe a chicken salad sandwich. Everything was served fresh and hot except for the sandwiches. As someone who does not like mushrooms, I thought that pastry thing was actually pretty good as well as the spinach pastry and the cheese bread. I am not a a fan of cucumbers, so I thought it tasted okay but I did enjoy the chicken salad sandwich. Lastly, desserts, we had shortbread, a blueberry chocolate cup, and these little cake things. They were all a surprise to me and pretty good. I didn't realize how soft the shortbread was going to be. As someone who is not the biggest fan of dark chocolate, I thought the blueberry, cream, chocolate cup blended very well with each other. And out of the 3 cubed cakes, I got the one with red velvet inside, which is my all time favorite. I think the other two were chocolate and carrot cake. I wish I paid a little more attention when the staff was telling us what was what. I could see how this could be an issue for some people, but I loved that the staff let us enjoy ourselves. We didn't really need them to check up on us because we were chatting our ears off. I also love that they provide the cost on their website which includes tax and a service charge so we knew exactly how much we were going to be billed and was not surprised when we got the bill. All in all, we had an amazing experience and I can't wait to come back. I also bought my first tea cup set here years ago and still use it to this day!

Came here with some friends to celebrate a birthday. The place was so nicely decorated with Christmas decorations everywhere. For drinks, we were able to choose champagne or cider. We chose cider which was pretty good. The two teas that they served us were Gingerbread and Christmas. I enjoyed both teas, but kind of favored the Gingerbread one more. They had a nice selection of sandwiches, savories, and dessert. All of them were yummy. At the end they were handing out take out boxes for anyone who didn't finish. (But we finished all of ours!) Also at the end, they played, "Santa Claus is Coming to Town" and Santa Claus came to each table and handed out candy canes to each person. That was a nice, festive added touch. Everyone was so nice!

My boyfriend's first high tea experience was here! He told me how he wanted to visit the Niles area because his coworker recommended for him to visit. I've been to Niles before a few times in the past with friends, and it's a old timey little town area full of vintage stores I remembered. He saw that they have a high tea place so we went there around 12:40pm. We didn't have reservation, but the host said that we can be seated with 1:00pm. There was only 1 or 2 tables of people at the time in that place. My bf and I browsed around their store and checked out the neat trinkets. Then we were seated. They didn't give us any menus and just brought two pots of teas for us to have. I asked him can we not select our teas, and he said that we can, but to try these and if we don't like them then I can select another. He left us with two different tea pots, which I don't really remember what exact flavors they were as this was back in June. I think one was a sort of fruity tea while another has a bit more spice to it. When the server came back, I told him that I wanted to get the Lavendar Dreams tea as I had my eye on that one of all the flavor of teas they offer. It took them awhile to bring me my pot of tea because they forgot about it, and we asked about it when one of the servers while by. I liked the Lavendar Dreams tea, but I usually prefer rose flavor tea whenever I go to high tea places. I still didn't like how they didn't give us a menu initially to let us a pick our teas. My boyfriend ended sticking with one of the teas that they gave us. He said that he's okay with the sort of fruity one. They brought out the tray with the food, which I didn't like the tray because it's not the iconic layout with each layer tier. The bottom two layers are just on the same level while with one high tier. The sandwiches were pretty good so was the scone. I didn't like the pastries because it was either too sweet or has an off-taste about it. The place is very vintage style and reminding me of Victorian, which their tea set is called "Victorian Tea." Very fitting. I like the tub of vintage hats and fascinators (just learn that word recently from the Floor show! Lol). So cute! Great for putting on for photos. Pricing was $45 which is not bad. Other places that I've been to were about $65 per person, but better quality so I get the price difference. I'm glad that my boyfriend got to experience high tea now, and I did have a lovely time with him regardless. I just know there are better high tea places elsewhere because of my past experiences at them.

We came here on a Saturday morning as a group of four. Although the shop interior is spacious and charming, and the service was pleasant, we were ultimately disappointed with our experience, especially for the high price. We did not get to choose our tea even though the website said we could. The tea was also just okay - not offensive but not very flavorful or distinctive. We quite liked the scones and savory foods, but the sweets were overly sweet and pretty unimpressive. Especially with the location being somewhat out of the way, I don't think we will be back and we wouldn't recommend this place to others.

What a pleasant surprise. I never knew this place much less Niles area of Fremont existed. Came here via a Cupertino Senior Center Trip where we had tea here at Tyme for Tea and then road the Niles Canyon Train of Lights. This is a cute tea place within a little antique store. They had the cutest things so you can shop before or after your tea. Let's start with the tea and the whole tea time experience. We were seated right away with cute little tea cups at each place. We were then provided with two teas - one was the house special - something with strawberry and the second was orange and cinnamon tea. Both were great. We had someone in the group that wanted decaf and got the decaf Earl Grey. Was nice they can accommodate. We started with the pumpkin scone and that was a HUGE HIT - it was how scones are supposed to be - not dense but light and had the perfect pumpkin flavor. Reminded me of the scones I had at high tea at the Empress in Victoria, BC. The savory sandwiches were delicious. I can't remember what the hot little tart was but that was a delicious bite. Perfect with the tea. The desserts were good as well and with all the food they were able to quickly refill our teapots with hot tea. Overall had a great time - cute quaint little place. Service was friendly and cozy. What a cute gem. Will recommend to my daughter who has a friend living in Fremont area and they can bring their little girls....

We absolutely adore Tyme for tea! My girlfriends and I have been patrons for many years and each time we visit it's very special. We love all the little delights, from the cute decor, to the shop our front, to the lovely cozy vibe of the tea house. We love it. My personal favorites are the scones! And the teas are delightful. Service is always incredible here too. Support small businesses!!

Had a nice tea here today celebrating a dear friend's Birthday! We were welcomed and seated in a charming table setting, greeted by our server who was attentive and charming. We choose the Victorian tea with champagne which was so tasty. There is a variety of choices...Bellini, Mimosa and a peach champ cocktail! How fun!!! The scones were amazing and the tea rear was filled with so many tasty bites of goodness. We enjoyed our time here! We will be back

3 tier platter: cucumber sandwich with Brie pastry puffs and egg salad cups with chicken salad croissant sandwiches and cheese bread

The food was presented very nicely and some of the things we received were great. Service was very poor though and our table was never checked on by any staff. When we stopped to ask someone for a different tea, they handed us a menu to observe their options but never came back. For 3 people, the bill was over $200. This is a one-time place to visit, I wouldn't come back

Five stars for the service and themed event for Halloween. I don't think I'd come back unless it was for an occasion though. Mainly because for the price I was expecting more. I guess to me the value want really there. But if you for for the experience itself and go with a group of good friends, you'll probably have a good time. Overall it was a cute experience. The food was just fine. Definitely set your expectations to have small bites throughout your reservation. The best drink option was the chai, while the pumpkin spice needed sugar and milk to give it some flavor. Other: Single use bathroom. Street parking and a parking lot across the street as another option. The Niles neighborhood itself is fun to walk around and explore. There are plenty of antique and thrift type stores to browse before or after.

I've come here a few times through the years, and it hasn't lacked quality. Tea selection is vast, and for someone who enjoys savory over sweet, their sandwiches were *chefs kiss.* My favorite was the lemon curd and raspberry preserves with the scone!! So good, and the chicken sandwiches surprised me in a good way. The quirky ambiance makes for a vintage, cottage core Mad Hatter tea party vibe. Love it!

I remember it being just okay, but I guess each franchise owner does things a little bit differently because I enjoyed my drink here! It's a super casual boba spot that shares a space with a Chinese take out restaurant. There's some counter seating, probably for the students since there's a high school across the street and lots of zoomers there after school. Decent amount of parking in the lot. You can order ahead, order at any of their 2 touch screen kiosks, or even order from staff if need be (saw this happen). It did take some time for our drinks to come out but that was because there was only 1 staff working before his colleague clocked in and it was right after school when other students were ordering lots of drinks. I got the new on the menu Buckwheat Longjing Tea Latte. There's whipped cream and candied pecans on top. Reminds me a lot of what Chayan and Auntea Jenny are doing. Quite trendy. I got this at 25% sweet and it's not bad. Perfect level of sweetness that doesn't overpower the tea and the mix of whipped cream and a bite here or there of the candied nuts adds the a nice sugary pang to it. You can taste the roasted flavor of the buckwheat. Good stuff. I noticed that they also have the elegant "Oriental" style cups and the thing 3 prong flute straws. The big Chinese franchises are doing that and I don't recall the SoCal location having that so, it really does depend on which one you go to. This is the only singular franchise location in the United States (at least as I'm writing this and has been like this for awhile), which is insane to me, considering that it was quite hyped back then and remains a favorite to many. Hopefully one day, they'll be more locations, but it's literally been years. In that case, I'll have visiting SoCal friends with me try. Simple and casual appearance. Love the wood accent on the counters and tables, along with the green walls and descriptions of the tea. There's a bit of it that reminds of what the old XFT location looks like from the RH location, but only just a little bit. You can order ahead for pick up and they're quite efficient. The only times there was even a semblance of a fisted wait, at least when I've gone, was due to orders of like 10-30 drinks for catering or an office boba run. Solid tea that's steeped really well. If you adjust for much lower sugar, you can enjoy the quality much better. I feel like with the influx of the boba wars (at least in SoCal), many of the Taiwanese franchises (Guiji, Chayan, UG, etc.) just don't have enough of a strong flavor to compete with their Chinese competitors, but Brian Black Tea, I think would be a strong contender if they were drafted in the SoCal boba wars. I've enjoyed all of their milk teas, but my favorite has always been the Era Milk Tea with the slight coffee taste to it and the Retro Milk Tea with the subtle roasted flavor and hint of cocoa to it. I usually get 25% sweet and it's perfect. NorCal must when I visit.

Their double matcha had a mild umami flavor and wasn't very sweet. Def more for people who are into matcha for the profile than the sweetness. Loved that matcha foam though. Their einspanner was fireeee. Slightly strong coffee flavor and I enjoyed how the milk foam topping didn't overpower the drink. Would order this again!

The steaming technique is unconventional, but it surprisingly yields a balanced, delicious and customizable cup of chai. The tea flavor is somewhat lighter than what you'd get from boiling it, but I find it refreshing and it allows the other spices to really come through and deliver the bold flavor that is necessary in a cup of chai. I combined the ginger and cardamom and it was excellent. The ginger has a delicate punch without it knocking you out. The cardamom level is perfect and is not at all bitter or soapy. There's a person on here who gave this place 2 stars because he burnt his own tongue from drinking hot chai and that's just so funny and silly to me, I hope his ego is feeling better. As for me, I'll be back for sure!

With the musical vibe and local chai shop, this place was offering the full experience. It is located in the corner of the plaza towards the far end, parking on a weekend could be difficult. We visited on a Saturday evening and the place was buzzing with people, trying to get a seat or place the order. It is a self service location with order being placed at the front, and calling your name when it's ready. We ordered the bun maska, a veggie burger, and a chai. The order prep time was quick despite it being busy. The bun maska, had the tooty fruity inside which is not something I personally like. I did not like the butter used inside, but it was otherwise good. The chai was great and seemed fresh. The veggie burger was very Indian style which was refreshing to try.

Next way to catch my eye is definitely a pistachio or pistachio flavored something. Qamaria Yemeni Coffee had me. I like a coffee that is bold yet smooth. I Def can still drink the "ashtray" tasting burn junk, but not something I prefer. The drink I got: pistachio latte was definitely bold enough and very smooth. Everyone else enjoyed their drinks. My son did discover that he wasn't a fan of "spiced" type of drinks though. I did warn him the drink he chose had cardamom in it but he's the fafo type. My daughter isn't a coffee drinker so her refresher was perfect. The location was easy to find. Lots of parking nearby. Unfortunately they entrance had some kind of mishap and was boarded up, luckily there is a second door. Seemed like a nice neighborhood so I'm wondering if it was just a car accident... otherwise, the inside was very cozy. Total middle East vibes. 100% lounge/workspace. Small bites available, did not try though. Definitely a recommend in my book. Legit spot all around. Prices on par with others we've been visiting around California. About $7-$9 range, quality tho.
