The clinic has two dentists, four hygienists, and a couple front desk staff. The office is located in an office park building in Maple Grove. The waiting room is so welcoming. It's tastefully decorated for kids. Cartoons on the TV, free Pac-Man arcade game, lots of books, and magazine for the adults. The front desk staff was very nice and helpful. The exam space is great, too. It's an open-air concept with benches and art for privacy rather than walls or exam rooms. My favorite part of our visit was the staff. As someone who despises trips to the dentist myself, I have put off my son's first visit for years. At 4.5, I worried that he would be scared and non-compliant. But our hygienist made him feel very comfortable. I appreciated that she showed him the chair and let him try each of the tools before using them. The cleaning was very gentle. She took breaks as often as he asked. After he picked out a prize and got a sticker for being cavity-free, we saw the dentist (Dr. Borodkin). She reviewed his chart and took the time to review his X-rays in detail. I was worried that she would scold me for waiting so long to bring him in. Not at all! She was informative and supportive, not judgmental. We left with a 'swag' bag - toothbrush, paste, a water bottle, a really nifty flosser, and a save the date for our next appointment. As an adult with dentist anxiety, I had MUCH delayed taking my kids and both had cavities... what I had dreaded (and expected). However, the way the staff and Dr. Venetia helped make them feel comfortable and calm (and informed about what's happening every step of the way) was nothing short of miraculous. No tears. No pain. No fear... for the kids or for me! :) I'm SO impressed with their approach, kindness and knowledge about kids and their teeth. Thank GOODNESS I found this clinic.

He provides superlative care, but it is his personalization that stands out. He always recalls past visits, asks about the family and strives to find excellent cost effective solutions to dental issues best for the patient. He truly cares about his patients and takes the time to explain exactly what the procedure is he is about to do. Dr. Wong constantly asks about your comfort while he is working. Fast forward now to a few weeks ago. While out walking, I tripped on raised concrete which resulted in me taking a terrible fall, "face planting" my head on the sidewalk. Besides other injuries from the fall, I had a loose traumatized upper front tooth. I sought out Dr. Wong's professional diagnosis to save my tooth. A root canal was advised and he drilled VERY accurately into the tooth to remove the damaged nerves and remove any bleeding, thus saving my tooth and the color of the tooth! I can't thank him enough for his immediate action and expertise! Dr. Fu Wong is truly a specialist in the Dental Field and a very caring man!

I recently called to get my son scheduled for some cavities while he is home for the holidays. I asked what he needed, and they replied "you should ask him"...really? Then was told that the same doctor (from his exam a year and a half ago) has to complete the services, otherwise he would need a new exam, x-rays, etc. Wow...seems like any doctor should be able to look and see what needs to be done??? Unfortunately, that doctors' schedule is full for a while...we'll need to find another dental provider who has a bit more flexibility. Cleanings are also booked out so many months...thinking perhaps they shouldn't accept any NEW customers until they are caught up and can take care of their current ones.

My spouse went to their appt this past week and the dental office told him they stopped taking our insurance despite the letter stating we had thru 12/1. No one ever bothered to contact me or my spouse to inform us of this. A waste of time! Had they contacted us in a timely manner we would have cancelled the appt. They are backed up you need 2 outstanding appts at all times else you will waste your 2 cleanings per year. Staff here are decent. The location is clean and well maintained.

Dr. Weimar is always an inspiration with his wise words. 12/6/2022 - another visit to have an implant done. Again staff and Dr Weimar were exceptionally pleasant and competent. I always feel comfortable and in "good hands" here. 10/12/ 2022 - came in again, to have my implant checked. They will split your appointment into two talking about deep cleaning, take you to the front office to check with the insurance. The front office staff will print out a statement showing you that insurance covers both services, and you get to pay for anesthetic which is $10. The day I went for the second cleaning I had to wait for a long time because of technical difficulties. I got done and I could not pay the $10 and the lady said they would call me the next day. The following day, a call came in right at the time when they were to about to close, and a statement had been sent of $200 plus. I called and somebody stated they had closed, I asked why the statement was sent after close time if she had nobody to answer my questions, she told me to pay tthe $10 then would have billing look into it. She explained that they call insurance, but they do not know what will be covered. First of all when they sat down with me on the initial visit and informed me that insurance would cover everything that was a LIE. The staff on the line said, I should wait for the claim to come back, and they do not know the timeline, alternatively I could just pay the statement balance $200 plus, they lied to me, falsified information and just wanted it paid, this is like STEALING from people. The only resolution being offered was, I am sorry. They know very well that if you do not pay, after a certain time you will be taken to collections, spoil your credit and still get paid. This is very unfair to people and I think most people do not even check how much they are being told to pay and they just charge the card, and continue falsfying information. Save yourself the headache and get a genuine, trustworthy place.

She is the most down to earth medical professional that I've met! She really takes her time getting to know her patients on a personal level, which is nice. Regarding the service, she always makes sure that you're comfortable and doesn't force you into any procedures that you don't want/need. All of the staff at this office are great! They're all friendly, helpful, and accommodating. It's so fun to hear the staff laughing and having fun while you're there; it's clear that they like each other and doing their job as a team. Going to Jamie is like visiting friends! I've recommended several people to Jamie because of my great experience with Jamie and her wonderful team!
