The front office staff will print out a statement showing you that insurance covers both services, and you get to pay for anesthetic which is $10. The day I went for the second cleaning I had to wait for a long time because of technical difficulties. I got done and I could not pay the $10 and the lady said they would call me the next day. The following day, a call came in right at the time when they were to about to close, and a statement had been sent of $200 plus. I called and somebody stated they had closed, I asked why the statement was sent after close time if she had nobody to answer my questions, she told me to pay tthe $10 then would have billing look into it. She explained that they call insurance, but they do not know what will be covered. First of all when they sat down with me on the initial visit and informed me that insurance would cover everything that was a LIE. The staff on the line said, I should wait for the claim to come back, and they do not know the timeline, alternatively I could just pay the statement balance $200 plus, they lied to me, falsified information and just wanted it paid, this is like STEALING from people. The only resolution being offered was, I am sorry. They know very well that if you do not pay, after a certain time you will be taken to collections, spoil your credit and still get paid. This is very unfair to people and I think most people do not even check how much they are being told to pay and they just charge the card, and continue falsfying information. Save yourself the headache and get a genuine, trustworthy place.

David is an excellent hygienist who is super thorough and gentle and always does an awesome job making my teeth look and feel great. Dr. Wang is an excellent dentist, very friendly; I've had to have one filling replaced with him (it cracked years ago, and he finally convinced me to replace it) and although it did get/stay a little sensitive for a while now it's perfect. He was really good checking in with me every time and giving me tips on how to help with the sensitivity issues. The front staff is usually very friendly and helpful as well. I've been going here for a few years and only had one incident that I can remember where maybe somebody was having a bad day (hey it happens to all of us!) :) all in all I definitely recommend going here for your dental care needs.

That tells me that they did the cheapest, easiest fix, and did not permanently fix the problem of my veneer falling out, and the chances of me having to return would be great and I would have to pay more money. Now he expects me to pay more money for sub par work that wasn't meant to be a permanent fix. Nobody explained any of my options and now this is the THIRD time I have to have this tooth/veneer replaced. Smiles Dentistry as a corporation name did the work, so smiles dentistry should fix the problem. The doctor basically told me to go find the original doctor that initially did the work and have him guarantee the work. This owner at Maple Grove did the work the second time and when I came in the third time his first statement was I figured you would be back. That doesn't tell me that he fixes teeth to permanently help the client. He fixes them to a level that is sub par and just do happens more beneficial for his finances. From the moment we arrived, every person we interacted with was fast, efficient, and incredibly professional. They got us in quickly, examined the puncture, and clearly explained what they were seeing and what needed to be done next. They not only successfully removed the back molar, but also found and removed small shard fragments left behind in another extraction site from the earlier appointment. Throughout the whole process they were patient, kind, and very reassuring with both me and my son, checking in on his comfort level and walking us through each step so there were no surprises. What impressed me most was how they made a stressful, last‑minute emergency visit feel smooth and organized, almost as if it had been planned in advance. The surgeon then proceeded to extract the teeth and did so with care, always checking in with me to see how I was doing. Thee was even a moment when we had to stop so I could be numbed a bit more. I saw Dr. Lam and she tapped around that tooth but couldn't find the spot that was causing my pain. The pain had only been there for around two weeks, which she said wasn't long enough to investigate further. She suggested it was from clenching my teeth at night and recommended a night guard. I have had brief episodes of clenching in the past and it results in a totally different dull jaw ache so I said I really did not think that was the issue. I also already have a night guard. I then proceeded to leave town for almost two months and decided to just avoid hitting that tooth until I could come back and have it checked out again. I had told them I might go to another clinic while I was out of town but ultimately decided to wait because I overall trusted Almond and wanted continuity. Last week, I scheduled an appointment for this afternoon. This morning, I got a call informing me that my appointment was being canceled because Dr. Lam didn't want to see me and none of the other dentists wanted to take over. All because I disagreed with her initial conclusion after a 10 minute exam, based on knowing what normal and abnormal pain is like in the teeth I've had for 25+ years. The clinic has two dentists, four hygienists, and a couple front desk staff. The office is located in an office park building in Maple Grove. The waiting room is so welcoming. It's tastefully decorated for kids. Cartoons on the TV, free Pac-Man arcade game, lots of books, and magazine for the adults. The front desk staff was very nice and helpful. The exam space is great, too. It's an open-air concept with benches and art for privacy rather than walls or exam rooms. My favorite part of our visit was the staff. As someone who despises trips to the dentist myself, I have put off my son's first visit for years. At 4.5, I worried that he would be scared and non-compliant. But our hygienist made him feel very comfortable. I appreciated that she showed him the chair and let him try each of the tools before using them. The cleaning was very gentle. She took breaks as often as he asked. After he picked out a prize and got a sticker for being cavity-free, we saw the dentist (Dr. Borodkin). She reviewed his chart and took the time to review his X-rays in detail. I was worried that she would scold me for waiting so long to bring him in. Not at all!
