    Steak sub

Did some door dash take out. Food came pretty quickly. It arrived packaged well and very much still very hot. Got some tacos and 3 subs (first time getting subs) They are always solid with the tacos and burritos. Seasoned well, and filing ratios are good. The subs did not disappoint either. I love love that they have seeded rolls!!! We got two half subs they were so packed and could have made a whole sub out of it. Hate to say it but feel the subs are way better than their tacos. I'm glad we took the plunge.

This is what $4.10 gets you at ETS for their overpriced tacos. Essentially, it's a bowl of lettuce!

Love there tacos. BUT Standing here 20 minutes now waiting on a taco and burrito. I wish I got a receipt to show the time. Employees are clueless. Union guy out front asking people not to eat here. I said no to him. I should have listened to him. Uber eat drivers, Other customers standing waiting, even waiting to order. orders coming out wrong, missing items Guy behind me waiting almost 40 minutes FOR HIS FOOD WOW!

I don't suffer from Buffalove and I'm pretty realistic about how Buffalo food stacks up to other cities. But in a city famous for its wings, subs in Buffalo are really underrated. The Italian sub at ETS is as good as you'd get anywhere. Better even.

Prices a bit high for soup consistency beef tacos and burritos. I mean if you're on that 420 and need some quick don't care what it is munchies go for it. Not the absolute worst tacos I've had but def not the best. My biggest gripe is quality to price ratio. 5 bucks for one taco, no thanks. Not for that.

Stopped in at ETS to experience a Buffalo staple. The food was descent, but the service was slow. They took forever to make the food and the drink refills seemed to take twice as long. We would come back, but I hope the service picks up. They did have a great vegetarian menu as well!

I love this place, i really do, i have for years. I just feel its a tad overpriced. Okay the food is good, i love these buffalonian, american style tacos (i don't know how else to describe them, but certainly not authentic) with fries (kind of like something you'd get at jim's steakout). Pretty decent sized menu, definitely something on there for everyone. The quesadillas are lovely too. I havent had one thing from here that i didn't like. My only issue is...that it is essentially a fast food spot. Like the tacos, although great, are very similar to....mighty taco? But three times the price. No shade! I love the spot! But a two taco meal for 16 dollars is wild. I only stop here when i'm feeling frugal. Actually, one last issue, the seating SUCKS! I guess its so people don't hang around too long? But those benches and stools are so hard, slippery, cold and uncomfortable. Sometimes i dont want to eat my greasy mexican style-food in the car, ya know? Overall, i like ets. Just can't go there too much without going broke. Overall, 3/5. Their fries are an easy 5/5. Xoxox

We had breakfast at ETS. I had a breakfast burrito with eggs and beef, made spicy. It was so good. Just like I remember ETS tasting like! We also had a yougut parfait, very good. Had another burrito with bacon , egg, bean, and cheese. A+ very good. Had potato mashers, mmm tasty. The breakfast menu is new. All the items we had were very tasty and made with quality ingredients. Thank you for the free coffee. We will be back. Open at 7:00 AM.

Ham Sub - wheat roll, added hot peppers

Meh. It's fine but I feel like many years ago it used to be better. Went in for a ham sub and waffle fries. The staff were friendly and they're practicing covid rules it seems: social distancing and cleanliness. However, you can't use the restrooms. They're not allowing that apparently...maybe because they'll have to clean them? Weak. Fries were great. Not sure how one can screw that up though. Sub was just ok. I asked for the oil dressing on the side and never got it. They don't have pickles to add which is something I like very much. Not enough ham on the sub either. I'd prefer Mike's Subs on Delaware in Kenmore. Guess ETS is ok in a pinch but Jim's Steakout is across the street, too. There are a few seats outside to eat but only about 3. Inside has plenty of seating but due to covid spacing out is necessary.

"Nachos" in a "pretty big bag"

Elmwood Taco and Lies- Here are the "nachos". I asked what were on the nachos "cheese and guac or salsa if you get those." I see no cheese, this is a bag of chips. I asked "how big are the nachos?" They said "they come in a pretty big bag" - regular bottle of Cholula for reference. Not bad chips, definitely overpriced, just don't false advertise. Fix your menu, I'd buy nachos if you actually made them. One star so you can be motivated to not lie so much.

    6" sub NOT the 12"

I ordered a milkshake and a 12" cold sub to go. It took over 10 minutes for my food to be done, and watched several people who ordered after me get their food and leave. I got home and opened my sub to find a 6" not a 12". Totally got jipped and because it took so long I couldn't check it while I was still there.

I ordered the Rosemary Frites, which were a delicious appetizer. I had the maple salmon salad as my meal, and it was amazing! The chèvre was so fresh, the greens were great, and the salmon, wow! A delicious meal that I got two meals out of because I took half of it home, as it's a pretty large portion. Originally, I was given the wrong order that I couldn't have due to dietary restrictions, but the waitress was very kind and gave me the correct one, as well as taking it off of my bill. I really appreciated that! We got macarons as dessert and they were super yummy as well. Overall, I really enjoyed my time at Coco, and it will be in my rotation of "special occasion" local restaurants going forwards!

My steak frites plate had a very large serving of French fries and a bit more salad with a few pickled onions. I ordered my steak medium rare. About 1/2 of it was medium rare. The other 1/2 was well done. The seasoning was very nice, but disappointed to have well done steak. Our waitress was nicely attentive, as was her assistant who kept our water glasses filled. The restaurant was quite busy, getting busier as we enjoyed our dinners. I am glad we had an early reservation. I might have missed this note on the menu or website, but there is a credit card usage surcharge. Luckily some of our party had enough cash. The guitar music was lovely, but our table was too close and conversation was a little difficult.

I was told those are only available during brunch -- totally fine, I get that certain specials have set times. However, I then tried to order the martini flight that was listed on the drink menu and was told that was seasonal and no longer available. That was a bit confusing, especially since it hadn't been removed. I also wasn't offered any alternative flavors or suggestions, which felt like a missed opportunity. I ended up ordering their standard espresso martini -- which they seem to pride themselves on -- but unfortunately it tasted burnt. It also appeared that the espresso isn't made fresh, as there was a bottle of espresso sitting on the bar. For a cocktail that really depends on quality espresso, that was disappointing. However my friend did try another cocktail off their drink menu and it was delicious. To finish our visit, I waited about 10 minutes just to get my check while the bartender was engaged in conversation with other bartenders. It made the experience feel inattentive and frustrating. The space itself has a cool vibe, but overall the experience fell short of expectations. I'd love to see more consistency between the menu, social media, and what's actually available, fresher preparation for a cocktail they promote so heavily, and more attentiveness at the bar.

Bao buns: My mom ordered these because they were labeled GF, but she definitely should have mentioned that she has an intolerance to gluten, because the add on of "salt & pepper shrimp" is not GF (not indicated on menu). The shrimp had a crispy flour coating. Also the buns were much smaller than anticipated, so this appetizer does not work for a filling meal. Falley burger: Description sounded fantastic with the homemade chip dip and salt & pepper chips, but unfortunately both lacked in flavor. I honestly couldn't taste either and the chips were more of greasy potato slices. I'm not much of a pickle fan, but I'm glad they were on the burger to give it some taste. On a good note, there were plenty of fries. It was sad to see this place dead on a Thursday evening. We were the only ones dining in, had a few take-outs come through. They do have food/drink specials throughout the week and the cocktail drink menu looks fun. Maybe we just ordered the wrong things or perhaps it was an off-day in the kitchen.

I honestly can't remember the last time I was able to order breakfast at a restaurant. While visiting Buffalo with my boyfriend in November 2025, his college friend spent the morning taking us to several restaurants trying to find a place where I could safely eat. After striking out everywhere else, Betty's was our last stop--and what a blessing it was! Alice, our host, was warm, friendly, attentive, and genuinely cared about making sure my food allergies were handled safely. I was able to order a bacon, "egg" and avocado sandwich made to accommodate my allergies, and it was incredible. I hadn't enjoyed a breakfast sandwich from a restaurant in over a decade! It was so delicious that I went back again before leaving Buffalo and even ordered another sandwich to take home. For anyone living with food allergies, you know how rare it is to find a restaurant that truly understands safe food preparation while still serving amazing food. I'm from New York City, and I still haven't found a place that compares. 1,000 stars! I can't recommend Betty's highly enough.

**Catered Event: Board of Directors' Dinner**…read more Numerous locals recommended Bacchus Wine Bar & Restaurant as an excellent choice for formal occasions, and it proved to be a wonderful venue for our Board of Directors' dinner. I hosted a dinner for twenty (board members and their guests) and was especially impressed by the catering manager, who patiently guided me through the many decisions involved in planning the event and personally welcomed me on the evening of the dinner. The waitstaff were attentive and seemed to anticipate our needs, and the private dining room was both relaxing and quiet. We chose the "King's Table," which allowed all twenty guests to sit together around one large table. The room and table settings were beautiful, creating an elegant yet comfortable atmosphere. The event menu allowed me to select three salads, three entrées, and two desserts for our guests. Printed menus were placed at every setting, offering a gracious welcome and making the ordering process easy and efficient. I heard from many guests that their meals were excellent. I especially enjoyed the beet salad with goat cheese and the crème brûlée cheesecake. My filet mignon, unfortunately, was tougher than I had expected. The pecan-crusted salmon looked marvelous, and I found myself wishing I had chosen it instead. The pricing was also extremely reasonable for the quality of the setting, service, and overall experience. Each dinner was $85 and included a salad, entrée, and dessert. Bacchus provided a beautiful and memorable evening for our board, and I would gladly recommend it for a private dinner or formal gathering.
