In the summer of 2012 -- one of my closest friends were having a wedding and as a part of the bridal party I was very involved with the wedding dress shopping, cake tastings, flower arrangements and the music. We found Inviscus when they were first starting out but everything was very professional. They have big set ups and small set ups depending on how many people are attending your event. Since my friend had a budget for the wedding, they were willing to really help us out with the pricing. We had less than 200 people, so it was on the cheaper side. The DJ who worked our event was Khoi. Prior to the event, he asked the couple for genre preference as well as if their song list for the specific parts of the wedding (special dances, etc). Khoi made the process as stress free as possible for my friends. On the day of the event, Khoi arrived at the reception spot early and he had plenty of time to set up. He was very cheerful and upbeat, perfect for the occasion. The overall event was quite a success!! My friends loved him so much, we sent him home with some of the extra tuxedo cake we had from the reception!! Recently one of my cousins announced their wedding and they are in that incredibly stressful planning process. They asked me if I had any suggestions for photographers, DJs, bakeries, florist, and so on. Inviscus was definitely the first entertainment group that popped into my mind. I remember they were profession and reliable. I felt like customer service was important to them, and they were really accommodating with the budget. Clearly I would strongly recommend Inviscus!! They were so great, I even got my cousin to book their wedding entertainment with this company. These events we have booked them for are more on the formal side, but I know they also do a lot of lighting and more of the party-scene DJ-ing as well!! I can't express how much my hubby(!) and I loved having Inviscus as our wedding DJ. Our crowd of guests included DJs and music lovers alike, and everyone old and young came to us after the wedding to let us know how much they loved our DJs and music! I was unce-ing during the cocktail hour and throughout the night with all our friends. Who doesn't like to nod along to Boyce Avenue, JT/MJ, and TSwift?!? It was a great ambiance and we even had some sing-along going on randomly throughout the night which was so much fun. I sent them emails the day before and the day of, and they were very prompt with their replies. Everything turned out great, and I think Inviscus really helped us set the environment for a really fun wedding. They are super creative, and provide great support and resources for additional wedding needs and plans. Matt and the Inviscus team were so awesome to work with! During our initial meeting, we felt like we hit it off with Matt right away. These guys are genuinely passionate about their craft and are not your run of the mill cheesy wedding DJs. My husband and I decided on a NYE wedding because we wanted to have a big blow out celebration, and Inviscus did not disappoint in helping us execute our vision. They created a full on production with lighting, quality surround sound, and even custom designed a countdown projection map for us to make our NYE countdown that much more special. Matt, Khoi, and Josh went above and beyond and were so humble and down to earth throughout the whole process. We gave Josh (our DJ) a list of songs to work into the set list for the evening, and he seamlessly played all of our requests while adding their own touch of expertise to the genres. Everyone was grooving through dinner and once it was time to party, nobody sat back down! Khoi handled the production, and the lighting and timing of everything was on point. Our friends said they felt like they were getting down in a club! Needless to say, everyone had a blast. One of the things that made us like them even more was when we went to see them for our final run through. We saw them setting up for a DJ camp workshop that they facilitate for young aspiring DJs and they told us that all of their profits go back into youth programs that promote the arts. This resonated with us deeply because we are both dancers and love seeing artists give back to the community. These guys are such good people, and their love for their craft is truly inspirational. Long review but these guys are worth it.  There are three things people talk about in regards to a wedding. The venue. The food. And the entertainment.  The DJ makes or breaks the party, so If you want to check entertainment off of your list, I wholeheartedly recommend you to hire Elon Events! They came highly recommended by our florist. She said these guys are "young" but not to underestimate them.  I am so glad I took her advice! I got the privilege to work with Matt, Josh, and Dante.  Matt handled all of the logistics and details and Coordinated our meetings (I met with them twice before hiring them.) SUPER easy to communicate with Matt. I got very quick responses to all of my questions! He went out of his way to make sure I got everything I wanted for the wedding! Josh was our DJ. The "Asian Justin Bieber" one of our guests called him. He absolutely killed it. No request was too much. He didn't bat an eye when we changed entrance songs at the last minute.  For our reception, I gave Josh a very long list of songs that we liked, even some EDM, and he was able to work magic! We got to hear alot of our favorites, and he even mixed in some of his personal wedding favorites! And the best part, he was actually DJ'ING! No awkward pauses between songs. I had my wedding this past Saturday and was very anxious about how the feel and vibe would be. To throw a great wedding, you need a good emcee and music. In the end, it was a great success. All my guests kept raving on and on about how great the music was (I asked them to keep it old school). They told me the music flowed very well and the emcee was very entertaining. I initially met with Matt Pham to initiate our contract. He was very professional and thorough about the service they provide. He kept in contact and responded to the million of questions I had. :) A month before the wedding, I met with the DJ, Josh and emcee, Michelle. Up until then, I had the worst anxiety ever...I just wanted all my guests to have fun. After meeting with all three of them, I felt confident that they would help throw a great party. Josh really knew what he was doing and Michelle does too. She can translate in English and Vietnamese as well as sing in both languages. Worked with Matt, Evan, and DJ Kenjamin...outcome good wedding and that's all that matters. DJ kenjamin made sure the music was not too loud so people can talk to each other. Made it subtle and simple. Also, some people were worried sitting next to the speaker would make them go deaf. He just made sure everyone was happy. If it was me, I would have blasted it. Force people to listen to my music. It would make everyone feel awkward especially the old ladies. Evan just does his thing, made sure I didn't make a rated R wedding in front of kids. Had the pleasure to work with Matt, Mike, and Dante for our DJ/MC and sound services for our wedding. Overall communication was very good. We were able to communicate by e-mail, texting, and video chat with prompt responses. We did our DJ/MC prep about 2 weeks prior to our wedding day. One possible suggestion would be to send an email about 1 month before to introduce and also to start brainstorming songs/ideas. They were very organized and had a template to work with. Mike was an awesome DJ and was reliable in obtaining our requested songs. We opted to have DJs choice of music and our guests really enjoyed the music. Our MC was Dante and he also did an excellent job with his commanding, confident voice. He really got our crowd/guests excited about our wedding. We used Elon Events/Inviscus for our recent wedding on 3/31/18. We actually knew Matt from college but he still went out of his way to make sure our needs were met. He followed up multiple times the months before to check in on us and helped us think of things we needed for our overall wedding planning. Both our DJ (Josh) and MC (Dante) were also great leading up to the wedding by setting up video meetings (we didn't live in the area) to discuss our wedding style and music choices. Throughout the process, Elon was responsive and professional. They've been working all sorts of events so they know what 'll work and what will not. I had Inviscus perform at two school events (a holiday party and a formal) which included dancing and they were a huge hit. I had to plan a spring formal for the UCLA dental school. On average, past events have about 150 student and guests in attendance. Previous year's events were fun but there was room for improvement. For example, the entertainment before was a student who DJed as a hobbie. I wanted to make this year's the best it could be, which is why I hired Elon. I had booked them 4 months earlier for a school-wide Christmas party and was happy with their work. As before, DJ Josh Smiles did a great job with the music. There was a perfect range of old school 90s songs (ex. OG Britney Spears) and current top 40 hits. He kept the energy up throughout the night, people were singing and constantly running to the dance floor. What was different for the spring formal, was I had Elon also decorate the venue for me. The theme was "Hollywood, Red Carpet." To say the least, Matt and Khoi went above and beyond my expectations. They fully draped the room in black curtains, printed an 8x8' back drop with our organization's logo, and made customized 4' wooden letters that spelled out Holleywood. These components, coupled with a full lighting set up, left my guests speechless. Needless to say, I got countless compliments about the overall event. People could not stop gushing about the music and decorations. Matt, Khoi, and Josh are so easy to work with. They were patient and understanding when it came to negotiating what equipment and decorations were appropriate for the event. We booked Elon Events for lighting and DJ services for our wedding, and we are so happy with this decision! These guys definitely know what they are doing. My husband and I did not give them much direction with the lighting - we basically told them we wanted a neutral palette, and they kept it very clean and classy for the big day. Our venue looked so amazing in person and in pictures, and we owe a great deal of that to the gorgeous lighting. It really gave it that extra something. We had Kenjamin as our DJ for the evening, and he did a fantastic job. I'm pretty picky about music selection, so I gave him a specific list of songs to play at certain times, and he definitely stuck to it. For the rest of the night, he created a playlist based on my special requests list, and it was awesome! He did a really great job playing for the different age groups at the wedding. When we planned our wedding, we wanted to have someone who can entertained both young crowds and older/more traditional crowds. David DJ from Inviscus and Michelle helped us entertaining our guests for our wedding on 2/6/16. Michelle was amazing!!! She spoke both English and Vietnamese beautifully. She kept all our guests engaged and entertained with games. In addition, Michelle has a beautiful voice. She sang two beautiful songs one in English and one in Vietnamese. David and Michelle worked very well together to entertained our guests. David also helped us with setting up the sound system for our ceremony. All of our songs were perfect and started at the right time. David also helped us pick out our songs when we got stuck. David was great!!!
