My lashes always look so full and beautiful and custom to my Asian eye shape and preference. They are soft and feel natural and last much longer through other places. I can shower, get facials, swim in pools and beaches with them lasting through easily up to 3-4 weeks. I get fills every 2-3 weeks just to keep them full all months long. She is also great about taking care of my natural lashes so between fills or wanting new full sets I have plenty of healthy lashes to renew! She moved out to Southwest Bakersfield into her own studio at Sola Salon Studios. It's a cute location with other private studios and so you have privacy and are able to fully relax as Chelsea makes you beautiful without interruption or rush. I went in for a wax and immediately noticed she was doing a very quick and sloppy job. She didn't ask me to pull my eye lid down and kept applying very hot wax to my eye area. She did pulled the wax very roughly and to top that off she grabbed a cotton pad and started aggressively whipping my brows. I thought maybe it would just be irradiated for a little bit and then be okay and payed even though I wasn't very content with the job. This is how it ended up looking a few hours later and the second picture is from just right now. It hurt so bad . I went back in today to get a refund and they tried sitting me down to apply aloe Vera which I had already done and I denied the service since I didn't want them touching my eyebrows again. Then the lady that did them ran her fingers through the scab very aggressively and I did let her know it was hurting. I'm not sure why she thought it was okay to touch me without my consent anyway. They did let me know that it would go away after 3-5 days and I did let them know that this shouldn't have happened in the first place. I am very irritated since I did have an event tomorrow and they just kept telling me to apply oils and try to cover it with makeup and it would eventually go away and I just had to keep reminding them how this shouldn't have happen to beginning with and if they can't do waxing that they shouldn't offer the service. I did get my refund I am very irritated with this place and their nasty service. Please don't come here just save yourself the trouble and go else where with better care and service.

I went into Elsa's on New Years Eve thought I would try it out after a horrible nail visit to another salon near by. It took the poor girl (I think her name was Sim) almost a full 45 minutes and soaking and grinding to remove the set I had on. She was so patient and the end results were amazing. I love my new look called Gel X. This is very close to my house and very convenient for me. I no longer will be making a 20 drive to the salon I had went to for months. Not the ones with the nightmare set. I have received several compliments Im really hard on my nails so I do go every 2 weeks. Today we get a pedicure. Price is right and the staff is AMAZING. Ive been going to Elsa's for a couple months and I have loved every design and set. I started with gel x manicures to help grow my natural nails. The pictures are my natural nail, with a gel manicure and airbrush design. To add airbrush it's $10 and I will definitely go back to get more designs like this. I would say it's definitely worth it to make an appointment first and let them know the design first. They can get really busy on the weekends but work quick to help everyone. 4/13/23 update Elsa's killing it again! My family and I are from Tennessee and are visiting Bakersfield CA for about a month, we went to Elsa's nails a few days ago. We were open minded because we had no clue if the salons here were anything like back home, but luckily it was a very welcoming environment & the nail technicians were very kind & accommodating, the prices were so much better than I had imagined. I paid $60 with tip, something like this would cost close to $90-$100 at home, with only half of the satisfaction. My artist was Lisa, she gave me exactly what I wanted & more! I came to this establishment last week to get a set of nails. I was greeted and everyone was very friendly. I thought I try something new ( Gel X) since I hadn't had my nails done in forever. The process was very fast and I was happy. Fast forward to this week, one of my nails broke while wiping down my cabinet. I called the nail salon they asked me to come in. I was surprised when they told me they were going to give me a new set because they were lifting. I appreciate the fact that they were honest with me and wanted to make sure I was satisfied. Tina did my nails and they came out great -- I asked for chrome and she got the look just right. Super clean work and exactly the shape I wanted. V did my pedicure and was really gentle and thorough.
