When it arrived the ceramic top was damaged so I was told to not accept it and Ken located another one with the right combination of top and legs. When that arrived, it also had been damaged in shipping and Ken said to reject it and he found another one- same problem. I guess the porcelain tops are very fragile and require more delicate handling. Ken never gave up in the quest to deliver the perfect table I had ordered and was communicative and proactive throughout the ongoing issues never complaining once. They just delivered the 4th table which arrived in perfect condition and I couldn't be happier. I've never had such a positive experience from what was ostensibly a terrible one. Calligaris had discontined the combination I originally ordered in the meantime, but Ken persisted in getting that original combination shipped from Italy. Ken, thanks for your persistence, patience and follow-through. I can not recommend you and your store more highly!!

We had ordered a couch from Vallejo Furniture originally which came in damaged. After a lot of deeply unpleasant run-around with them, we eventually sought a refund, and went searching for other local stores who could get us the same couch we had gotten from Vallejo Furniture. Oscar was incredibly friendly and helpful from the first call: he found our couch and confirmed that while they didn't stock it, he could certainly order us one. He took the time to email me a picture so that I could confirm it was the right match. He gave me a price that was significantly lower than what we had paid previously, delivered it for only $80, and even offered us the option to take payments in increments. He set a realistic expectation of time frame for delivery that ended up being exactly accurate. He explained the process and executed exactly as promised- he called when he had confirmation the couch had shipped to him, and he called with confirmation of its arrival and scheduled delivery day. When I called to clarify something the day before delivery and he was out, the other woman who answered who I had never spoken to recognized my name and was quick to help me in his absence rather than pushing off the task until his return. AND THEN HE CAME PERSONALLY AND DELIVERED IT. I am extremely type A and I work in customer service myself. I'm not necessarily hard to please, but I'm definitely hard to impress, and Oscar wowed me. The biggest problem I had was delivery. Unless the item is over 6k, it's 450.00 in delivery. Between the sectional, warranty, and tax I was over 6k and that didn't apply, which I was not happy with but had no other option.
