26 Dec 2025 2.5 Stars We tried to "donate" this solid wood table. It was supposed to cost us $100 to have it picked up and "donate" it. One chair has an arm that needs to be reattached with a screw and wood glue and the tabletop shows 35 years of use. It is a nice piece or furniture. By the way, a week ago I turned down a $200 purchase offer for the table because I don't like being low-balled. Its a nice solid table needing some love. The Habitat truck shows up and the driver tells me it will now cost us $217 to donate it because bla bla bla I didn't understand the reasoning. I'm just trying to do a solid to the Jimmy Carter gig. I said "Never mind we will keep the table." This because I don't like being bait and switched. The furniture pick up fellows seemed not to mind not carrying the table and chairs to the truck. I was a truck driver and physical labor guy for decades. Workers not caring for the greater good? I get it though I was not that. What a waste of Habitat donated time, money and energy. We are out a $10 furniture pick up scheduling fee. Update: We got a message that we would get the $10 scheduling fee. I don't really care about that rinky dink fee. We were just trying to do Jimmy Carter and his beloved organization a solid. read more

The prices here are unexpectedly high for a store selling donated, used items. On 1/22/2026, I stopped in and saw a heavily used electric kettle priced at $30 (see attached photo). At that price, you could easily buy a brand-new one elsewhere. Given that these items are donated and clearly pre-owned, the pricing doesn't seem to reflect their actual condition or value. Either prices have always been this high here, or shoppers simply don't know better. I'd rather make the drive to the Vacaville location, where there are actual deals. read more

We wanted to donate an expensive solid wood Ethan Allen piece of furniture in excellent condition to the store for resale, and were told it would be $225 for the pickup fee. Our aim was to help a charity and keep this out of the landfill. On arrival the driver told us it would be an extra $100 recycling fee if it wasn't accepted at the other end. So our bill ended up at $325 for this company to basically trash our furniture. I am extremely disappointed and angry that we were not informed that this could happen. We would have kept the furniture had we known. I would not recommend this company nor ever use it again. Beware. read more

We went on Black Friday weekend and it was 40% off unless it had a special 50% off sticker. The furniture is donated so don't expect new looking pieces in pristine condition however you can get some really lovely used all wood furniture. The stuff you get at stores nowadays is all fake wood and veneers, so it's so nice places like this carry wooden furniture items. Without the 40% off it can feel expensive but with the discount I decided to get some art and furniture for our first bedroom. They had a ton of mirrors and art and large pieces. Glad I stumbled on this place for home furnishings! read more

Two stars only because one volunteer was actually helpful. The employees, however, were completely unhelpful. No acknowledgment, no thank you, no basic customer interaction. They act like they don't even care that you're there. I bought a toilet here and after it was installed we discovered it leaks. By that point we had already paid to have it installed in our house. For $80, I ended up with a defective toilet and an installation bill on top of it. Honestly, I should have just gone to Home Depot and bought a brand new toilet for around $100 instead. Would have saved time, money, and frustration. read more

This store has been consistent when it comes to great customer service. My experience here is always pleasant. First time I visited this store, I was looking for something very specific. Although I didn't find it, the staff were friendly, polite and helpful. I was especially impressed with Kailyn who took my info to contact me once what I was looking for become available. Let me tell you, this young lady went over and above to ask questions and get to know more about what I was looking for and why. I went there with my son because he needed a couch for his new apartment. Before we went to this store, we went to stores that had brand new furniture, but it was really high priced and he didn't want to spend that much money. When we went to Habitat for Humanity restore, we found a beautiful golden brown sectional couch for only $293! We were so happy with it. It's so comfy! There were so many beautiful things there mirrors, dressers, everything, and all at very reasonable prices! If I ever need anything for the house, this is definitely where I'm going! read more

New location is very nice. Walking through it feels more like a retail furniture store. Rooms set up as they would be in a home. Most of the staging pieces ( throw pillows and knickknacks not for sale). They still have construction materials and tools. The thing is, the prices no longer resemble a thrift store pricing. At least not like the old location. Today I saw a couple of chairs I liked. They were 100$ each. The same sort of chair at the old location ran me 40$. So, I will still visit but I won't be expecting to find an amazing deal. read more

The worst experience yesterday. It seems some people are allowed to stroll through the store and select a handful of items, apparently ones that have not even been priced yet and put them on hold and leave the shop. They are told to be back by a certain time but management will just give them more time to show up and buy what they want. I found a cool mirror on a cart with several items. I asked the worker if all the items were on hold and she said no. I took the mirror to purchase it and a manager came and took it saying it with the rest of the cart full of items, some with no price on them, were on hold for Rebecca and she had until 4pm to return and buy the items. It was 3:35pm, so I waited at the checkout desk to buy it at 4pm in case Rebecca didn't return by 4pm. The manager knew I was waiting to see if Rebecca arrived in time to buy it. At 4:01pm I went to the manager to tell her I wanted to buy the mirror and she said "no I'll extend the time since she hasn't arrived yet." It's obvious Rebecca must be friend of hers or giving her a little cash to hold choice items to buy later.. how can someone put an item on hold when it hasn't even been priced?!. I was told I could buy the item at 4pm if she didn't come - just lies. I go to all three of their stores, most are great, this one is corrupt. read more

Great store! It is super organized and clean, and feels like you're shopping in any other furniture store! You would probably not be able to tell items are donated or used. The products are all in very good condition and it's clear Habitat for Humanity takes pride in its mission. There's a variety of items- appliances, bathroom fixtures, lots of paint, lighting, art, and various furniture pieces. The only reason for 4 stars is because while there is a huge variety of products, there isn't much of a selection of each. This store is also a little more tailored to homeowners rather than renters considering the amount of paints, appliances, tiles, and lighting and plumbing fixtures versus furniture. Overall if you're looking for furniture, fixtures or finishes, it's worth stopping by this location! read more

Wow, hands down this is the best Restore we've ever been to! When we walked in, our first reaction was like wait is this a Restore!? I loved the showroom style of the future because it allowed you to visualize all the furniture. I wished I had gone to this Restore sooner when we were buying furniture previously. We were really impressed with the diverse items and there was a wide variety of items to furnish your whole house. We loved one of the paintings we found, it was a beautiful and an artist display of gold and color. The frame was so large in size and of great quality, we were shocked at the affordable price for the item. We are so happy with our purchase and it hangs proudly in our home now. The staff was really friendly and helpful in getting our item into the car. We'll definitely be back in the future! read more

I used to love this place in the old location. Was it pretty? No. Was it a treasure hunt? Yes. Also easier to shop imo. You could find all kinds of great random items for home projects, furniture, tools, paint, tiles, etc. including older or used items at a good price. This new place they set up like ikea with many small rooms showcasing items like in a house, but tbh it just feels like a big maze and doesn't make me want to buy anything at all. It's much easier to have products grouped together to shop/measure/compare next to each other vs. the room set up. I think in theory it's more organized, but it feels off. I wish they left it open as one big room or only a few breakout rooms if they really couldn't let that idea go (ie one for dressers, one for couches and seating, bathroom vanities/sinks, etc). I think the merchandising actually makes it less shop-able and enticing. Merchandising isn't necessarily all about being attractive, it's about making it easy to navigate, easy to shop, and accessible for everyone. The prices are also insane now. $700 for a bathroom vanity, $145 for a small/medium mirror that is very basic, etc. The whole vibe and price point of this place has changed, and not for the better imo. I hope they will re-think the layout. The staff is great though, no stars off for them. read more
