Nice greeting
Deborah M.

Booked one night for a place to stay as we laid a family member to rest. It was important to have convenient amenities to make this as easy as we could on ourselves. Arrived around 2:30p and the room was not only ready but the digital key had already been delivered. Easy parking in shared lot. We had no issue finding a close spot. Hotel is beautiful upon entry. Picked up extra key, got a goodie bag, and headed up to the room. Everything was so new looking and clean. The room was perfect. The bed was comfortable. Everything was very clean. Two TVs in the two room suite. Microwave and fridge. Nice big closet with safe, iron, and board. Lots of storage. Managers reception was decent. 2 drinks per guest. Finger foods like cheese cubes, fruit, bread, nachos, snack mix/pretzels. Nothing hot, but it was clean and well managed. Breakfast was in a lovely area. Eggs and omelets to order were available. Coffee, juice, cereals and breads along with biscuits, gravy, pancakes, eggs, potatoes, bacon and sausage, oatmeal, fruits and etc. Nice selection. Flavor was a bit bland but again, well managed, and they were keeping tables spotless. Unfortunately we didn't have time to enjoy the indoor pool nor the Bar Louie's that was attached. Room service from Bar Louie's was available if desired. The location was also very convenient with plenty of shopping and other restaurants nearby. Overall, this was a good stay during a trying time. Was able to get a late checkout despite them being fully booked, which was greatly appreciated. Would definitely recommend.

Bedbug !

DO NOT STAY HERE THERES BEDBUGS !!! we showed the front desk pictures but they didn't do anything about it, they didn't care also got in contact with the "desk manager" through email & she stopped replying. Worst hotel ever.

Surprised by Grandeur A one night stay was needed for my wife and I in the Round Rock area and booked a night here. When we arrive wiggling around the Round Rock Premium Outlets where this hotel is located next to the Bass Pro Shops. I was expecting a mid range hotel but from the outside looked a bit luxurious with nice curb appeal, and bronze statues of horses all over in front and back. The parking is free and the lobby impressive for such a small hotel. It was large with plenty of seating with on-site restaurant called Bar Louie, along with a lobby bar, and what looks like future setup for another restaurant. We were professionally greeted and checked in. Our room was a mini suite which was very impressive. The whole place looked new and fresh. Like having a separate bedroom from the living space with two separate large TVs. The only issue I experienced was the batteries were missing from the remote control, but went downstairs and was provided with some. As for downstairs we hit it just in time where at 5:00 PM the lobby bar has happy hour with a complementary drink and appetizer which was chips and assortment of dips. We did also have a nice snack at Bar Louie before heading back to the room and noticed an indoor pool. The next day we checkout super early and for our brief stay we had a nice experience, and later recommend it to another person looking for a place to stay in that area.

7 toddlers from our adjacent room ran screaming on those couches during breakfast.

Stay away if at all possible. Very noisy rooms. On Sunday, Aug.18, 2024, after a long drive we stopped at the Embassy Suites in Round Rock for a rest, we are both over 70. 1- the 2 EV chargers in the back asked for "credentials". After trying both, I went back to the Front Desk for help to obtain "credentials". Three employees there had no clue. They asked me to go back out and check again. No luck. I was sent back in 108º heat to wait, and they will send a tech. The tech finally came out but couldn't help so he called in and handed me his phone. The Front Desk manager Stephanie asked me to scan my credit card for some mystery charges. I went back in and asked her why their website did not mention any charges. She assured me that it did. I have used free chargers at other Embassy Suites so I was surprised this one charges. As I already knew, their website does not mention any fees for EV charging. 2- Next, drenched in sweat, we decided to go get our rest. It turns out both the adjacent, connecting room and the one directly above us had loud families with unruly children and hapless parents who screamed randomly at the kids. After 2 hours with no rest, we asked for another room. The attendant somehow knew about both noisy rooms and switched us to a room next to a utility room and across the elevators. Really? 3- Then the new room key didn't work. We went back down to find out that the electronic key system had frozen and that the night shift employee may know how to troubleshoot it. In the meantime, to go in we have to ask the attendant, when not busy, to come up and let us in. We gave up on the shopping trip and just stayed in the room. 4- When we finally wanted to turn in for the night, we found out that the electric outlets on each side of the bed did not work. Behind the nightstands the whole electric/phone panel had been pulled out and left with electric cables hanging out. The only phone in the room was dead. So we could not connect our medical devices for the night and had to sleep without them. We asked to speak to the GM but the Front Desk manager assured us that nothing could be done and that the GM would reach out to us soon. It is now Sept. 7, and after numerous messages and phone calls to the hotel, the GM, Ms. Karina Diaz has not called or made any contact with us as promised. Ravi at Hilton Corp. Customer Service emailed to say we will be contacted within 3 days. After a week, and another message telling him there was no contact from the hotel. He wanted me to contact them directly. Ha! The staff from the GM on down do not understand the word hospitality means. Service is the reason you are there. If you provide us with poor service and fail at your primary function to provide us with a room to rest, at least have the decency to hear us out. Serious training for the whole staff is badly needed. Please someone help them.

On our family road trip vacation we stopped here to rest. The rooms are clean. We enjoyed the pool, the happy hours- complimentary two adults drinks (for each adult) and snacks, and the complimentary breakfast. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

ABSOLUTELY LOVED their continental breakfast! You will be missing out on a great hotel if you didn't stay here. The rooms were spacious, great customer service, have a ton of deals- great breakfast, Starbucks coffee inside and great Happy Hour deals! Also, the restaurant, Bar Louie is open until midnight so a good spot for a night cap.

This was waiting for us in our room to celebrate our 16 years together

Where do I start!? Location is perfect, right next to the outlets, H‑E‑B, bass pro, and easy entry to the highway. Now our stay was beyond what I expected. We were celebrating our anniversary and everything was beautiful and romantic. We stayed in a king suite and it was spacious and clean. The bed was super comfortable and plenty of pillows. It never got to cold or to hot in the room. We enjoyed a live band at Bar Louie and a giant booth all to ourselves under an awesome Nolan Ryan mural. The food was good and the drinks were very tasty. We ran into friends at the bar and they stated this was already their Friday spot for happy hour. Breakfast was awesome! We had plenty of selection and everything was very fresh. They also have a full menu Starbucks next to the front desk if you need something on the go. We absolutely would stay again. Walked through the event hall as well and wow! It's beautiful and classy. Perfect for a wedding or celebration.

The food was genuinely excellent, and the service was warm and attentive throughout. The bed was also a standout -- more comfortable than what I've experienced at most four-star hotels. I also loved the in-room Nespresso machine, which was a great touch. The only drawbacks are the location and setting. It's not ideal if you want to be close to a more metropolitan, walkable area, and being right on the creek means there can be quite a few bugs, especially in the evening. The bed was slightly uncomfortable because I could feel the springs but I was still able to sleep fine. We used the pool twice and it wasn't crowded at all. It had a few lounge chairs and several regular chairs. The staff made sure to keep the towels stocked when they knew we were headed to the pool. There was also a gym but we didn't check it out. The complimentary breakfast had a good variety including a fountain drink machine. I liked making the Texas shaped waffles. My only rec would be more fruit options. Check out was simple by putting the key card at the front desk. I would definitely consider coming back for another stay.

First day had uncooked oatmeal, some scrambled egg and some hashbrowns mixed w sausage pieces and veg. A little cut fruit, and no whole fruit. Only good was the coffee. I guess she tagged me to be a "difficult customer" even when I didn't make a big deal and admitted I was at fault ... however, when I got in the room, the room was filthy. When I called her, she was not apologetic, was condescending, and not helpful at all. She quickly said she can offer a refund or we stay in the room. She could care less about the inconvenience... she didn't bother to offer to perhaps send housekeeping to maybe clean the room again since they can't offer a clean room for us... I had to call corporate who was much helpful, but in the end, we decided to book with Hyatt - and they were actually cheaper. Then, when I went downstairs to tell them we'll take the refund, I told her (and maybe the manager that was standing next to her) that I left the dog hairs I found on the night stand and that the chair they have was sticky and filthy. They just looked at me and was like "OK". Oh wow - my husband and I were laughing as we drove off... what a joke. We feel bad for the owner of this hotel. A simple sign for the night of check in considering we were taking up 4/5 of their hotel for the entire weekend! Give me a break, right? How the conversation should have went: Brent, we've been waiting for you and are excited for the big weekend. Thanks so much for bringing your large group to our hotel. Here's my cell phone. Don't hesitate to call or email me if you run into any issues. We appreciate your business. Instead, this absolutely ridiculous woman named Holly proceeded to CALL THE POLICE and file a no trespassing order since I persisted to try to convince her to allow the sign. She basically kicked me out of the hotel for simply trying to reason. But I learned she is not logical and has no common sense so it was a dead end. Absolutely ridiculous and disappointing! I'm not a fan of cancel culture and going after people's jobs but if anyone deserves to be fired, this insane lady Holly needs to be axed IMMEDIATELY. When Monday hits I'm working up the corporate ladder to make sure Marriott makes it up to me and that this obnoxious obnoxious, power tripping woman doesn't play this game with someone else ever again. Absolute nightmare and added stress I didn't need while trying to focus on bringing hospitality to our large event and its participants that chose to join us. Total slap in the face. The hotel only cleans every other day to cut costs, so you must request a cleaning if you want more often than that. That is exactly what we did. Unfortunately, this is what we saw when we got back to the hotel, see pic below, when we requested a cleaning. The excuse from the receptionist was the hotel was full so they did not have enough housekeepers to clean our room. Then the manager called the next day after we had to send two texts about what happened. He said it happened because the housekeeper saw a do not disturb sign on the door. Either way it is unacceptable, and the fact that they have conflicting stories about the incident is not good. Certainly, if the housekeeper should have come back to clean the room, knowing we specifically requested a cleaning. Other than that the breakfast was lousy--even by complimentary breakfast standards. The omelette tasted rubbery, the oatmeal was soggy and there were very few selctions. It was so bad that very few people were seen at breakfast the whole stay. Finally, the pool was unusable the whole time we were there. Apparently the pool heater broke which would have cost $5000 to fix, so despite the weather being nice, the pool was closed because a multimillion dollar company did not want to spend five thousand to fix a heater and settle the cost with the warranty company later. Despite the problems we had, the manager who checked us out, did not offer us a penny off the bill, very poor service and we would not recommend anyone to stay here.
