Avoid if you want to SLEEP! When booking a hotel, especially an embassy suite, I do not check to see if they have a nightclub under my room. I do not think that is something as a traveler looking for quiet and rest from traveling I should have to look out for. This place played incredibly loud music that shook the entire 2nd floor of the building for hours. At one point, it seemed that every person on the 2nd floor was out of their room trying to figure out what to do because management was ZERO help. The attitude was like, " YOU, the guest, can pretty much just leave..... at 11 p.m. at night." This shack is unbelievable and doesn't deserve to be called a hotel. My family will never stay here again. read more

Great location! Across the street from the Round Rock outlets, Embassy had abundant parking and partially shared its parking with the restaurant nearby. It is a gorgeous hotel with a beautiful spacious lobby, reception area for happy hour, and the rooms appeared newly renovated. Loved the layout of our room, it was very comfortable and having a mini fridge is always a plus. However, after a long day out, coming back to our hotel room for rest for peace and relaxation did not happen. Although our room was 4 floors up, it was located above the hotel bar/ restaurant. We could hear the music for hours! In addition, the walls were paper thin, our neighbors and their dog were loud- we could hear conversations, footsteps, etc. Definitely not a peaceful hotel! Embassy is known for their happy hour and made to order breakfasts. We received two complimentary drink tickets per person. Drinks were strong, and the snacks consisted of goldfish, pretzels, carrot sticks with ranch, chips, and fresh popped popcorn. While I was sipping on my drink, I observed a gloved female employee, in charge of popcorn, use those same gloved hands and eat the popcorn!!! After placing a couple of bagged popcorn on the counter for guests, she walked around eating it on the job with those same gloves and proceeded to head to the snack area and do the same! Unprofessional and disgusting. Made to order breakfast was ok. I did appreciate the omelette station. Checkout was easy. Not sure I would stay here again, but I did like how close proximity it was to the outlets. read more

At a holiday party.... Food was good...hot wings, croissant sandwiches, beef kabobs, motzerella kabobs, vegetables, deviled eggs and fruit. Of note, the hot wings were slightly crispy on the outside and oh so super moist inside...yummy to my tummy. Also the shaved cucumbers were crunchy and flavorful. It's rather unusual to see cucumbers in this date. I had not been to this hotel but was pleasantly surprised. The room was spacious with ample seating. The servers were like ninjas with picking up used plates and utensils. I will definitely come back. Bar Louie is next door and another possible dining opportunity. read more

The most humiliating and horrible experience I have ever had at any hotel, especially at a Hilton. I requested a manager during check in but was told she was not answering her phone. The General Manager's name is Karina Diaz. In my opinion she is a disgrace to the brand. the yelp reviews are so low on this property. my mistake for not reading them prior to making a reservation.She also has refused to give me the name of her supervisor. Booked one night for a place to stay as we laid a family member to rest. It was important to have convenient amenities to make this as easy as we could on ourselves. Arrived around 2:30p and the room was not only ready but the digital key had already been delivered. Easy parking in shared lot. We had no issue finding a close spot. Hotel is beautiful upon entry. Picked up extra key, got a goodie bag, and headed up to the room. Everything was so new looking and clean. The room was perfect. The bed was comfortable. Everything was very clean. Two TVs in the two room suite. Microwave and fridge. Nice big closet with safe, iron, and board. Lots of storage. Managers reception was decent. 2 drinks per guest. Finger foods like cheese cubes, fruit, bread, nachos, snack mix/pretzels. Nothing hot, but it was clean and well managed. Breakfast was in a lovely area. Eggs and omelets to order were available. Coffee, juice, cereals and breads along with biscuits, gravy, pancakes, eggs, potatoes, bacon and sausage, oatmeal, fruits and etc. Nice selection. Flavor was a bit bland but again, well managed, and they were keeping tables spotless. Unfortunately we didn't have time to enjoy the indoor pool nor the Bar Louie's that was attached. Room service from Bar Louie's was available if desired. The location was also very convenient with plenty of shopping and other restaurants nearby. Overall, this was a good stay during a trying time. Was able to get a late checkout despite them being fully booked, which was greatly appreciated. Would definitely recommend. read more

Surprised by Grandeur A one night stay was needed for my wife and I in the Round Rock area and booked a night here. When we arrive wiggling around the Round Rock Premium Outlets where this hotel is located next to the Bass Pro Shops. I was expecting a mid range hotel but from the outside looked a bit luxurious with nice curb appeal, and bronze statues of horses all over in front and back. The parking is free and the lobby impressive for such a small hotel. It was large with plenty of seating with on-site restaurant called Bar Louie, along with a lobby bar, and what looks like future setup for another restaurant. We were professionally greeted and checked in. Our room was a mini suite which was very impressive. The whole place looked new and fresh. Like having a separate bedroom from the living space with two separate large TVs. The only issue I experienced was the batteries were missing from the remote control, but went downstairs and was provided with some. As for downstairs we hit it just in time where at 5:00 PM the lobby bar has happy hour with a complementary drink and appetizer which was chips and assortment of dips. We did also have a nice snack at Bar Louie before heading back to the room and noticed an indoor pool. The next day we checkout super early and for our brief stay we had a nice experience, and later recommend it to another person looking for a place to stay in that area. read more

The location is pretty accessible and walkable to store and dining options. It's pretty small with only 6 floors. I appreciated parking being free, unlike a lot of Embassy locations. There is a Bar Louie attached and they provide room service which I thought was a cool feature. The room was big and comfortable. The breakfast and happy hour were a bit disappointing. The happy hour only includes 2 beverages per person (although our bartender was a bit liberal). I haven't experienced a beverage max at other Embassy locations. The breakfast quality was not that great - the meat was hard and the pancakes tasted like air. Fitness center and pool were nice; although you can expect a bunch of children. There is no hot tub and the pool is fairly small. The fitness center has a peloton bike with straps so accessible wearing regular sneakers. The hotel is well decorated and furnished, but the common areas could use a bit more glitz. The staff were friendly and assisted when needed. read more

On Sunday, Aug.18, 2024, after a long drive we stopped at the Embassy Suites in Round Rock for a rest, we are both over 70. 1- the 2 EV chargers in the back asked for "credentials". After trying both, I went back to the Front Desk for help to obtain "credentials". Three employees there had no clue. They asked me to go back out and check again. No luck. I was sent back in 108º heat to wait, and they will send a tech. The tech finally came out but couldn't help so he called in and handed me his phone. The Front Desk manager Stephanie asked me to scan my credit card for some mystery charges. I went back in and asked her why their website did not mention any charges. She assured me that it did. I have used free chargers at other Embassy Suites so I was surprised this one charges. As I already knew, their website does not mention any fees for EV charging. 2- Next, drenched in sweat, we decided to go get our rest. It turns out both the adjacent, connecting room and the one directly above us had loud families with unruly children and hapless parents who screamed randomly at the kids. After 2 hours with no rest, we asked for another room. The attendant somehow knew about both noisy rooms and switched us to a room next to a utility room and across the elevators. Really? 3- Then the new room key didn't work. We went back down to find out that the electronic key system had frozen and that the night shift employee may know how to troubleshoot it. In the meantime, to go in we have to ask the attendant, when not busy, to come up and let us in. We gave up on the shopping trip and just stayed in the room. 4- When we finally wanted to turn in for the night, we found out that the electric outlets on each side of the bed did not work. Behind the nightstands the whole electric/phone panel had been pulled out and left with electric cables hanging out. The only phone in the room was dead. So we could not connect our medical devices for the night and had to sleep without them. We asked to speak to the GM but the Front Desk manager assured us that nothing could be done and that the GM would reach out to us soon. It is now Sept. 7, and after numerous messages and phone calls to the hotel, the GM, Ms. Karina Diaz has not called or made any contact with us as promised. Ravi at Hilton Corp. Customer Service emailed to say we will be contacted within 3 days. After a week, and another message telling him there was no contact from the hotel. He wanted me to contact them directly. Ha! The staff from the GM on down do not understand the word hospitality means. Service is the reason you are there. If you provide us with poor service and fail at your primary function to provide us with a room to rest, at least have the decency to hear us out. Serious training for the whole staff is badly needed. Please someone help them. read more

Relatively new hotel with friendly front desk staff. Property looks well kept. On site restaurants delivered food which was tasty. Nearby restaurants were good too in the outlet mall. Tv was large and could control through the Hilton app. Bathroom was separated into 2 rooms. One side had a sink with overhead lights that went off randomly. The other room was a walk in shower and toilet with no lighting at all. Closing the shower curtain was like being in a closet. Nighttime bathroom trips in total darkness. Mattress was pathetic. Super thin and uncomfortable. Surprised that a mid scale hotel that as new would have such crummy mattresses. Can't recommend this to friends unfortunately. Amenities were good but bed and bath weren't. read more

I had a pretty pleasant stay here. It's a newer embassy suites and it shows, although it's rather small (in total building size, not rooms) compared to others I've been to (6 floors). The rooms are very nice, modern, and well taken care of. Very spacious suites as well. My one complaint is the breakfast was subpar as far as embassy suites go. It is obviously still a step above other hotels, but not quite up to the embassy suites standards we are used to. The omelettes are always made somewhat carelessly and overcooked. The eggs are rubbery. The juice machine never works properly, every single juice in it comes out very watery. Coffee machines run out and are not refilled even on the slowest days. Hot buffet items are overcooked, either mushy or hard. No in between. read more

This hotel has a great location next to the Round Rock Outlets it's literally across the street. A bunch of restaurants in the area walking distance. Not to mention this hotel has its own bar and restaurant which the food is amazing and you can order room service. The hotel staff is fabulous they go above and beyond to help you with any of your needs. I have to mention Jeremy the general manager he's a Rockstar and a life saver!!. I was having issues with my debit card instead of throwing me out he worked with me allowed me to pay in cash which this hotel doesn't allow at all. His compassion , customer service skills and his professionalism is top tier. We most definitely need more general managers like him!. I highly recommend this hotel rooms smells clean are big and up to date. read more

The staff are incredibly friendly, open and willing to make your stay enjoyable. Attention to detail in the colors and finishes is incredible. Where do I start!? Location is perfect, right next to the outlets, H‑E‑B, bass pro, and easy entry to the highway. Now our stay was beyond what I expected. We were celebrating our anniversary and everything was beautiful and romantic. We stayed in a king suite and it was spacious and clean. The bed was super comfortable and plenty of pillows. It never got to cold or to hot in the room. We enjoyed a live band at Bar Louie and a giant booth all to ourselves under an awesome Nolan Ryan mural. The food was good and the drinks were very tasty. We ran into friends at the bar and they stated this was already their Friday spot for happy hour. Breakfast was awesome! We had plenty of selection and everything was very fresh. They also have a full menu Starbucks next to the front desk if you need something on the go. We absolutely would stay again. Walked through the event hall as well and wow! It's beautiful and classy. I get it things happen but the woman at the front desk was rude. Then she said my reservation was cancelled. No friendly faces no kind words. This hotel was comfortable, nice, clean, and the staff was professional. However, I had a terrible experience with the in room moisturizer product Zero. The product claims to be all natural free of Sulfates, Parabens, and Phthalates. When I used the lotion, my face instantaneously broke out in a painful red rash that burned my skin. I usually don't use any complementary hotel products due to safety concerns but I forgot my face moisturizer and according to the bottle it didn't contain any irritants so I thought that I'd be ok. I'm not sure how the hotel ensures the quality and safety of the bottles contents. I believe if the maids do not empty these bottles after each stay anyone could have added anything to the bottle and no one would know otherwise. It's hard for me to believe a product that claims to be all natural could do this to me. I stayed at the hotel last night, used the product before checkout and it is now 7:00PM and my face is still burning. I couldn't even put on my make up properly because of this issue so please don't make the same mistake I did. Stayed here with our family and friends for the Formula 1 race. Location of the hotel made it easy to get onto the highway and travel back and forth to the race. The hotel itself is beautiful, with an amazing made to order breakfast , onsite restaurant and Starbucks. Staff throughout the hotel are welcoming. The room is nice with plenty of space and storage. --only complaints is my second floor room has a fantastic view of the first floors roof not worth removing a star to me. Thanks Hilton, for putting me in the room right above a charity gala for the round rock school district blasting music until 2am. I really appreciate being kept up all night, as a Hilton Diamond member it's really awesome. I love hearing the terrible choice in music the DJ is spinning from my queen size bed. The staff laughing at me asking when it's going to stop, really made my night. Really appreciate the stay, traveling to Austin every week for the last 6 months, I'd recommend staying at any other hotel than this one. Unless you have insomnia, this hotel is for you! read more

Went here for a much needed getaway. Checkin was easy and the young lady that took care of us was very nice and accommodating with our request for an upper floor room away from elevator and bar noise. The room was comfortable and when we requested extra cups for coffee they brought it right up along with a bucket for ice. Evening reception was nice and we enjoyed having area to sit, relax and play some cribbage!! Bed was comfortable and had a good nights sleep. First, this is a beautiful new hotel. The rooms are new and fresh and the staff is nice, just not very helpful or understanding. Just a couple of issues that I had during my 8-day stay: 1. On day three of my stay I asked the front desk to have someone bring fresh towels. After i asked the front desk person she repeated the room number to me but was wrong so I corrected her. She then repeated the correct room number to me but I didn't have much faith that housekeeping would get the message because the girl at the front desk seemed to be in deep conversation (texting I guess) with someone on her phone. When we didn't have the fresh towels that night that I had requested in the morning I called the front desk and housekeeping did bring them right up so that was appreciated. 2. At the beginning of our stay I was told that housekeeping would make up the room on day four. Although they did so, they didn't put clean sheets on the bed but just made up the bed with the old sheets. Although when I was told at the beginning of my stay that the room would be made up on day four, I guess I assumed they would put on new sheets, especially being a hotel of this caliber but I guess not. 3. I had reservations for 8 days. During my stay plans changed and I was hoping to checkout after 6 days but that wouldn't happen. I called the Hilton Reservation department who referred me to the Advanced Reservation Department who in turn told me that because I was already staying at the hotel I needed to talk with the manager. They said that the decision would be up to this person and it was up to their discretion. I then went to the front desk and asked for the manager. When the front desk manager came to talk with me he said that since this was an advance reservation and the room was already paid for there is nothing that he can do. You would think that after having reservations for 8 nights and staying for six they would be willing to work with me but that wasn't the case. Overall, a nice property because it is new but customer service and helpfulness is lacking. read more

We booked a 2 night stay to attend a Reunion. We visit the Austin area a couple of times a month. We have never stayed At Embassy Suites, Round Rock and we will never book again!! Service desk employees were very friendly and helpful upon arrival. It went down hill when we were in our room. Had to park in back parking lot due to the night club taking up front parking. Lighting out in the back, very dark. That night our air conditioner had major problems as well as our shower and refrigerator. We slept maybe a couple of hours due to the loud squealing from air conditioner and refrigerator. We couldn't take a shower, due to just dripping out. Don't understand why this wasn't reported by cleaning staff when they cleaned our room in the first place. Next morning that had a maintenance worker, who was great, repair everything in the room. We went out to eat and came back to refrigerator making even more loud screeching noises, Maintenance came again, 3x now, and told us it was repaired. Well, it was not. After we came back from reunion late that night, refrigerator sounded like it was moaning and screeching. As we trying to sleep, the iron board holder comes crashing down in closet scaring us half to death. So many problems in just 2 nights of stay. Lobby is beautiful and elegant looking. Staff is very friendly. Looks like they cheapen out in the rooms!!! Staff was aware of all problems. Looks are very deceiving this this hotel. Our biggest problem was the loud music from the bar. We were having a sisters' reunion planned weeks ahead. We were put in rooms directly over the bar which has LOUD live music every night we were there. We asked to change rooms but they said there were no other connecting rooms available. Even after the "live" music stopped, the loud music continued. When we called the front desk repeatedly after midnight no one ever answered. The "happy hour" is fine if you want canned Bud light or generic wine, but our cocktail was undrinkable. The hot breakfast is pretty nice with made to order omelets. As long as you can get up after a very late night waiting for noise to stop so you can sleep. read more

Little disappointed when we initially walked in to reserve a room but the front desk person (David) said that they were fully booked. He didn't even look in the system to see what was his availability but said "nothing available" right away we went on the website since he didn't even check the system and there were rooms available. We were able to book a room instantly. Management should definitely work on training their personnel to ensure they are giving accurate and updated information to their customers. read more

You know that calm sleepy feeling you get after driving all day, filling your belly & appeasing the kids in the pool.... Imagine it with a full BASE line in the background that they tell you won't end until at least 11 PM. We were able to change rooms, but it's ridiculous that they even fill the rooms above the bar on live band nights!! We were on the 4th floor & to the right of the elevators. AVOID this area at all costs!! (Specifically room 429) but any floors & rooms to each side of it as well. read more

Very, very RUDE front desk staff !!! I see reviews show a history of that. This is a newer hotel but the rooms are much smaller compared to most Embassy Suites. I would definitely NOT call these 'SUITES'. Hair was found in bed sheets, indicating they were never cleaned. Quiet room location was requested. Instead, they placed me right next to elevator and ice machine. Very noisy and had little sleep. I would not recommend this hotel. Much better hotel options are nearby. As a loyal Hilton Diamond member, this hotel fell well short of Hilton standards. read more

She answered my original email but after disagreeing with her about the small refund she was offering I have not heard from her. I am very dissatisfied at this type of customer service. We did NOT cancel our room, and we never received any notice. What a terrible place! I will make sure I warn everyone about this hotel. Luckily, the Marriott took us in. Traveling for work I stayed here last week and was really pleased by the cleanness of the hotel. Staff are very friendly. However staying here this week I keep hearing base and it is the freaking Bar Louie. Does not end until 11pm so I can't sleep. I just worked 13 hours and have to be up at 6am. I'm on the 6th floor and it sounds like it is in the room next to me. They can't move me also. Won't be ever staying here again! read more
