This Hyatt property is clean, friendly and tucked away. It conveniently shares a parking lot with a CVS store, should you need anything. The hotel staff is so friendly and personable. Everyone truly seems so happy to work here! The free, complimentary continental breakfast is a bonus. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The beds are comfortable. I do miss the days when hotels used thicker bed spreads for ultimate comfort, but this works. If I had to make one suggestion - if you're showering at night, make sure to dry the shower head before you sleep or else you'll be investigating all night trying to find out what the metal "ting" or "dropping" noise is.. read more

THE STAFF, LOCATION, FACILITIES, FOOD...all of it was perfect! We hosted a group of about 20 some people for a three day business gathering and could not have had a better time. Thank you to Property Manager Jean for making everything absolutely perfect. Such a warm and beautiful energy from all of the staff. That in itself made this the best decision we could've made. Jean, Danny, Ashley, Tayana, you are all my favorite people! Being 2 min away from Lake Travis &!The Oasis was so clutch! We had mainly out of towners and they really enjoyed getting to be so close to the beauty of the area. Even the locals enjoyed the feel of getting away. Our kids even jumped in the pool and we're able to use the lobby TVs to hook up their Nintendo Switch consoles That really helped a lot and made us feel like this was home. Isn't that the goal of a good hotel? I would think so. The highlight of our stay was our group planting the tree in the back of the property. This is a memory we will cherish forever. So nice of Jean to coordinate this and help us create this beautiful team building activity. When we got a yes for this was when I knew we would be coming back annually. Large rooms, very clean and new building. Gym had brand new equipment including treadmill, rowing machine, bike, weights, etc. The outdoor pool is tiny and shallow. 4 and 1/2 feet max. The best part is the location. We went to dinner at The Oasis two mikes down the road, and Windy Point, Hippie Hollow, and Bob Wentz parks are all a few miles down the road (they don't seem to open until 11:00 am on the weekends). Volente Beach water park is right there. The CVS next door has tons of water supplies (rafts, goggles, towels) as well. The continental breakfast was free, tasty, and kid friendly. read more

Had an okay stay at Hyatt Place, but there were a few incidents that wasn't great. We got there very late so we wanted to sleep in the next day. We put the do not disturb sign on the door. The next morning we got a knock on the door, they wanted to know if we needed housekeeping. I said no, we don't need it today. I checked the door and the do not disturb sign was still hanging on the door. We always took the sign inside when we left the room. We didn't have a problem the second morning, but the third day it happened again. They knocked on the door while the sign was hanging there. We said we weren't ready. Then thirty minutes later the front office called and asked when we were checking out. We said at 11:00. It was a little comical. Apparently the do not disturb sign doesn't mean anything. The coffee was never refilled and the coffee cups were never cleaned and the trash cans weren't always emptied. We might look for another hotel next time we are in the area. read more

If you book a two-bed room, expect to get one bed instead. The hotel is nice, but communication is poor, and they overpromise. We arrived at 5 PM (check-in is at 3), and they said our room wasn't ready. A few minutes later, we got in--only to find a one-bed room instead of two. They claimed the hotel was fully booked but offered food and drinks as compensation BUT, The next day, they said a two-bed room was available, but after leaving for two hours, we returned to find it had been given away. Ice is on 2nd and 4th levels. 5th level has laundry machines available! The rooms are nice. You can broadcast from your device to their TVs. The room we got had a queen bed and pull out couch. Also, mini fridge, coffee maker, and desk area. Very happy with the room, very happy with the included services in the room. The continental breakfast is sufficient. Not GREAT a the waffles are from the frozen section, the French toast is from the frozen section, but the fruit was sweet and refreshing. 3 choices in cereal, 2 choices in milk. Bagel and toast selection with a fancy toasting machine. And then eggs, sausage patty, or French toast or waffles (only one entreeach day). read more

My daughter and I made a last minute trip to Austin. We ate lunch at the Oasis and then came to check in around 1:00. The hotel is only 5 minutes from the restaurant!!! Hospitality was on point!!! The young man who checked us in had wonderful manners and was very personable! They already had a room ready for us at the end of the hall in the corner!! Which is great with a 4 year old with toys and a huge personality!! They serve free breakfast until 9:00 and offer a late check out at 12:00!!! That's amazing when you're traveling alone with a daughter who likes to sleep in on vacations!!! The room was super clean and spacious!! My daughter even commented, "It smells so nice in our room!" Great price for a great room and service!! They also have a full bar downstairs that opens at 3:00. This is a prime location just because the access to so many restaurants!! There is a food truck park one street away with a playground which my daughter loved!!!! Overall, an amazing experience!!!! Thank you guys!!! We will be back!! read more

Terrible night. Contacted the customer service and haven't heard a peep back. So I guess they have a lot of complaints to work through.

Stayed here for 4 nights and the hotel did not disappoint. The room was clean and the staff was very polite. The breakfast in the morning was very good compared to other breakfasts we had since covid became a thing. The weight room has cross cables which was a nice change but nothing else to lift with. They also had a couple treadmills and an outside pool. If we end up staying in the area again we'd make sure to come back here again read more

Gym has no water cups Gym has no wipes Gym has no AC Front desk gals were very nice but their computers were down and we were given rooms without proper check-in. Then at 11:30 am someone opened our door peaked in and left. WTH ‍ Front desk calls at 12:45 am on the room phone (who does that?) they want us to verify id And want us to come downstairs and could not wait till morning.Horrible! Front desk is terrible and don't care at all. Constantly on their phones and look bothered or confused if you approach them with anything.

Worst hotel experience ever. My wife and I booked a room with 2 beds through Expedia. The front desk gave us a room with 1 bed without any notification or explanation during check-in. We went to the room and found that it's not aligned with what we booked. We got out of the room immediately and went back to the 1st floor asking the front desk to change the room. She refused and said that's Expedia's fault, and I should talk to Expedia. I told Expedia that I can check out and found another hotel as long as they refund. But the front desk insisted that we already used the room and refused to refund for that night. It was too late. Kids were starving. They refused to refund. I had to take that room for a night. Not just the room only has 1 bed. It was terrible. None of us had a shower since the water was just dripping a little out of the sprayer no matter how we adjusted it. read more

If I could give this establishment 3 1/2 stars I would. Our stay was okay. The room was decent with a few things they need to fix (the black knob popped off every time we scanned it to go in our room and the towel rack is hanging on by a thread). The sheets need to be replaced because they are pretty dingy. The breakfast was subpar. But I didn't expect too much. Overall, our stay was quiet and the employees we encountered were all friendly. I never take the time to write these reviews, good or bad, but I had to make an exception after witnessing the level of service and commitment from this Hyatt Place hotel. We are remodeling our home and have sought respite in Hyatt Place Austin/Lake Travis/Four Points. We found our break from fumes and dust in this hidden gem! I have stayed at many hotels all over the world and I have very high expectations. My expectations here were far exceeded. From the moment I checked in I was welcomed by extreme kindness and tact from Doxa who made certain that all my needs were met. The check in process was welcoming, it was smooth, and it set the tone for the rest of our stay. She just might be the kindest, sweetest person that I've ever met. Victor attended to all of our needs from servicing our tv (we had some issues with streaming) to making sure our housekeeping schedule was in line with our dog walks so the dog wouldn't have to be in the room during the clean. The actual housekeeper (whom sadly I didn't get his name) was always attentive to when we would slip out so he can quickly tend to our room without disturbing us. Chrisma and Ivan's hospitality and warmth added to our lovely stay. Just super friendly all around! To add to all this, during the middle of our stay, a nationwide ice and snow storm hits across the south to the east coast and our city is struck with damaging ice storms causing poor road conditions, falling tree damage, and power outages. I first hand witnessed families flowing in with their pets and loved ones at all times of the night. Come to find out that Emily, the Front Desk Attendant, slept at the hotel to make sure she can attend to any guests that made it through the storm and needed a place to stay. Not only did she stay the night to make sure all of our needs were met, but so did her manager! The AGM, Shawn, has clearly led by example and has shown his staff how to behave with professionalism and tactfulness through the highs and lows of the day. I didn't get to talk with him, but he seems to be the silent force behind this amazing team of workers. I've played sports all my life and I can see the teamwork and togetherness this crew has. I feel extremely honored to be able to witness it and superbly blessed to reap its benefits. Much gratitude and honor goes out to this Hyatt team. Friendly staff clean ice machines and comfortable rooms make this a nice place to stay. I would have liked a larger refrigerator in the room (it was a cube refrigerator with the tiniest freezer area I have ever seen). There is also no microwave in the room so you have to go down to the lobby every time you want to reheat food or make popcorn. It is nice that they offer a continental breakfast, unfortunately the food is not well heated, the pots are cumbersome when trying to put food on your plate and the order is very unorganized. read more

I stayed here for a second time and it was good but not as good as the first. The staff is very polite and helpful but there were some other issues. Both rooms had a few ants crawling around on the desk in the room (where food is frequently set). In the first (handicapped) room I was in the window shade was motorized and stuck in the closed position, bathroom vanity light not working and part of the lower bathroom vanity missing. I moved to a new room that was better but someone had put loose coffee grounds in the coffee maker water reservoir and I had to rinse that out before I could make coffee. The hotel laundry was on my floor but neither washer would accept coins so the staff let me use the laundry at a partner Residence Inn hotel a couple miles down the road which wasn't ideal but better than nothing. I went to the breakfast area around 8:50 and there was no coffee or waffles but they brought waffles fairly quickly. Also in the second room there was a big puddle of water under the in room mini fridge that didn't seem to dry up. The hotel condition is generally good but they need to work on some things. One thing I especially like about the hotel is there is a bar. However front desk staff coverage isn't very consistent. Oftentimes there is nobody there. read more

Our boys have food allergies and she made certain they had a yummy and safe breakfast to eat. The hotel was clean, organized, and well staffed. We will definitely be returning here! Young women especially, beware! I'd like to start off by saying I'm a loyal Hyatt customer with Discoverist status. My stay isn't even over and I'm already writing a negative review because of how frustrated I am. The breakfast is barely edible. The pork roll was so stiff that I could barely chew it. They couldn't restock the breakfast food fast enough for the demand either. There aren't any refrigerated or frozen grab and go snacks available, so good luck finding anything more than a bag of chips and candy at the front desk. The chrome cast on my T.V. didn't work consistently, the corners of the bathroom floor were filthy, and the fridge in my room froze my salad. Within a day or two my room became infested with fruit flies even though I left all food trash outside my door. I requested my room to be cleaned each day, but it wasn't. Now, here's where it gets really bad. I tried to open my room today, and the key didn't work. The gentleman at the front desk tried to use his master key, and that didn't work either. I was forced to sit downstairs until the the engineer showed up an hour later to get my door open. This man was SO creepy. He made me so uncomfortable by what he was saying and the way he was speaking to me while he was basically breaking into my room. They moved me to a new room because apparently they need a new part from China to fix the door. In my new room, I found the desk busted up and put back together with masking tape. I also found some hair on the floor and the counter. Nothing says welcome during a horrible day quite like that! If you dare to stay at this hotel, make sure you bring an add-a-lock for your personal safety! I know I'll be using mine tonight so the creep of an engineer can't get into my new room! read more
