Probably the nicest Embassy Suites I've stayed at. There is an atrium, but it's much smaller than others. Only about 10% of the rooms actually face it, while the rest are set in a more traditional style with a hallway and rooms down each side. Watch out if you use the luggage carts, though. The ceiling by the elevator (at least on the 3rd floor) is pretty low, and I almost whacked an exit sign off the ceiling with the top of the cart. The room was fantastic! Brand new with flat-screen TVs in the living room and bedroom. The bathroom is shower only with a glass door instead of a shower curtain. The living room seemed a little smaller than older Embassy's, but I think this may be because the room is laid out with the bedroom on the left and the living room on the right as you come in the door, instead of going thru the living room to get to the bedroom like older hotels. The hotel isn't right next to the freeway, but it is close enough that I could hear some noise in the room. As at all Embassy Suites, the breakfast is great. BTW... If you're making the drive between the Bay Area and Phoenix like I was and don't want to do it all in one day, this hotel is just about half way. read more

I have been a resident here at this hotel for the last two weeks. My wife and I have been unfortunately relocated due to the Rorter Ranch gas leak. We found ourselves in Valencia to be closer to my children. I'm so happy here. Our first hotel experience wasn't a good one and after a week we had to find another hotel. This place is wonderful. The staff goes out of the way to remember guests names. In the morning they offer a full complimentary breakfast. The staff in the the restaurant are more than attentive. After the third day they were preparing my omelet just the way I like without asking what I wanted. "Just like yesterday ". They even have free newspapers. Don't hesitate to stay here The entire staff has made us feel like this is home! read more

My family and I stay at embassy suites almost excusivley. South Carolina, La Jolla, Hawaii, Riverside, Utah ect... This is the worst one by far. Like I am saying, we are loyal Embassy Suites family. This is our 4th time staying her in Valencia do to our travel routes and hockey games. I warn you to stay anywhere else. Our room, as well as others that I asked, smell of sewage. We had to have our Windows open all day and night to venalate. Might as well have been in Tijuana. The breakfasts had very limited fruits, old bruised bannanas and only catalope and honeydew. not even any gratefruit. My son was told that they wouldn't even make him pancakes. WTF??? HBO didn't even work. The worst Embassy Suites anywhere. Hilton sould revoke ownership. This may sound weird but staff was very nice. read more

Compared to the other Embassy Suites; this one is very small and quaint. The rooms are clean and spacious. The staff is friendly and attentive. It's close to the theme parks; if you're looking to visit. The complementary breakfast and cocktail hour is a huge plus factor. Perfect place to stay for a weekend family get-away to Magic Mountain. Hotel had a nice, modern feel. All rooms are 2 room "suites," with bedroom (1 King or 2 Queens) in bedroom and separate living room w/ sofa bed, flat screen TV, dining table and kitchenette w/ small fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. Very comfortable for a family stay. Look online for AAA and other discounts. We enjoyed: - Free breakfast, including made to order eggs, omelets, hasbrowns and french toast. - Happy hour 5:30-7:30 w/ free house wine, beer, well drinks & soda and snacks (hummous and pita, chips and salsa, and chex mix; some veggies would be nice) - Convenient location - close to Magic Mountain, but no traffic. - Outdoor pool and jacuzzi (although jets in the hot tub weren't working) - Free WiFi. (parking is now $8/night) - Friendly service at front desk, bar and restaurant. - Restaurant on-site - we ate their once, and not super gourmet, but fine for an easy dinner - salmon penne, steak, kids' meals, pizza, etc. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again. read more

We used Embassy Suites for a hotel block for our wedding. We were really happy with the warm lobby area, great breakfast options, and extremely helpful staff. Rashel helped us with our room rate and really worked to make sure everything was easy for us. Cassie helped us organize a brunch for our guests the day after our wedding, even extending the made-to-order breakfast bar by an hour so our guests could come down at a leisurely pace. Considering where you are, Valencia, CA, in the heart of the Antelope Valley, this place is a gem. For me, I can't think of any good reason for being here, other than going to Magic Mountain, and that WAS our reason for being here. Hotel is still relatively new, the rooms are fabulously clean, the decor is fresh and contemporary, that staff is friendly, the breakfast was good. I've really got nothing to complain about. If I had one complaint at all, it's that I thought the room rate was a little high considering it was... Valencia. We paid less for our Sheraton across the street from Disneyland. But still, if you're stuck (or desiring to be) in Valencia, high marks for the Embassy Suites! read more

Stayed here with my self, and family over the Christmas holiday. Was expecting it to be nicer because.. It's a Hilton? The suite was nice enough but... there were no screens on the windows, one of the lamp shades looked like it had been puked on... there was a tear in the shower curtain and the arm chair in the living room was just nasty. ... It seems like at a cheaper hotel, they put more effort into the cleanliness of the rooms. Besides this, the beds were very comfortable. The linens were a step up from what you get at a cheaper hotel. The downstairs lobby and bar area were very nice but did not match the rooms. BUT for the price, the service was great. I had to call the front desk numerous times and each time they answered the phone quickly and either had an answer or solved what ever problem I was asking about almost instantly. I was impressed by the professionalism of the front desk concierge, Hillary, especially. Everyone else who was working was pretty good too. We were excited for the hot breakfast option but it was so busy each day that we just took the continental breakfast. read more

Embassy Suites are usually pretty great. This was no exception. This location is easy to get to (right off the 5 Freeway and the 126 exit). Free parking, easy check in, free breakfast and happy hour. When life on the road isn't always easy, Embassy Suites makes it so much easier. My room was at the back of the hotel, and the living area had a small kitchenette with mini fridge, a cabinet and microwave. The sitting area had wood laminate floors and included a small couch, a desk with 2 chairs and a TV and really felt like a small apartment. The bedroom also had its own TV, dresser and a small closet. For those that complained about the uncomfortable pull out couches, I didn't try it so I can't say if mine was comfortable or not. But, I've never slept on a comfortable pull out couch anywhere... I don't know why you wouldn't have a car if you're staying in LA, but there really isn't anywhere close by to walk to if you don't have a car, so the free breakfast and happy hour is great! There is a Starbucks in the lobby, but the complimentary coffee at breakfast is Duewe Egbert, a Dutch coffee, so don't miss it if you like coffee! My room was very quiet in the back, and I never heard any neighbors. If you like a quiet room, make sure to request a room away from the lobby. The lobby is huge and the ceiling goes up all 4 stories. I could hear everyone at breakfast even while on the 4th floor standing at the elevator. This would probably be a problem if there is a fun group at the bar at night also. My only complaint is that the doors SLAM REALLY LOUD. Yes, I get that hotel rooms should close behind you for safety and security, but these are exceptionally loud. Most guests don't realize how loud they are and will let them SLAM behind them...particularly in the morning if you are a late sleeper this could be a big annoyance. read more

Beautiful brand new Embassy. This is the first of the new updated Embassy's that I have stayed in. No more Coy Ponds in the Atrium and all the rooms are not set up around the atruim. Very modern decor, rooms were nice and no bath-tub, who really uses the tub anyway. The shower was spacious and very nicly tiled. Even hardwood flooring in the rooms entry. the food was not that great from the restaurant, ordered spring rolls and they were fried like egg rolls. Not much to do in Valencia, besides Magic Mountain , so don"t see myelf going up there again anytime soon but it was convenient for the night. read more

Great place to stay with the Family or a group. I worked with their sales team for a block rate for a cheer squad. The rep was very helpful through out the entire process. All of the staff was very helpful and accommodating. Somehow they managed to host tween cheerleaders and a wedding in the same facility without incident. Happy hour worked out well, parents enjoyed their free cocktails. The breakfast was great with made to order eggs, omelettes, etc, plus a variety of buffet items The rooms were comfortable and worked well for families. I would stay here again! My experience here was great. The staff is friendly and are very helpful from the front desk, cafeteria, to house keeping. They would make eye contact, smile and make verbal contact. A suggestion maybe in the cafeteria there can be a LARGE VISIBLE tip jar for the people cleaning the tables. During my dining experience I did not see a tip jar till after service, I ran into Jose and mentioning the same thing to him, he showed me where the tip jar was. I didn't want to give it to just one person because it was a team effort. Another suggestion would comfortable seating in the laundry room. I did have one problem with booking, but that had nothing to do with the hotel it's self I've booked through a third-party and they booked me a room that was no longer available. Embassy suites did their best to make up for that mistake, although it was not them directly. I very much appreciate the accommodations they did. Which made me write this review. It's the little things that counted. Like the lady that gave me free Wi-Fi for the night. Or Rachel that gave me soap pod to wash my clothes. What was I thinking staying here again????? We haven't been here since 2012 and decided to try the hotel again. Why you ask? CONVEINANCE. That is what drove my decision! I should have re-read my last review for this place so I wouldn't of made the mistake of staying in this damn place. My friends checked into room 203 and quickly changed rooms because it smelled like PEE-EVERYWHERE. NASTY. When we went to check in, they said our reservations were cancelled. A Reservation we made over a month ago! Front desk woman named Yuli said "someone" cancelled it but she couldn't tell me who. I also heard her saying on the phone they are fully booked so I am assuming they gave my room away. I Hate this f-cking place. Never again. Never f'ing again. I give this place 0000 stars. Short and sweet review - this a GREAT stop if you need a break on the north side of LA. We left Disneyland late one night and couldn't make it all the way back to the bay. Our goal was to get on the other side of LA before Wednesday Thanksgiving traffic. It was a great plan, as we missed their horrid traffic, and made it home the next morning in under 4 hours. I read the negative reviews, but have to wonder if they stayed at the same hotel that I did, since I found the place outstanding. Great Service, Clean, Nice Workout Facility & Beautiful Room. I would highly recommend it. SERVICE: There were always 2-3 people at the front desk and nearly every thing I asked for they went out of their way to get for me. When I asked for extra pillows and towels, they quickly brought those to me. I had missed the breakfast deadline, and the person at the front desk asked me what I wanted, went to the kitchen and brought me breakfast! My husband was on a business trip, and didn't get back until a little later, and the manager Jeroen Biuks was very caring, and extended my checkout time for me and helped me out with getting lunch since my husband had the car. Despite the many times I was downstairs asking for something, they always had a friendly smile and went out of their way. It was truly outstanding customer service. ROOM: I had a beautiful room with a view of the courtyard and pool. The room was extremely clean and very nice. I slept great in the very comfortable bed. I loved the shower, it was large and spacious. The flat screen TVs in both the livingroom and bedroom were sharp. WORKOUT: Great workout room, clean and nice. LOCAL AREA: There's a real nice indoor/outdoor shopping mall within a few minutes away with main stores, nice bar with an outdoor fireplace (Salt Creek), a wine bar/store, and many other great shops. If I had to come up with a complaint on something, it would be that they had a neat-looking lunch / Starbucks coffee area that made you crave ordering from there, but had limited hours. This is not a 3.5 star hotel at all. Very disappointing coming from the Scottsdale, AZ area. Although they had excellent coffee in rooms and in dining-The Coffee Bean, the food was just OK. The cook to order is only plain eggs, omelette or plain pancakes. The buffet section was not appetizing, appearance was poor. Rooms were nice, but nothing to brag about. The "pleather" sofa smelled of sour feet. The shower was awesome tho! The gym was pathetic, more fit for an elderly person, you will not get your regular workout in here! There was no courtesy or shuttle transportation to Six Flags, and so you pay $20 for parking online. In my experience, the Sheraton hotels far exceed the expectations of your 3.5-4.0 star hotel. Can't say I will be back at this location, maybe try another city. read more

Best Hotel for families. I live in Las Vegas where there many hotels to choose from. I've stayed at top hotels including the Bellagio where customer service is a plus. My recent stay at this hotel shocked me right as I was greeted at check in. Viri,the young lady at the front desk was very helpful, respectful and overall a sweetheart. My check in was over in less than 5 minutes. During my quiet morning coffee time,before my kids woke up, I was greeted by an elder gentleman named Jose who help me find everything I needed for a light breakfast and coffee.The breakfast buffet was a amazing and my kids enjoyed it as well. Overall this is the best hotel I've had the joy to stay at. The two mentioned above provided the best customer service I have yet to receive including from retail stores. read more

We made the reservation a couple of months ago, never asking for a handicap room but this is what we got. My husband is 6'4" tall and can in no way use any mirror in the suite and, of course, there was no bathtub for me. When we brought this up to the desk clerk, she blamed hotels.com. Not her responsibility and did not offer a change even though the hotel is not full. There were also no bath towels in the room so my husband had to go get them himself. There are many nice hotels in the immediate vicinity, do not pick this one. read more

I stay here for work and its been over a month. Apparently, they refuse to give the honor reward points when all other hotels in the Hilton family have given these as we all use our own credit cards. I have been charged $75/day for incidentals and yes, per day at over 30 days is not cheap! There are roughly 20 employees here in the same situation and we all buy food and drinks here as well as tip all the staff well. I am highly disappointed that our loyalty is not returned through the HONOR program. What kind of global hospitality is this? Not to mention the kind of unforgettable experience this has turned into. I dont define this as an exceptional guest experience. To add to this frustration, I called the honors program 1-800 # and went in circles for hours on how "I know their policy". Clearly I did not know I would get this treatment nor my points that they ask me to sign up for, not honored. She kept reading prompts from a screen, quoting how its a company and I kept repeating i use my own card. When transfered to a supervisor, they said they would fix my points and I was quickly disconnected. I spent hours on the phone and quite frankly, I am disappointed in the Hilton chain at this point due to the Valencia location. Room service has never answered the phone for me, although I have attempted many times. People scream through the hallways at all hours, and I never have toilet paper. Since I have been here, elevators have been out, power has been out, the fire alarm has gone off due to water pipes breaking... the frustration is real. Thanks for the hospitality. read more

Yesterday I stayed at the embassy suites Valencia for my birthday.I have 2 Foster children and I wanted to take them to have the hotel experience that they've never had before. Once we got there we stopped at the local store to purchase some swimwear, we checked in. when we got inside the hotel we were told that the pool waa closed, after I checked in. This was very disappointing, the kids begin to cry. we then went upstairs so we can get some lunch there had no Room service. so we left there and we drove around in the area there was no restaurants basically open. And its understandable covid and safety is important.we came back to the hotel after going through a drive-through and getting some food. When we got back to the hotel I wanted to have a pajama party. I bought my computer so we can watch Disney movies the hotel had no HDMI cable so we ended up watching basically the news and murder channels. I set my alarm clock for the morning so we can get up on time so the kids can have a buffet breakfast and they told us that then there is no breakfast. So I was charged almost a $170 and I let them know that I came there for the amenities that was the reason I chose the hotel and they did not feel like it was important so basically we paid a $170 to sleep. the kids were very disappointed in even though it was my birthday that would have made me happy to see them happy. they offered no reimbursement not even 10%. I booked online they have the advertisement online about the pool and the buffet breakfast and everything so basically that's false advertisement. Inside the hotel they have it all around and I saw it in the elevator about the breakfast but they have nothing to say about it and no one felt compassion. the kids were disappointed so I will not be returning back to the hotel read more

This is my family's best and number one choice when we visit L.A. I have been staying here since about 5 years ago and they never disappointed me even once. My rate was about $98 - $119 a night, and this is totally reasonable rate for their room quality and breakfast. Order to cook omlet is really amazing. It is even better than any other hotels I have been in my life. Service is always friendly and there is nothing that they do to turn us down. During Christmas time me and my family including my newborn and two year old stayed here at the last minute .We booked this on hotels.com because the young children were exausted after traveling from San Jose they were in car for many hours . We were very pleased with our room and staff very polite . Beautiful hotel inside and out . The bathroom was fantastic great jets in the shower i could of stayed there for hours . The king size bed was huge and so comfy . The hotel staff brought lots of towels for us :-) I will definaetly be coming back for a visit here again . The free breakfast was delicious . Not impressed with this hotel at all. Check out time is 11 AM and the maid was in the room cleaning at 10. She was resentful that "the luggage wasn't here" and apparently just walked in. We were loading luggage and returned to the room. They don't supply "do not disturb signs". Management was not overly concerned Wouldn't hurt if some in the staff in general had smiles. read more

FANTASTIC Hotel..and I am VERY picky with Hotels. I booked two nights at the Embassy Suites on Hotwire and was not sure what I was going to get. It turns out I was extremely impressed by the friendly staff, the clean lobby, lobby bathroom and restaurant, the spacious bathroom/shower, the FREE beer/wine/hard alcohol happy hour between 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm daily, the complimentary breakfast, location to Magic Mountain, and the free TROLLEY/Shuttle to and from the parks. It was across the freeway from the parks, so not on top but not too far. (approx 5 minute drive) It was a quite location and very family friendly. The suite was clean and the King bed was comfortable. I would definitely stay here again our next visit to Magic Mountain. Extra perk...35 minutes from Hollywood!! OH...AND...the water pressure was WONDERFUL in the shower!! =) Only con is the hotel charges $10 a day, which was odd since there was tons of self parking. read more

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. It is very clean. The suites are set up nicely. The beds were small - they were double beds instead of queens. The bathrooms are large and lots of room to move around. The breakfast was nice with cooked to order omelets and eggs any style. The negatives were that the air conditioning is very loud. Even when the air conditioning for the room that you are staying in is off, you can still hear the air conditioning from other rooms which sounds like a very loud truck sitting right outside your window. The other thing that I did not like was that you have to pay for wifi, even in the public areas. I went to ask about free wifi and they didn't even suggest that I use the free internet in the business center. Customer service is a little lacking. read more

One exit away from magic mountain, this is our frequent midway pit stop on our way to SoCal. We've stayed here a number of times. The last couple times have been really cheap stays, I am assuming, because their lobby area has been under construction for months. The stays are cheap & the breakfast buffet + evening wine/beer reception can make it a break-even experience. They have Sculpin on tap at the bar (not complimentary)....plus one star just for having that on tap for me. Just keep in mind that being such a value and right across the way from magic mountain, you are going to see a lot less of the typical Embassy Suites business travelers and a lot more vacation/tourist family travelers. That definitely changes the feel of a hotel. Last stay was about &$99/night. This most recent stay cost me about 35k Hilton Honors points. To put that in perspective, a night at a Hilton in Tracy or Ripon, CA have cost me 45k point where as a night in major international cities have cost me 65k to 100k points. But even when you pay for the Valencia room with HH points, they still get you for taxes and parking fees ($12/day) charged to your credit card. read more

Meh... Some of the staff is great (Yulie at registration and one of the restaurant servers), while others (including the female bartender) were oblivious... just going through the motions. During happy hour, the bartender didn't notice me, helped three others who came to the bar after me, spent time chatting with her friends, and would have caused me to miss out on HH if I hadn't interrupted her during her personal chat. I moved to the dining area to find they were out of the meal I ordered, and never had my server even ask if I wanted anothwr HH beer before it ended... like the other server asker her customer. Oh, and a dirty dusting wrag on my table, filthy furniture... just dated and ick! Yulie is the only reason this place scored 3 stars. It's certainly not like the Hyatt Regency in Indian Wells... Perhaps this is why I'm normally a Hyatt and Marriott guy. read more
