Stayed two nights middle of the week. The hotel was probably 85% corporate folks! met a few families on holiday, nice to chat with. Breakfast is included in your stay, we ordered a vegetable omelet (you can get bacon and sausage, but we are vegetarian) made to order. Or around the corner, again, free, make your own waffles, yummy! Plus, scrambled eggs, oatmeal, yogurt, fruit, etc. Also, at night, certain nights, there are free well drinks and snacks from 5-7 at the bar. Our first room needed a rehab, the wallpaper was peeling in the bedroom, far corner, and smelled like it had not been aired out in a long time. Went downstairs, they got me a new room, no problem. Much better, funny thing, after reading other reviews, very true, the walls are very thin...they need to move the beds away from the wall and perhaps add a little bit more insulation during their next rehab. Enough said. Our bed was comfortable, room clean, enough pillows for the two of us, the detergent used was not overwhelming (I suffer from migraines due to lighting, smells etc) some hotels love using detergents that smell like flowers, a killer for me! The staff, I cannot say enough about, could not find a soul who did not go out of their way to be helpful. We even did laundry and joked around a bit with some of the staff while coming and going. The parking is outside, it does not rain a lot in CA to be worried, the area seemed secure. Would stay again when in the area. read more

This Embassy Suites is our favorite stop on our way into and out of LA. We have a family of 4, so the extra room is a big plus. There's a big desk for my daughter to do her homework, a separate TV for my son to watch. Just perfect for our needs. This Embassy is pretty clean. It has a pool and areal nice lounge area in the middle where they serve the breakfast and happy hour. The breakfast was great with cook to order omelets, hash browns, fresh fruit, cereal and juice. We easily save $30-$40 with the free breakfast. The people here are all real nice, from the front desk to the cooks. And the price is usually very reasonable - around $120-$130. It will be even better with free wifi in the rooms. One downside is that its real close to Magic Mountain, so during the weekends, school breaks and summer you'll have lots of rugrats running around. There's a lot of good restaurants within a short drive, all not too crowded. All-in-all, an enjoyable relaxing visit and will be back. read more

This Embassy Suites was located extremely close to Six Flags Magic Mountain. That was why we chose this hotel to stay one night. The parking lot was filled up with a few spaces opened in the back of the building and the parking was $6 per night. There were 4 floors and everything looked clean from what I saw. There was a bar in the lobby which had a few people there already when we arrived in the evening. The room was cozy and had two beds and two TVs. There was also a sofa bed which didn't look very comfortable to me. Everything else about the room was what I would expect from an Embassy Suite. The breakfast staff were friendly and the chef had a sense of humor. The staff that picked up the plates were prompt so we didn't have a pile of plates on our table. Overall, I thought this hotel was good and close to Six Flags Magic Mountain. read more

This was the worst hotel experience we've ever had. We live locally in Santa Clarita and had to find somewhere to stay with our 18 month old as we had a leak in our house. We chose Embassy Suites as we are Hilton Honors members and expected the Hilton quality that we are used to. The lobby seemed clean and nicely updated. Once we went up the elevator and got to our floor, the ceiling was so low my husband had to duck at one point. The hallway of our floor reeked of weed but it didn't smell once we got to our room and it was getting late so we set up the pack n play and put our son down to sleep. After he fell asleep we noticed there were splashes of liquid on 2 of the door jams (coffee maybe?). I wiped it up with a baby wipe. Not a huge deal. In the bedroom we noticed food stains on the dresser, what appeared to be cracker crumbs on the dresser, green toothpaste on the outlet above the dresser, and huge scuff marks on the wall. Okay maybe they missed a few things. We are really not the type to complain. My husband and I stay in hotels 8-10 times per year and in our 9 years together we have never complained about a room. I went in the bathroom to get ready to shower, and noticed the grout was missing in a majority of the floor. Huge sections by the toilet had almost zero grout around the tiles and dirt caked down in there. Then I noticed the outside of the toilet had a pube on it. And the toilet had poop stains inside the bowl. They clearly didn't scrub/wipe down the toilet at all. The shower tiles looked old and mildewy. And there was what appeared to be dots of mold on the bottom corner of the shower door. After the pube I was pretty much done. We were too grossed out to shower there, but couldn't leave because our baby was already asleep in the living room area, and it was already a late night for all of us. The sheets seemed clean so we sucked it up and spent the night. We decided to skip complimentary breakfast in the morning since we didn't want to eat somewhere with such low cleaning standards. Early the next morning, my husband checked out downstairs and asked for a cart for all our luggage (which if you have a small child you know is a lot). After a half hour we got sick of waiting and just carried everything out. We will be telling everyone we know how disgusting this hotel was and we would never recommend it to any of our friends or family visiting from out of town. *** They did give us a 30% refund after we complained but this is still unacceptable and I wouldn't stay here again, no matter the discount. read more

I'm a Hilton Honors Member, and I stay in Embassy Suites all over the country. While customer service, facility maintenance, facility newness, and sharpness vary from city to city, this Embassy Suites in Valencia California has set a new low in our family's experience. Check-in is at 4pm, but upon arrival at 4:15pm we sat and waited over 45 minutes for our room to be "cleaned" and ready. The service has been inattentive, non-communicative, and short with us. Now, here is the kicker...we have stayed here twice in one week, Sunday night then again on Friday night...and they put us in the exact same room. It has no bedding for the pullout couch bed, it has the same dried liquids splashed on the furniture on Friday as it did on Sunday too, when I assumed it was because it was "cleaned" in a hurry, since we had waited so long for our room. But no, this is just a dirty, dingy, worn out, pathetic version of an Embassy Suites, with $12 parking fee for no apparent reason as a bonus. Book elsewhere. read more

We were unfortunately not pleased with our stay. House keeping is a voicemail, the hotel grounds have really not been up kept. It took an act of god to get clean towels to our room. We ran out of toilet paper and after over 4 hours I called again and they said I could come to front desk and get it myself. Floors were gross in our rooms, found hair extensions under the bed in our room after it had been cleaned and syrup stains on the counters. We will not be coming back to this hotel. Immediately upon checking in we did not feel welcomed, the manager, Morris was rude and impatient felt like I couldn't ask any questions about the hotel amenities it was a very rushed check in. We put a lot of money into that stay with several family members staying at this Embassy suites, which I recommended only to be burned by a Staff that was staring at us and obviously talking about us the whole weekend. I've never experienced anything like this at any Embassy suites in my life. They acted like the food drinks everything we're coming straight out of their pockets mind you we paid for drinks and we paid for food not only the manager hosted Happy Hour or free breakfast. There's so much more to say about this place that is not positive, but I will leave it at that because I've said enough to let you know you should not stay there. One more important thing. Do not let them charge your room for anything extra that you pay for in the restaurant or bar because they charged my room for an item that I already had paid for. As Diamond Hilton members we are pretty picky about where we stay this place has been recently renovated. New carpeting, paint and wall paper as well as new furniture. We went to celebrate my sons birthday weekend. We were able to check in earlier than 4pm. We enjoyed the pool area, it was clean and there are stands that have clean towels. Daily between 530pm to 730pm they provide complimentary beer, wine, drinks for adults and children have soda with a various of snacks. Breakfast was excellent! Made to order omelette, hashbrowns, bacon, sausage. There's also an oatmeal bar that offers fresh fruit fresh pastries as well as other breakfast options like French toast scrambled eggs tater tot's. There's also cereal section following juice soda and coffee. Overall it's clean and well kept. Our room was a suite and accommodated 6 people, separate living area made it like a one bedroom apartment with refrigerator, microwave, sink and coffee area. It was fabulous and definitely looking forward to other embassy suits. read more

The staff was friendly. The room was clean, but the drawers in the dresser were all broken. There was mold in a few spots in the shower/bathroom. The heat did not work at all during our stay. They sent maintenance up to fix the issue, but it was never fixed (we set the heat to 70-degrees at 8pm and some time during the night it stopped working and dropped to 62-degrees with the fan continuously running EVERY NIGHT). My in-laws who were also on the 4th floor had the same issue with the heat in their room. The breakfast was good, but limited and some of the bread items were very stale on multiple days. read more

The walls were a bit thin, no sound proofing. I heard the neighbor coughing all night. I can hear his door open all night and it sounded like my door was attempting to be opened. Room 228. Our room was very updated, nice and posh as you would expect for the price. We were really only here to sleep and did not have time to enjoy all the wonderful amenities Im sure they had, so I can't comment on anything else. This was what I wanted! Last time I stayed at the Hyatt Regency and was completely disappointed. So this time we came here. Wonderful breakfast served every morning. Happy hour is from 5:30-7:30 with snacks, free beer and wine. Beautiful rooms and a restaurant. Maids don't knock on your door to clean at 9:00 in the morning. Internet works. The only bummer here is they charge for parking. But if you come for a corporate trip I guess that doesn't really matter. The pool is nice and kept clean. Hotel is updated. Does not smell. This was always my go to spot when having to stay in or around Santa Clarita for work. The evening reception was always a time to look forward to after work. The epic cooked to order breakfast just an elevator ride away was always wonderful to wake up to to. Then covid. Boo covid. I understand all the safety protocols and necessary precautions, but for the price of the room I would of thought Embassy could be more innovative and creative with modifications. Now you are given a card to pick from for your breakfast. You can choose either a breakfast burrito, omelette or all American breakfast with eggs, bacon, and a stick of a hash brown like McDonald's. There are no substitutions and if your still hungry after, well you're on your own. Evening reception is cancelled and gone. So next time I will pick another comparable hotel chain for less money and then visit a local breakfast and brewery for food and networking. And if you don't already know, parking is not free, it's $12. a night, something Embassy should just make complimentary for their loyal and Hilton club members. If you held Embassy to a certain standard before covid you may want to call to confirm that they are still operating at that standard or chance being disappointed like I was. read more

This Embassy Suites has an attentive and competent staff. But one person stuck out from the moment I arrived. As I sat down in the restaurant at 5min to closing, the server Debbie, came over. She was welcoming and made us feel like we could relax while eating and keeping her there. The next night she was the bartender and a better experience could not be had at the fanciest bar!!! Debbie is entertaining, a great server and a super nice person. We were thrilled when we learned that she farms avocados! And the next day, she brought us a huge bag to take home! As result of work I need to travel frequently and my family and I have found embassy suites one of our favorite properties. This property was nice but not one of embassy suites best for service. Breakfast is posted at 7am and they didn't get it started until 0720 which is a huge issue when you need to be a distance away at 0800. I booked this hotel through Priceline. Needed 2beds. Front desk refused to accommodate. Spend 30 mins on the phone with Priceline to tell me I had to take it up to hotel. After a long day of driving I just wanted to go to sleep. Hotel wasn't even full. The front desk girl with dark complexion with black frizzle hair in a ponytail refused to reassigned my room and show no empathy or sincerity at all. Disappointed in customer service. Hotel size was a decent size because it was almost like a studio apartment. It's a tad dirty for my taste. Personally the walls needed paint retouching. Deep cleaning of the hotel would be nice. Hotel hallway carpet was completely dirty. Would I stay there again maybe if I really have to. Enjoyed our stay here. It was for just one night but the hotel room was spacious with 2 double beds and a sofa bed. There was also a good fridge and bar sink with a coffee maker next to it. The breakfast was good and fresh but you have to come early and wait in line to have your food cooked. I called as soon as I realized and the manager was NO help at all. He was so rude on the phone. I couldn't understand him and when I was asking for his name he got really disrespectful and tries arguing with me about how many times I asked his name. After I realized that all this man cared about was how much money he could take from customers, I decided to call corporate instead. I asked "Willy" for corporates phone number and he told me "to figure it out myself" and then proceeded to hang up on me. I have never come in contact with a more disrespectful person. I have been a Hilton Honors member for quite some time but now I will not go back to that establishment. I did find corporates phone number and called them to send in a complaint. The Embassy Suites in Valencia is a fairly nice facility. The staff was pleasant and in this time of the Delta Variant of Covid, they were masked and kept the facility cleaned. The breakfast was fine and what you would expect at any Embassy Suites. The evening snacks were ok and the bartender was great. The pool and gym were good and much better than other hotels. My only issue was the shower had mold in it but I didn't report it to housekeeping. But actually after spending a long hot day at Magic Mountain this place was paradise and the service was way better than Magic Mountain. Some nice restaurants are within a 15 minute drive. I would consider staying here again, if in the area. LOL, I would rather visit the hotel again than Magic Mountain again... read more

I was VERY disappointed with this Hotel. I live in town but spent the night here with my Fiance's family while they were here visiting and it sucked. I was going to have to sleep on the pull out bed and that wasn't going to be an issue, that is until I felt how terribly uncomfortable it was, it was like lying on metal springs and bars in a torture chamber. I have back problems and there was no way that I would have been able to sleep on it unless I wanted to be taken away in a wheel chair the next day, now I know that isn't the Hotels fault but it is an Embassy Suites, you would think the beds would be comfortable considering the price you pay and that it is sort of a high end hotel. So we called the front desk and the Supervisor came up to the room and showed us another room to see if that pull out bed was any better and it was just as terrible as the other one, after that the Supervisor basically did absolutely nothing and just left, not to mention the Supervisor gave us an attitude the whole time he was showing us the other room. We ended up calling corporate to complain and after we complained the manager called us from his home and apologized for the situation and told us he was going to give us a second room free of charge so I could sleep on a real bed. Another thing that was annoying was the shower curtain rod in the shower in both rooms was broken and the shower curtain would not shut properly and water got everywhere. In the end it all worked out, but the point I am trying to get at is that pull out beds are still horribly uncomfortable and something needs to be done about them. read more

I want to preface this review by saying that I am an Embassy Suites fan. However, I finally had a bad experience at one of their hotels and couldn't find a manager that gave a shit so I'll vent here. My family and I checked in late on 7/23/14 for a 3 day adventure at Magic Mountain. It was around 11-ish. Don't remember the exact time. Anyway, the pull out bed, which I needed for my kids, was broken.... completely broken. Pokey bits in the mattress and a broken down "cereal bowl" that was supposed to support two kids. Well, it didn't. So anyway, I called down stairs to ask to switch or get a roll-a-way or something but no one answered the phone. So I waited, took a shower and called again.... no answer. So I got dressed and headed down stairs. No one was there. So I decided to wander around and see if I could see anyone, anywhere. Yup you guessed it; nobody. So I wander back in and finally see someone at the counter! YEA! But my excitement was throttled as I got closer because I realized it was not the typical hospitality employee. It was, what I can only assume was a kitchen worker in a chef's jacket standing with their back to the counter. What the hell, I'll throw caution to the wind and interact with the individual they made babysit the counter. "Hello." I said.... nothing. "HELLO!" I said louder.... still, this individual never turned around. That is when I heard it. Music; loud music blasting from the kitchen workers I-pod into her earbuds. She couldn't have heard a Mack truck honking at her with the volume she was pumping into her brain bucket. Instead of having a meltdown on someone who would not have appreciated my rant I retreated upstairs to a broken bed and a cranky family. Three of us ended up sleeping in the king sized bed and my oldest got the floor. $186.68 a night and we have to sleep on the floor. So, I was loaded for bear the next morning 7/24. I took the elevator down and went in search of a manager while the family ate breakfast. I waited in a five deep line of guests for 15 min while one little girl tried to help them. Once I made it to the counter I was told the manager was running late. OK, I'll go have breakfast and wait.... and wait.... and wait... Many cups of coffee later I decided to hit up the restroom 50 feet off the dining room. That was when I noticed it. Yup, along the wall, inside the first stall was a line of rat droppings. That was the last straw. I fed my family and let them sleep in a hotel where management is EXTREMELY suspect. I couldn't find one person that gave a flying f*ck at any point during my stay here. So the end result of this foobar was we immediately checked out, wandered across the parking lot to the Marriott Courtyard and got a new room immediately for 125.00 a night and no rat scat breakfast! We had a wonderful 5 night stay and no one slept on the floor. We win... read more

first off me and my family had a great time visiting Valencia CA. the theme park etc. we slept good every night at this hotel the problem was the free happy hour they provided, we stay at Embassy Suites when we are traveling because of the Happy hour they offer "5:30pm - 7:30pm" plus the large spacious rooms (pullout bed for the kids) we just came back from Six Flags Hurricane Harbor and wanted to get a few free drinks before we head back out for dinner we were standing in line waiting for our turn to tell the Bartender what we wanted before my wife could tell him he asked her for her room key to prove she had a room at the hotel because the free happy hour are for customers only keep in mind he didn't ask any of the people in line in front of us she asked him why he didn't ask anyone else of course he began to lie and say he asked everyone, a female that overheard us came over and said people off the street that dont have a room been walking in & taking advantage of the Happy hour, we understood that but why single us out? ask everyone not just us, and after we said no thanks thats ok we dont want your drinks I watched countless people tell the Bartender what they wanted without him asking for a room key... countless! read more

Not Hilton quality. First the good. The beds and linens were good. The breakfast is great with a good variety but by far the best thing was Julio the breakfast chef. He is fun, fast and makes you smile. Most of the staff in the kitchen area were very pleasant. The bad. On arrival I noticed trash on the floor as you step out of the elevators. It remained through all four days as well as anything else that was dropped on the floors. The tile in the lobby was always dirty and sticky. Granted there were lots of kids in the hotel but the floors for sure weren't vacuumed for four days otherwise the trash would be gone. The elevators were out of service twice. The work out room did not have any towels and the TVs on the elliptical and treadmills were not operational. The ice machine on the second floor did not work. The bar staff were not very friendly. The ugly. Our room was vandalized and belongings were stolen. Our door didn't properly latch. We reported this to the police and the front desk. Our response was ok we will make a note in the computer. The manager on duty, Rea, didn't even talk to us for three hours and did not even want to see the improperly latching door. Doesn't feel like they care about the security or their patrons. We were there with a team and one parent came back to her room to find a strange man coming out. In addition, another parent had their car broken into in the parking lot and their third row seats were stolen. Sure looks like this hotel has a problem! read more

Came to Valencia for Magic Mountain and needed a hotel close by. Embassy was great! They had good service, close to MM and I got a wonderful deal via Priceline. Free parking, cook-to-order breakfasts, and spacious suites = happy me! Seemed like a fairly new hotel, and was kept up nicely. The pool was heated and they provide towels. The night I was there, there were two parties going on in the banquet areas. Although they were loud and gettin' their groove on- it didn't bother the other guests even when we were in the courtyard. If I go back to Magic Mountain, definitely staying at Embassy Suites. read more

This place is a nice rest stop if your going to LA/SD or if you wanna stay for the night to hit up Six Flags Magic Mountain. The suit we got wasn't as big as expected for other experiences of Embassy Suites, but held up nonetheless. They do have a pool and spa area outdoors as well as a weight room indoors. Not sure on weekdays but they do have an all you can eat breakfast buffet from 7am-1030am I believe. They make some pretty good omelets. Another perks I found out and utilized was the managers complimentary happy hour all you can drink from 5pm to 730pm. Bartender I had was April and she was cool with making drinks as well as suggestions on what to have. She also gave me some insight on who comes through and what there is to do in Valencia, and that's absolutely nothing. Stayed here alot in 2009-2010. It goes without saying that it felt newer back then. I felt it was worth it over staying in the San Fernando Valley. The condition of the place still beats some of the older Embassy Suites properties I've been to. The water pressure is good. The shower drains, etc When I returned this past January, I felt that perhaps they are slipping a bit in terms of value and service. Not sure if it's because I am no longer Diamond status. Checking in was a breeze now when we for to the room the TV didn't work so we called the front desk and they had someone come to our room fast and fix the problem. So i book a room with Rachel and I asked for a discount rate due to my company is having a seminar event in their hotel. Rachel clearly said it is $159 and I asked again what is the rate w/o a discount and rachel said $171. So Rachel booked my room while i am still on the phone. On the email confirmation it is now $169 and called Rachel about it and she strongly insisted it is $169. I asked for a manager and put me on forever hold. I told rachel it dont make sense that there is only a $2 difference for telling me the room is $171 w/o a discount and now you're insisting the discount rate is $169. I decided to speak to general manager althia even worst after speaking with her of not even offering a solution. I asked as a courtesy just to give me the $159 rate with 2 beds so we can just end this conversation to avoid the stress and avoid writing me this complain in yelp. Well they say is whatever is the culture of the leader is also the culture of their downline or staff under them. althia was telling me that her staff rachel is friendly and flexible to customers but in reality after confronting both of these ladies the truth of their character comes out. rachel has this defensive intonation of her voice that sounds a turn off to customers and althia the general manager is also the same thing. I was really expecting that althia will do a few adjustment for me because my company has been using their hotel yearly for seminar. This was the worst place to have a party! The Director that was in charge was just plain lazy, never responds to email and she was not good at all....They even over charged is for food! So beware before you decide to do anything in this venue. Service was lousy and it was not the best place to do a party at all.. If I can give zero star I would! I get it, its summer and the pruces are going to skyrocket. But we choose this brand becuase its consistent, unfortunately this place is a mess. The phones in our room are broken, the sofa bed is destroyed. We informed them of this and we were told it will get fixed in two days, thats when we leave? I asked why and was told that the engineer is super slammed becuase they are almost full. So what youre saying is that everyone has a problem with something and they all need to be fixed. Well that just goes to show that this place is a mess. And for the breakfast they keep everything behind the kitchen station. You have to line up for 20 to 30 min on this omlete station to get bacon, pancakes or sausage. I get food controll but there has to be a better system. The hotel was supposedly almost sold out, why would you only have a total of 3 staff for the entire breakfast? They were running out of everything and the 1 waitstaff couldnt replenish anything. Poor lady was being yelled at by others for not being informed to line up for the breakfast meats. There was 1 chef to do omelettes and 1 sous chef to prep the omletes for him. It was comical. Since this hotel is by the theme park and there arent very many around, they get theyre rush in the summertime when families take the vacations. Im sure the rest of the year is slow. Ill try the Marriot next door the next time Im around here. read more

Took my boyfriend on a surprise trip to SoCal for his birthday and I wanted a great hotel to complete the trip. After looking at tons of hotels for hours, I decided on the Embassy Suites. As soon as we pulled up my boyfriend was excited and things got better from there. Upon checking in we learned we had arrived just in time for their reception hour which included complimentary beer, wine, cocktails and snacks every evening from 5:30-7:30 (if I remember correctly). We stayed in a King suite that had a separate living room from the bedroom, spacious bathroom, large dining table, microwave and refrigerator. Our room was very clean, beds were comfortable, and the staff was great. One of the other great things about this hotel is the amazing breakfast buffet they have. Breakfast cooked to order (Omlettes, pancakes, bacon, sausage, hash browns) then there is also a separate area for oatmeal, fruit, pasteries, eggs, potatoes, bagels and cereal. My only issue was that we did end up with a handicap shower which was actually fine except the water pressure from the shower head was a bit off. In order to get a good stream we had to turn up the heat a lot. We made due however so not a huge deal for us. All in all this was an amazing hotel and I would definitely stay here again :)! read more
