Overall solid hotel for a quick night's stay otw back from our LA trip. Location was close to the freeway, prices were decent, rooms were spacious and there's free breakfast. I booked a few king suites via booking.com and embassy suites was able to update them to double beds for no extra charge, which was ideal for our party of 5 adults and a toddler. $15/day for parking. There's a small convenience store with some snacks and beverages, a bar/restaurant with central guest seating in the heart of the restaurant. We were able to get some free drink tickets to use at the bar before 6:30p. My toddler enjoyed the big Christmas tree display in the lobby. Rooms and beds were comfortable but the furniture esp the couches could use a cleaning/reupholstery, the bathtub had some rust and there was an intermittent blinking light in our room. The breakfast was above average - I'd recommend the omelet station. They also have apples, bananas, yogurt, bread, cold cereal and oatmeal, hot food -scrambled eggs, waffle sticks, breakfast potatoes. The blossoms restaurant has ok food- we got the chicken wings, tacos, Caesar salad, and the quesadilla. We didn't get to try the pool- too cold and rainy- but recommend staying here if you want to cover some mileage before heading back to the bay!

Don't use Dryer #2 unless you're sure it works. Couldn't dry a small load during my stay mid April '26.

When staying at a hotel, one of the things that bother me most is extreme outside noise. A couple sources of it were extremely thin walls & road noise. Thin walls: I read previous reviews where it was mentioned, "it sounded like kids doing cannon balls", etc. So I made sure to book the top (4th) floor for my 5-night stay. Oh my, without even having anyone above, it sure sounded like! I couldn't believe guests walking in neighboring rooms could sound so loud from mine (and sound like they were coming from above, which wasn't possible). Additionally, I lost lots of sleep as I could clearly hear my neighbors conversations each night, past midnight. They were speaking at a normal level too! Road Noise: To add on to picking a room location with no upstairs neighbors, I assumed the more quiet side of the building would face Newhall Ranch Rd. rather than I5. Well, that road was extremely loud too... I'd hate to hear what it would be like facing I5! TIP for parking: I read a review that they were charged even for street parking. That is that reviewers fault. During my 5-nights, I parked on the street (culdesac) nightly, saving the $15/night. You only pay for parking if you accept their parking pass! I couldn't believe how it seemed just myself and 1 or 2 others parked on the street (it's safe). It's not like the hotel parking is gated and it is footsteps from the street parking. Heck, street parking is can actually be closer to the entrance than most of the hotel parking! Laundry: Dryer #2 is a money sucker! Fortunately the contractor who operates the machine is responsive & reimbursed me quickly. But it was a major inconvenience as I was prepping to pack and having to wait for the 2nd of 2 dryers in the room to become available. It took 3 attempts to dry 1 load. Staff should take the machine "Out of Order" until the contractor fixes it! Appearance: from the outside & all aspects of the interior until you get in the elevator, this hotel looks pretty nice. But once those elevator doors open to your floor, you're in a different world. The hallways were so dark & gloomy and I often thought how it looked like a haunted hotel. Fortunately I didn't notice any odd odors in the stretch of hallway to my room but when I ventured through other areas, there were some real pungent odors. This hotel is in need of a makeover, especially beyond those elevator doors!!!

Used the pool and hot tub on my last visit here. Both were clean and the area was well maintained even though there were a lot of people; there was enough chairs, tables, and loungers. Staff is very friendly and kind!

I was very glad this hotel had a room available. I tried to reserve a room on the app but internet was not working that well while we were driving. Plus we were only here 1 night and it was great. We got there late, and were hungry. Unfortunately the food closed down when we got there. So we needed to go out for food. There is a lot of construction going on so there were some on ramps closed. We got food though. The room was nice, standard king room with a living room area. The door to the bathroom was a little wonky, and I noticed there wasn't a place or hook to put my towel when I took a shower. The breakfast in the morning was decent. There was definitely space to move around to get the food and we like the seating area. Overall a good stay.

This is a decent Embassy Suites that offers a nicer than "average" hotel stay feel. The room is spacious but the bed sadly was hard as a rock. The hotel was clean and even had a bar and restaurant downstairs. I might stay again if in the area.

Traveling with kiddos and worried about breakfast options, is there pancakes or a waffle iron?

They serve waffle sticks. They do not serve pancakes.

Is it located close to I5?, we're just passing by and want something close to the freeway. We don't want to take a drive through town

Yes, this hotel is just off I5 and just a few miles away from local attractions.

How is the freeway noise at this hotel if facing toward Magic Mountain?

There is another larger building between the freeway & this hotel- you cannot hear the freeway.

The lobby was well kept and clean. $15 parking applies. We were able to Lyft to the park for less than $10 bucks per ride avoiding the parking fees at the park. They had a restaurant and small store available to purchase drinks and snacks. They had a limited options though. Luckily there were stores and fast food options close by. Just a 3 min walk next door. Our room was clean and spacious with high ceilings. The ac worked great as it was 100 degrees for the 2 days we were there. We took to the pool which was a great amenity to combat the heat. I used the gym as well-small but definitely had what I needed- dumbbells, treadmill and spin bike. Overall this was a great stay and recommended if you're going to the Park!

Ok. Lots to unravel here. I booked this hotel through Expedia for one room two queen beds for two…read morenights and when I arrived to check in the receptionist told me "unfortunately we do not have a room with two queen beds available for you, we can put you in a king room with a rollaway." I didn't understand because what is the purpose of a reservation if you can't reserve what you need? They proceeded to explain to me that "because I booked through a third-party (such as Expedia) that there's no guarantee on what room you get." I paid $282.34 and didn't get my reserve room? Well we uncomfortably stayed in the king room with a rollaway one night we requested the second night to be moved if two queens became available, which it did. They offered us free parking and one free breakfast for the four of us but I still would've rather had the two queens to accommodate our family. The breakfast: substandard, and we received a bill and were told it was taken care of, but we had to fill in for a tip. It was buffet style and for four people the breakfast would've been $105.00 for bare basics... you could tell none of the food was made there. It was probably shipped in frozen then thawed, such as pancakes and eggs made from powder and water. Watered down juices. No pastry selection. Just really basic. Not worth $26 a breakfast. And asking for a tip when I serve myself buffet style didn't make sense. McDs would have been comparable but cheaper. Next night we were able to move to the two queen beds, but the room they put us in smelled crazy intensely like cigarette smoke the minute you walked in. We requested to change rooms and that was not a problem at all. We asked for extra towels, but we had to go to the desk to get them ourselves. After checkout on the next morning, one of the receptionists was kind enough to get me a cup of tea even though the breakfast bar was closed, so that was nice. Couple days later $15 charge appeared on my credit card so I called to ask why and they said it was a day parking fee (which was supposed to be waved) After having to call back to speak to a manager and a couple days later, the fee was refunded. While on the phone, I asked why you charge for parking when your website says free parking and the woman told me that "it is because I booked through Expedia". That just seems really weird to me. does your hotel charge for parking or not? The website says not and Expedia said not. So I'm confused. Just leaving this review, so people know what to expect if you book through Expedia or any other third-party like kayak or hot wire. The hotel staff was very nice and I guess did what they could to try to make up for it. Booking through Expedia (adding-I also did check their website and it did say they had two queen beds available at the same time I booked it, but the hotel staff said that doesn't matter because they don't communicate right away!) I would stay there again, but book directly through the hotel. I don't recommend the breakfast. It definitely wasn't worth $26 plus a tip for buffet style low budget food. And NO it is not a quick (or safe-lots of traffic) walk to Six Flags. The website says 0.10 mile but that is INCORRECT. It is 1.0 mile walking and 0.80 driving. Big difference if you were planning to walk.

We stayed two nights while attending the park and eating out. The ac/heater worked perfectly. The shower heads were a bit small with mediocre water pressure. The t.v was the worst part of the stay. They were also very accommodating with my room requests. The location is great, in a nice, safe-feeling area very close to Six Flags. I actually liked being on the freeway side because the noise doesn't bother me and I enjoyed the view of the park. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, although the bathroom floor could have been a little cleaner. I would prefer non-Dove toiletries. The Dove products have a very strong, chemical-like scent that smells cheap to me, and the bar soap practically disintegrated once it got wet. Our lotion dispenser was also accidentally filled with hand soap, but the front desk was very helpful and gave me a small bottle of lotion when I asked. I also wish weekend breakfast opened at 6:00 a.m. instead of 7:00. There were already about 10 people waiting when it opened. My biggest complaint was the room doors. I was awakened several times during the night by neighboring guests letting their doors slam behind them. The doors close extremely hard, and the sound travels down the hallway and into the rooms. I haven't noticed this issue at other IHG hotels I've stayed at. I really wish this property would install adjustable hydraulic door closers with controlled closing and latching speeds. Unfortunately, you can't count on every guest to be considerate enough to close their door quietly, so slower-closing mechanisms would make a huge difference. With that improvement, I honestly think this hotel would be pretty much flawless. The staff, service, location, and overall experience were great, and we would definitely stay again.

Hotel Stay Concern:…read more I am disappointed with my experience at this hotel and would like to share some concerns regarding both the service I received and the condition of my room. I arrived at approximately 8:36 PM and initially asked the front desk employee where the restroom was located. A few minutes later, I inquired about room availability and was immediately told that there were no rooms available. Shortly afterward, I had a minor emergency involving my child and left the property to find an urgent care facility. The urgent care I visited was no longer accepting patients, so I returned to the hotel about 20 minutes later. While sitting in the parking lot, I checked the Marriott app and noticed that a room was showing as available for booking. This was confusing because I had just been informed by the front desk that there were no rooms available. I went back inside and told the employee that I saw an available room online. I mentioned that I had previously been told there were no vacancies, and her response was simply, "Oh, that happens sometimes." I was able to check in, but the entire situation left me questioning why I had initially been told there was no availability. After settling into my room, I went back outside briefly to place my parking pass in my vehicle. When I returned, I politely asked the same employee about the welcome gifts I noticed sitting behind the desk. As a Marriott Gold member, I have typically received a welcome gift during previous stays. The employee responded by saying that the items were not gifts and were for guests who checked in, or something to that effect. Since she was standing at the desk with another customer but there was no active conversation taking place, I thought it would be appropriate to ask a quick question before returning to my room. Her response was, "I'll check when I'm done." At that point, I simply said, "Okay, just give me a call in my room and let me know," and walked away. While I understand that misunderstandings can happen, I felt that the employee's overall demeanor toward me was dismissive and unwelcoming. The combination of being told there were no rooms available when one became available shortly afterward, along with the interaction regarding the welcome gift, left me feeling uncomfortable. I cannot say for certain what the reason was, but I left the interaction feeling as though I was treated differently than I should have been. Additionally, the refrigerator in my room is making loud, continuous noises, which is making it difficult to relax and get proper rest. I hope management will review these concerns and address them appropriately to ensure a better experience for future guests.

The only complaint we have was the water pressure was not good and the water temp of the shower and sink was not hot.
