A little context: Originally Sears was out (yes, they still exist). Having repaired a few refrigerators, garage doors and operator control boards myself over the years, I knew things weren't right with these Sears guys (yes, plural -- well, one in training, poor sod). They weren't dishonest, really, just excessive. Especially with cost (...pretty obviously constrained by dinosaur policy -- what felt geared towards getting a fleeced customer to buy a new appliance from Sears). The Sears guys estimated a four-figure two-man project, including for two off-the-shelf generic machine screws, $37 each, parts only. (Still had to pay them for coming out.) Bless their little hearts. I can see how people get bamboozed by this blue-shirted Sears "professionalism". Hearing good things, I contacted Daniil. And in a little more than a day, paid an eighth of the price for way more, better, no-nonsense, good natured, in-and-out service. With warranty. That means that in order to access one of these property after the bank assigns it to me, I need to have a few of each of these new keys. For several years, I was just going to a local locksmith to have him make the keys from scratch; his quality was hit or miss. And, for the privilege of producing three-each of five different keys, I would spend $167 for keys that largely didn't work correctly. A colleague suggested I try MFS Supply. I've used them several times now with the same experience. I order my five sets of keys. With shipping, I pay under $40 - and they ship them to me within 24 hours. Following the same procedure, he and Mike arrived at 8 a.m. the next Monday and installed the parts. Then they checked the circuit board. Nothing. Rick gave me a price for the board, including the parts he had just installed. I decided for that cost I could buy a new washer. The techs were very kind, agreeing, and charged me only for the service, which I'd already paid. They did remove the new parts to return. Note to self: If the washer is so off balanced that it "walks" several inches, get it checked out now. That rattling/walking can loosen other parts.
