We have been a couple times now and both times have been a great experience. Our servers have been super nice and attentive. I love that is super chill with good food. The last time we went I shared the 12oz sirloin with my daughter and with the sides and salad that comes with it was plenty of food for the both of us. Hello my husband & I stopped by this place a while back. Not a bad place & the food was ok when we finally got it.The service that we received was terrible to say the least. I think the girl had too much going on. She told us her name & I believe it was Cherie if we remember correctly. She was very unfriendly & didn't let us know about any of the specials. It took a long time to have our food served only to be cold. We noticed her on her phone a lot while we were waiting for our food. Maybe she was having issues in her personal life at the time. The pizza was just one of the items that we ordered, but we ate everything so quickly this was all we had left. My husband ordered two delicious pizzas. My son ordered the black angus burger, but he has bigger eyes than his stomach, so the 10 ounce was a little too much for him- but well worth the pain as he consumed it until the point of abdominal pain, but with a look of delight on his face. My daughter and I ordered the steak and it was cooked to mouthwatering perfection. They had every sports game on the tv's with great access to what ever you wanted to watch. Great environment! May seem picky, but after a 10 hour shift at Ultium, I asked for a booth for my wife and me. I was told I'd have to sit at a tiny high top in the poolroom because they seat patrons according to fairness for the servers. I asked if I could please have a booth and she said no because it wasn't fair to the servers. I went to Jonathan's instead and ate drank and was very merry and comfortable. As we ramp up for the Blazer in 2027, I am definitely recommending moving union night to the more accommodating Jonathan's where the staff is customer focused. In any case, Embers have a serviceable club sandwich and I will pick it up to go possibly but I will never sit down and eat there. Times are hard, I work very hard and I have expectations just as my customers do. read more

Everything. All the food I have had was good and plentiful. The service is not real fast but everything is cooked to order and is very fresh. Worth the wait for sure. The more you eat there you will notice that the normal crowd is mostly made up of regular customers that come there often. A lot of them know each other for sure. Six of us eat there every wednesday. Service and food are usually very good. Tonight everyone's food came except mine. Waitress said my order didnt make the list. Whatever that means. She said they were cooking it now. And she forgot to order our poppers. 30 minutes later she appears and says it's almost ready. Great little local bar. I see a lot of familiar faces every time I stop in. I literally live right across the street and it's one of my favorite places to visit. The food (especially the chicken wings) is great. The Wings are the best in the area and it's not close. The pricing is beyond fair with all of the specials they run. For a Tuesday night i expected to come in and get good food with good service. Which is not what I got. I ordered the Ruben sandwich and fries and my fiancé ordered the chicken tenders and fries. We also got the potato skins as an appetizer. We know potato skins are greasy as it is but these were over the top grease and the bacon on top was very burnt. The Ruben that I ordered was fairly good, i have no complaints there. My fiancé said his chicken tenders were okay and not really worth it. The Server (short dark headed girl) was very slow at getting to us. There was 3 tables when we walked in and 2 left as soon as we got there. Her and a gentleman both helped us. I will say both of them were very nice and had great customer service. We kinda just brushed it off as if it is what it is. Our server brought us the check and it was $50!!!! If we ordered some drinks i can see this price but for the chicken tenders and a sandwich!!! What!!! Not to mention the menu said chicken tenders are 16? How did it add up to $50??? Ate a late lunch here with my family on a Saturday afternoon. The positive aspects were the excellent and friendly service, and the 2 for 1 drinks. The negative aspect was the food. Although the salads were huge, their soup of the day, chicken tortellini was laughably bad, with a vinegary taste. The only reason I didn't give a higher rating is because most melas are served with Kettle chips (blah), and there is an up charge of $2.50 for fries and $3 for onion rings (which I think is too steep).. I could understand $1-1.50 up charge... I would be willing to pay that, and I'm sure most other patrons would too...
