My son ordered the black angus burger, but he has bigger eyes than his stomach, so the 10 ounce was a little too much for him- but well worth the pain as he consumed it until the point of abdominal pain, but with a look of delight on his face. My daughter and I ordered the steak and it was cooked to mouthwatering perfection. They had every sports game on the tv's with great access to what ever you wanted to watch. Great environment! May seem picky, but after a 10 hour shift at Ultium, I asked for a booth for my wife and me. I was told I'd have to sit at a tiny high top in the poolroom because they seat patrons according to fairness for the servers. I asked if I could please have a booth and she said no because it wasn't fair to the servers. I went to Jonathan's instead and ate drank and was very merry and comfortable. As we ramp up for the Blazer in 2027, I am definitely recommending moving union night to the more accommodating Jonathan's where the staff is customer focused. In any case, Embers have a serviceable club sandwich and I will pick it up to go possibly but I will never sit down and eat there. Love this place. They have really good food and awesome service. I just had a dozen smoked wings with medium sauce and I ordered just flats. You pay for it but it was worth it to me. On 04/19/25 at 21:30pm, I was at Embers Tavern & Grille, located at 2513 Hospitality Dr, Columbia, TN 38401. The staff was extremely rude. I tried to get their attention, but they disregarded my presents. Statistically this is normal every time I attempt to order food. I have been coming to embers for 3 years and never said anything about this continuing disrespect until the above date. I had to speak up. Every time I attempt to go to the bar, check-out counter, or any seated area, they disregard my present. I spoke to a young lady about the issue, and she didn't take it seriously. When I asked to speak to the manager, the young lady lied and told me she was gone to try to hinder me from talking to her about the issue. She was wrong. I'm almost 60 years old. I know when a manager is present or not. I told her I was aware she was still present. When I spoke to the manager about the issue, she backed her staff and made me a scapegoat! According to the law, it's illegal for a business to refuse to accommodate the public. The employees are racist! They only accommodate Caucasians and disregard people of color. I will not be going back to embers ever again. A service shouldn't ever have a color or personal preference. According to the manager, her staff and her get a pass indefinitely. She made it very clear that it's her job to back her staff and they can't accommodate me because they are too busy! read more

This is a great little bar/restaurant. Really good Happy hour deals. Good appetizers. I had the wings and they were really good. The price of the wings is "market price" which made me laugh. The more you eat there you will notice that the normal crowd is mostly made up of regular customers that come there often. A lot of them know each other for sure. For a Tuesday night i expected to come in and get good food with good service. Which is not what I got. I ordered the Ruben sandwich and fries and my fiancé ordered the chicken tenders and fries. I will say both of them were very nice and had great customer service. We kinda just brushed it off as if it is what it is. Our server brought us the check and it was $50!!!! Great little local bar. I see a lot of familiar faces every time I stop in. I literally live right across the street and it's one of my favorite places to visit. The food (especially the chicken wings) is great. The Wings are the best in the area and it's not close. The pricing is beyond fair with all of the specials they run. Bartenders and servers are attentive and friendly. This place is worth the drive to visit. Ate a late lunch here with my family on a Saturday afternoon. The positive aspects were the excellent and friendly service, and the 2 for 1 drinks. The negative aspect was the food. Although the salads were huge, their soup of the day, chicken tortellini was laughably bad, with a vinegary taste.
