Also had a few older pinball machines! Only real complaint was we were hoping to get the appetizer breadsticks out before our pizza. They were behind on orders so everything came out together. I just had my first visit to this fun restaurant. The atmosphere is great. How can anything with a giant pirate skeleton and a fire-breathing dragon be less than great. They had me on entry to be honest. The place was packed and busy on a Friday night, but that was what I expected. The line moved quickly. I would suggest ordering a cookie while you are in line to enjoy with your pizza. There is an open food prep area that looked like it would have been fabulous to sit near. We ended up outside on the enclosed patio. It was a cold winter day, and the heaters were on. It was still pretty cold out there especially when the heaters would cycle off. I feel like you pretty much have to bus your own table and wipe it off yourself. Maybe that's not the case all the time, but they were super busy. There were paper towels on the tables that we wet and wiped off the tabletop. The drinks were self serve. The pizza did take a while, but it was super busy and they were at full capacity. There was lots to look at, so the time passed quickly. The pizza itself was great. It was a little dark on the edges, but overall they were good slices. read more

Pretty good coal fired pizza. The place is very busy and is a fun atmosphere. They have an outdoor section as well. I think it is neat we can see the pizza being made. We've tried go there at least once a week for Pinball & pizza what an awesome combination ! glad to see more restaurants and bars are having pinball machines installed again. Adds to the atmosphere and makes it more of an experience than just eating. By the way, their beer selection is amazing. My wife and I aren't huge drinkers, but we did have a couple of different IPAs and a cider today for the first time. the owner Brandon knows his stuff and even if you drive out of the way, try the Springhill location, it's outstanding. read more

Pizza is solid. The bring the pizza to your table but you have to find the plates on your own. It's fun, like an easter egg hunt. Beer selection is good but wouldn't hurt if they took the time to update their website with the actual beers on tap. There is a nice interior space (cozy enough) and a covered outside area for when the weather is nice. Would be nice if they were open on Sunday and Monday. read more

I also really enjoy sitting out on the patio to enjoy my food. To those complaining of the price I feel like high quality ingredients just cost more. It wasn't unreasonable. I heard this is one of the few restaurants in Spring Hill that uses Olive oil (instead of yucky oils) so we wanted to check it out! We called in our take out order on a Friday around 5pm... the person that answered the call was very nice and thorough taking our ordered. They said it would take about 20 minutes to be ready (which is fantastic for a Friday night!). Picking up our order was quick and easy. We ordered two pizzas... one was regular and one was gluten free crust. Unfortunately the edge of the crust on both pizzas was burned so that part wasn't the best. Our bill was $39 for two pizzas before any tip so that part wasn't the best either. I might try them again if we can dine in but wouldn't spend that much for take out pizza. read more

The counter person was super helpful when I was ordering. I didn't want a conventional red sauce and the Thor's Legacy caught my eyes with the help of the gent at the counter: Garlic olive oil base, sliced meatballs, mozzarella, ricotta cheese, spinach, basil, tomatoes. MAN, what a fantastic pizza! This is be added to Nashville treks in the future. I would like to see smaller versions added, but I cannot fault them for serving too much food at a reasonable price! Stopped in here for dinner on a Saturday night, which might have been a mistake. The wait to get our pizza was excruciatingly long, but ultimately worth the wait! We ordered the cheese bread with marinara dipping sauce, a regular pepperoni pizza, and the Viking specialty pizza. Would have loved to try some of the different specialty pizzas and also calzones next time we are in the area. Loved the combo of flavors for the Viking. Good size too - we had plenty left over! It made for great leftovers. And my eight year old couldn't get over the fact that there were pinball machines, he could play for free! Definitely needed for entertainment with the long wait. Great music playing as well. This was a popular place so upon arrival, the only open seating we could find it was outside on the patio. It was chilly, but there were heaters above. Problem with that though is that they kicked off and we couldn't get them back on. Apparently they are on a timer and we were without heat for 30 minutes. Tried Viking Pizza for the first time on Wednesday night. I have really been missing out! I'm ashamed to say it was only when the Chapel Hill residents started losing their minds over your second location that I decided to give Viking Spring Hill a try. The short review: We will be back. I picked up the phone on Wednesday night and ordered a Pepperoni and a Berserker (meat lovers). The gentleman on the phone was attentive and kind. Thinking it would take 30-45 minutes to make the pizzas, I was pleasantly surprised that he said it would be ready in 15 minutes. As promised, when I came to the restaurant, the pizza was ready to go. The pizza was delicious. Both were devoured and nearly no leftovers to enjoy later.
