Huan Nguyen, D.O. never appears at the Keller office. The staff confirmed this only after I insisted on scheduling with him directly. If you walk in and ask to see Dr. Nguyen, even for five seconds, you will discover the same thing: the "doctor's office" has no doctor. Bring friends. Make it a field trip. So what is there? An office manager (owner?) named Arturo, who behaves as though the basic duties of a clinic are personal inconveniences. In my case, he explained that they are very, very busy (unlike the rest of us, apparently) and that they "don't get paid to send referrals," as though referrals are favors rather than a basic component of patient care. In point of fact, their own nurse practitioner made the referral--which the staff then mishandled. Mistakes happen, but some mistakes actually need to be corrected. I had to return in person to make that clear. I'm sure it's a fantastic revenue-generating model: (1) acquire a doctor's name for the website; (2) rent an office and hire a few NPs; (3) market yourself as a physician-led clinic; (4) cash the insurance checks. Arturo is probably planning an early retirement. In Texas, this is perfectly legal. And it's a perfect snapshot of how broken healthcare has become here.

Extremely Disappointed with My Visit…read more I had a very frustrating and concerning experience at this office. I arrived at 1:15 PM for an ultrasound, and despite my appointment with Dr. Hartman being scheduled for 1:45, I wasn't placed in a room until 2:45. A staff member came in and told me I needed to see the PA because the doctor was extremely behind. I clearly said I did not want to see the PA and was willing to wait for Dr. Hartman because I didn't have anything else to do that day. But when the doctor finally came in, she told me my appointment had already been reassigned to the PA completely ignoring what I had requested. When Dr. Hartman did see me, she admitted to getting only 2 hours of sleep over 3 days and said she almost didn't come in. She looked so exhausted that I was genuinely concerned about her ability to provide safe care. She was struggling to keep her eyes open. She hadn't reviewed my chart beforehand, glossed over my ultrasound results, and dismissed concerns about how my medication could be affecting my health because it wasn't "her department." I left feeling dismissed, unheard, and like my concerns weren't taken seriously especially since I'm not trying to conceive, which seems to impact how you're treated here. I was at the office for over three hours, and no one made an effort to notify me ahead of time about the significant delay. The lack of communication and coordination among staff was unacceptable. After my appointment on May 7th, I followed up when no clinical notes, after-visit summary, or ultrasound results were posted to MyChart within two days. I was told it could take "a few days," and that Dr. Hartman had only had two hours of sleep over three days, was post-call, and performing surgery the day after my visit. This is deeply concerning not only was I left without timely access to my records, but it also raises serious questions about how safe and sustainable it is for providers to be making medical decisions and performing surgery in such an exhausted state.

Dr. Safely is thorough, and looks at all aspects of my health - he monitors my hormone levels (both estrogen/testosterone and thyroid hormones).
