My visit on a Sunday afternoon this April with a very personable doctor who took great care of my teenage daughter, preceded by several great experiences with 4 other separate doctors at this facility was what prompted me "this is a good establishment, they deserve to hear from me and in public that they are doing many things right, they have good doctors who are competent, who care, and who have great people skills". Good people! like a neighborhood family doc to my family, with excellent walk-in hours. I learned subsequently the name of above-mentioned doctor (Dr Anna Farhat) on Apr 21 2019 who attended to a big cut on my daughter's finger (from a box cutter while she was cutting (&painting) posters for a march). Smiling often, Dr Farhat set the anxious young lady at ease, took excellent care, told her it was too late to sew up now (since she should have come in about 12-24 hrs earlier) but that it would be okay, did a couple of things to seal the gash in for recovery. In over 3 years of going to Emcura Bloomfield, i find the doctor staff are like family physicians ... they try to know the kids, what is going on overall with them, and I have rarely had extremely long waits. A week earlier to this visit with Dr Farhat, I took in another child who had missed school 3-4 times in as many weeks, Dr Soopak took nearly 20-30 min to listen to my daughter to understand what was going on with her psychologically, in school, family dynamics etc (vs. others who may have just treated the fever and throwing up). That visit helped us triangulate with an ob-gyn and family physician, school-psychologist for appropriate follow up. My husband took my son here for a suspected broken wrist incurred during a late-night soccer practice. Now, my husband is not, shall we say, a noticing kind of guy. But he texted me during the appointment to say how impressed he was & how he thinks we should make this our go-to urgent care. And came home stress-free, or as much as possible with an injured kid, which I appreciated. He said they took our son in immediately, got him x-rayed, and the doc was able to confirm a break & gave us a nice recommendation for an orthopedic surgeon. My only complaint was that I had to call twice to confirm they were open/did x-Rays prior to going there. The first time no one answered the phone. I'd like it if they could have a backup person to answer the phone if the receptionist is engaged. In an urgent situation, leaving a voicemail for someone to call you back later isn't optimal. read more

Newly home from a major surgeries for breast cancer and blown off by my U of M doctors' on call service on the weekend as having the flu -wrongly told to take Tylenol. luckily Emcura saw me. In the middle of a snowstorm near closing on a Saturday night these kind smart doctors took their time and made the correct diagnosis. I had a bad UTI and was in need of the right antibiotic. What a relief from the 102 fever aching headache and exhaustion on top of breast cancer surgery. I'm greatly relieved. read more

I've been here a couple of times for a sore throat. The first time I was there, I was seen pretty quickly the Dr was very nice and I was out of there quick! The second time they have a packed waiting room and I was still seen in a timely manner. The nurses are very nice and the Drs are nice and take their time while talking to you. A couple days after my appointment one of the nurses called my phone to see how I was feeling. (Which my own primary Doctor never does.) I was very thankful they saw me quickly and called to ask how I was feeling. If I had to choose, Emcura Urgent Care over any other Dr's I've been to- any day. Thank you Emcura. read more

The Drs. At emcura are genuinely concerned for your health and take the time to ask the questions AND listen to the answers! Imagine that? For the past three years I've had seasonal breathing issues that were unsuccessfully treated at my primary care physicians office so I found myself back at emcura to try to put the train back on its tracks. I went to Emcura 5 times. 3 times I thought the experience was good, not great. 2 times I thought the experience was awful. Emcura touts itself as a better than the average urgent care experience. After my 5 times going there I feel like it is the same experience as any run of the mill urgent care (which in my opinion is not great at all). The wait times are entirely hit or miss. It could be 5 minutes or 2 hours in some cases. I thought the medical providers were pretty good, but the employees at the reception were not always friendly and a couple times I experienced very incompetent employees. What is even more frustrating is that I shared feedback to Emcura both times I had awful experiences and no one ever followed-up with me or implemented any changes. I really wish I could have more positive feedback, but unfortunately I can confidently say that Emcura does not provide a better urgency care experience as it markets itself. read more

I'm from the UK and relatively new to dealing with walk in medical facilities so I can't rate anywhere as a comparison with my UK experience but I would start with a 4 star for Emcura as I have found in my handful of visits to Emcura that the admin staff and medical staff are very friendly, extremely knowledgeable and in particular caring. Dr Supak Sookkasikon and her Husband Dr Kesliker, both of whom I have had the experience of discussing symptoms on separate occasions have shown real interest and care and not trying to make a rushed diagnosis. They both seek to get the to root of a problem and try to do what is best for me and not that I'm just someone passing through. I will definitely maintain them as my Primary Care doctors. Thought I had Bronchitis, so found 5 Star Emcura Immediate Care. I was so impressed! I HIGHLY recommend Emcura! Turns out I did not have Bronchitis, but something different that would have become worse than Bronchitis. Dr. Kesliker was not only smart, but explained everything so thoroughly that I had no questions, so I started asking other things. I discovered that he and Dr. S are extremely well-versed in not only medicine (of course), but well-schooled in the Holistic approach, too. They feel that taking care of yourself properly to begin will help keep you from needing a doctor. My conclusion . . . GO THERE!!!! Dr. K is smart, understand, explains thoroughly and has patience to listen! He is a wonderful doctor!!! read more

Just wanted to give an update. As soon as I posted my rating I received a call from the office. They apologized and said that there was a mix up with the office that was doing my tests. I was pleasantly surprised by the fact that they took the time to call and apologize and get back with me same day with the results. I even got a call from the lab explaining the situation. My new source of immediate medical assistance has been found! I took my son to this spotlessly clean clinic last night for an ear infection. I called ahead and was told the wait was about a half an hour. I decided to go right over anyway and wait. I waited about exactly that amount of time and was met in the waiting area by the medical assistant or nurse/PA with sincere apologies. He came around the front desk to escort us back to a room rather than standing at a door yelling our name and was not only courteous and informative, but was great with my son. The doctor arrived shortly after and he was very warm and smart and calm. He is apparently the co-owner with his wife and they clearly care about their business and patients. He gave us meds, a coupon for a very expensive perscription that saved me money and sent us happily on our way. I called today because my son developed a fever and not only did the medical assistant remember us, he said he would have the doctor call me. I was skeptical because we all know how that usually goes. But the doctor called me back in what seemed like minutes and was again warm and kind and informative. All you want a doctor to be. I will stop raving now, but this place is different and I would recommend them to anyone. If I could take my son here all the time I would. Good job! read more

Honestly do not know how this place has 5 star reviews across the board. I trusted reviews and decided to go to this walk in. The clinic is very modern which is great but the service was expensive and not good. First off they had no clue what was wrong with me so they took blood test. Said they would call me back the next day. I ended up calling back four days later to check the results. They said it came up I had inflammation they gave me an anti inflammatory said they would have the lab run more test. They said they would call me with results. Another week went by no call. So I called the clinic and the desk said that on the report it didn't say the Dr. Ordered anymore test. She said she would have the Dr call me and now here I am another week later no call from the Dr. I'm now back in North Dakota so I will be able to see my Dr. But this place was a waste of $130. After reviewing them they gave me a call right away then posted they had solved the issue. That they defiantly did not do. Also there call was 30 minutes after I left a review that shows me what this clinic really cares about. Save money visit a different clinic. read more

Dr. S was a very dismissive, rude person. I waited for an hour to be seen, and then she came in my room for a minute, didn't even introduce herself, left to go see another patient, and when she came back she told me what I already knew. Nice clean facility in a great convenient location. Went with stubborn sinus/ear infection and received care quickly and efficiently. I did end up going to my primary care physician for stronger antibiotic to kill the bug but they did start me on the path to wellness. read more

Came in random urine test as executive participation in employee drug testing program . Done it dozens of times in the past. First time here. Waited 40 minutes for what should take 2 minutes. Waiting room was empty - 8PM. I will refer my employees elsewhere - especially if they go on company time. read more

Emcura is the best urgent care that I've ever been to. I brought my daughter there today and I was impressed by every aspect of the visit - clean facility, friendly staff, quick check-in, thorough examination with a very patient physician, and we were in and out in less than an hour. My daughter is 3 and is shy around new people, but the staff here was great with her and made us both completely comfortable. I've been here several times - always clean, fast, friendly, and the doctors truly care. Dr. Supak opened the doors after hours for me and saw me despite the fact her staff had gone for the evening. Went here for the first time yesterday to have a back injury checked out. I was really impressed. The office is super clean and the staff is very friendly. I was seen by Dr. Kesliker. Really nice guy, very knowledgeable and spends the time with you that you need. I waited maybe 30-45 minutes to be seen but it was well worth it. They are open-minded here and not pushy. I like the fact that its a small family run place and not a corporate run urgent care. I've tried other urgent care's and this one is by far the best. You can tell they really want to help people.
