If you want the product the way they make it without eliminating or changing an item don't hesitate to order from here. My issue was I had a request to change FROM chipotle sour cream TO regular sour cream on an order of Carne Asada Fries. On the app there is a box that says "Preferences...add special instructions ". I didn't want to chance it so I went and ordered at the restaurant. The young girl behind the register was nice and pleasant and let me order directly to her. She seemed to understand what my request was. Unfortunately when I got home it was wrong, it had the chipotle sour cream on it. It's just very disappointing when I took special steps to get it right that it was wrong. I asked the young lady when she handed me my order if she thought I would have got the swapped ingredient had I requested it in the "Preferences Special request box on the app. She said yes. Fortunately it was not a food allergy issue it was just a taste preference. So now Taco Stand has dropped off my Taco Tuesday lineup options. The food is good just don't try to alter the ingredients. The waitress started us with the traditional tortilla chips and two sauces: mild and hot. I always go for the hot one personally. Everyone else went for the mild so more heat for me! I had no problem finishing off almost the entire bowl of chips and sauce while I waited on the main entree which was bean enchiladas and rice. Well what can I say? The enchiladas were magnífico! The red sauce they use on them really brings out the flavors of the beans and tortillas. I had a slightly difficult time finishing them due to to the large portion size, as is to be expected at a Mexican restaurant, so make sure you come to Rancho Grande with an appetite! The service was good but a little slow because only one waitress was working. The prices are very fair and you will leave very full with a reasonable tab. If you love Mexican food and you're ever down on Middlebelt in Garden City, don't pass up Rancho Grande!

As I walked to the counter I noticed that behind the counter there were nacho chips in baskets stacked on top of each other under a light ready to be served to tables. Yuk! I was told I could sit anywhere so I was looking for a seat away from the a/c vents because it was so cold inside that I was glad I had my jacket. As I sat looking at the menu I started to put on my hood due to how cold it was but barreled through without covering up. I did not complain just ordered my food. I was helped by a server but don't recall him telling me his name but I can tell he may have been helping take out customers while attempting to serve the only table of 1 in the entire restaurant, me. Ask I got my chips I noticed dried sauce on the basket and not any type of separation from my chips. Yuk. My food came out quick but unfortunately I ordered a water and never got it. Glad I had my own with me. The food was good and fresh. As I came to the front to cash out I asked for receipt and was told that they could not give out receipts because their register cannot make copies but I could take a picture. This seemed like the norm in how they handle transactions but unfortunately is not a good way to go for me. And this is where I decided I would not be back. As i took the picture of the receipt I asked why is the name on the receipt (El Herradero) was different than the name on the building Burrito Loco? The person working who was also the person serving me said he did not know. What he didn't know is that I was looking for the restaurant El Herradero and my gps took me here so I assume they either changed the name or went out of business. Either way, unfortunately my experience here was not that great due to the service but most of all I cannot even get my own receipt for my own purposes? Wow. That's a first!
