The salon is very clean which is something I look for during covid times. The lash techs are friendly and professional. I've gotten full sets and fills with them, usually go for the extra volume. EMME is one of the reasons I am so sad to no longer be living in Brookline. I used to get my lashes done on a ~3 week basis. Lisa was my lash artist and she is the absolute best. She helped me figure out what length and curl worked for my eyes and style and knocked it out of the park each time. I found that most of the time, my lashes lasted until my next appointment and grew out instead of falling out. Experience: Making an appointment was always super easy - I used to book online and if I needed to reschedule, I would just text them and they were extremely accommodating. When arriving to your appointment, you just walk in and let the person at the desk know you're there for your appointment. The staff are really good with names and faces so if you're a regular, your lash artist will probably see you walk in, say hi, and tell you that they're ready for you (or, if not, they'll have you wait in the seating area until they are). The studio itself is pretty simple and very clean. The beds are comfy - so comfy that I'm pretty sure I've fallen asleep (sorry, Lisa!). If you drive there, there is ample street parking (metered) or if you take the T, the C Line stops across the street. Ugh, I miss this place so much and my lashes. I am obsessed with my lashes!! First off, I do not usually have lash extensions. I will get extensions for vacations/special occasions. This place is new and opened up a few weeks ago. I decided to come here to trial lash extensions for my wedding. I got the extra volume extensions and they are perfect for the big day. The lashes are so light that I forget I have them. When Ive gotten extensions in the past, the technicians placed the lashes so it looked droopy and made my eyes look smaller. These lashes from Emme brighten up my face and make me look refreshed. The salon is very clean, and all covid precautions are taken. I got my temperature taken before the start of my appointment and areas are disinfected between clients. I will have to see how these lashes hold up but I am very happy with the results! Definitely give this place a try if you're looking for lash extensions. read more

I was in desperate need of a lash fill while here in Boston... after lots of searching and reading review after review from places.... I decided on EMME. Well to much disappointment I felt this was a huge waste and it is over priced! I would give customer service 5 stars but the lashes and maybe the technique were not! I saw exactly why they suggest a 1 week fill, 2 week fill etc etc because these lashes do not last!!! After 1 week 50% of my lashes were gone! 2 weeks about 80% gone.... When I get my lashes done back in Houston at my normal place they last 3 - 4 weeks and even then getting a refill is not 100% necessary! These lashes were very disappointing especially for $115 plus tip for a fill! Not worth it! read more

The location is so convenient with plenty of street parking, so I don't have to feel stressed trying to find a parking spot and make my appointment. I got my lashes done about 3 weeks ago. I got a volume set so they'd look more full and boy was I surprised with how well these stayed on! I've gotten standard and volume lashes numerous times all over Boston and New York. Regardless of where I've been, my lashes are so thin i usually start finding lashes everywhere after day one and by week 2, I have like two lashes left on each eye *face palm*. These however are still going strong 3 WEEKS later! Some do turn as is the nature of my weak lashes but not as many in comparison to other volume lash sets I've gotten elsewhere. read more
